From start to finish Paxton and Brown were amazing. Henny, James and the whole team were amazing on the day and the food was perfect. So many of our guests commented on how good the food was with many saying it was the best they’d ever had at a wedding. Myself and my wife could not have agreed more.

During the planning phase Henny and James gave us fantastic assistance with a real personal touch. They gave us really good suggestions about how to make the day run smoothly so our guests would get the best experience.

We would absolutely recommend Paxton and Brown to anyone who wants to work with great people and more importantly eat amazing food on their wedding day!

CANNOT recommend James, Henny and team enough! They were incredible! The food was amazing- guests were asking for business cards, the service was so smooth despite heavy rain and power cuts (sorry team!)

In the lead up to the wedding James helped us choose our dream menu and canapés and Henny guided us through everything that was needed to make sure it all ran as well as it did!

Loved hiring Paxton & Brown for our wedding, they were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The entire team was fun, professional, attentive and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect.

The food itself was a true highlight. From the incredible canapés that delighted our guests (the pork one!) to the beautifully presented and delicious main courses (that lamb!!!!), every dietary request was accounted for and managed with ease. Our guests are still talking about it.

James & Henny made the entire process so easy and stress-free. Their menu suggestions were tailored perfectly and they handled everything on the day with effortless grace. We couldn't have asked for a better catering service. I highly recommend them. Thank you for an unforgettable day!

Paxton & Brown catered for our company Christmas party and I can't recommend them enough!

They provided lovely menu choices and adapted them to our specific requirements. I felt comfortable that I could ask for what I wanted - they made me feel like it was no trouble. They were great to work with and I could tell they genuinely care about putting on a special event.

Most importantly, the food was fantastic. It was tasty, plentiful and served efficiently. I had so many people tell me how much they enjoyed it, which ever option they had.

PaxtonandBrown catered for my clients wedding in August and they were absolutely brilliant, so much so that I booked them for another client event in December. Not only was the food amazing but the standard of service and communication was excellent!

P&B were absolutely incredible from end to end. After multiple calls with caterers in the planning phase, I really felt like P&B who truly listened to me, making it an easy choice to select them. They didn’t hesitate at all when we requested an entirely gluten-free wedding and went above and beyond to accommodate some challenging dietary requirements from our guests.

The team is approachable, helpful and also creative. I genuinely felt like they were willing to do whatever it took to make our day special. Given that our venue was a bit basic, they played a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience.

The food itself was nothing short of amazing! Having attended around 15 weddings (including my own) in the past three years, I can confidently say I’ve never enjoyed the food as much as I did at ours! I received countless compliments from guests as well.

The entire team was smooth, professional, and friendly. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!

Paxton & Brown catered for our outdoor wedding this summer. From the very first consultation to waving James off on the evening of our wedding day, they were an absolute dream to deal with. No request was too small and Henny and her team were helpful in many ways beyond what is expected of a caterer. From helping us decide on the menu, working with local suppliers we know and love, organising a delicious tasting and doing all of the equipment hire order for us - she made life so much easier during the wedding planning.

Our guests all complimented the food so highly, and the service on the day was seamless, none of our guests wanted for anything. Thank you so much to the whole Paxton and Brown team, we consider ourselves very lucky to have had the chance to work with you and can highly recommend them!!!

It was an absolute delight to work with Paxton & Brown for one of our experiential events with Madri. We were providing consumers with a small tapas dish (for free) providing both a meat and vegan option worked up alongside a Spanish chef. P&B executed the dishes perfectly and were solution minded throughout the entire planning process. We will be sure to work with them in the future when the opportunity arises and can't recommend their services enough.

Exceptional food and service from P&B!

We had Paxton and Brown cater for our recent wedding. They were the only caterers we spoke to, but we knew straight away they were the ones for us.

Henny completely understood the logistics and planning side of the wedding and James instinctively knew what food we (and our guests) would love... Even down to knowing exactly what meal my slightly fussy Grandad would want instead...

From start to finish, Henny was a superstar in helping us plan the food and catering, no question was too small or silly. Though I think some questions raised a few eyebrows 😉 She kept me on the straight and narrow, making sure I hadn't missed out or forgotten any details, and coped with any indecision thrown her way. On the day, she led such a smooth operation I barely even noticed they were there. The tables were set up exactly as we wanted, and last minute changes were accommodated easily.

We wanted simple, unfussy, but really good tasting food. Which is exactly what we got from James. We had a tasting with the team, where we had the opportunity to make changes to our menu before the big day, but there was really no need to. All dietary requirements were catered for, and we haven't heard from any of our guests that they went hungry (and trust me, they would tell us!) All we've heard from our guests is how much they enjoyed the food. One guest even said they were the best canapés they had ever had, and her husband had queried if he was allowed to go around the tables and eat the leftovers, not that there were many!

I've already asked my new husband if we can have P&B cater for our anniversary every year... just to choose which family members we invite to join us.

Paxton and Brown have done two BBQ's for us now.Their catering is superb and they are really well organised. All of our guests commented on how good the food was. There were compliments on every aspect of the food from taste to presentation. They are all very friendly and extremely helpful going above and beyond to ensure that everyone is happy.

Excellent planning, communication and service. Henny and team did a great job of taking away the stress of the day as we were 100% confident in their ability to prepare, serve and organise the whole food service and table management. We also took advantage of P & B home dining offer to help us decide on a menu. This was fun and helped us refine the menu.

Paxton & Brown really helped so much to make our party special. The food was absolutely superb, with so many compliments from our guests. That alone would have been great, however, in addition, they exceeded our expectations of even the best caterers, with sound advice and by being more than willing to help smooth the way for me (a party planner novice).

Paxton & Brown catered for my 60th birthday celebration dinner, the highlight of a party weekend for 24 of us at country house in Gloucestershire. I was drawn to choose P&B because their sample menus stood out from typical "wedding caterers" by offering imaginative choices which were only a starting point in creating a bespoke menu which included other dishes suggested by chef, James. The whole experience from phone discussions in preparation and meeting the team on the day was faultless. They were friendly, professional and fitted in with the house guests unobtrusively whilst providing a personal service. And everything cleared up leaving a spotless kitchen! Absolutely perfect and my friends have taken their details for any future events they might have. Total delight, want to do it again.

Paxton and Brown provided the catering for our wedding at home in my parents garden. They couldn't do enough to make the day run as smoothly as possible. The food was AMAZING and service on the day exceptional. It blows our mind how you produced such tasty food from a tent in the back of the field!!

Finally... if you were ever worried there wouldn't be enough food, don't worry. Paxton and Brown ensured there was PLENTY.

Paxton & Brown recently catered for our son's wedding. From the start of the planning process to the day itself they were a pleasure to work with. Nothing was too much trouble. We could not fault their attention to detail.

The day itself was one of the hottest of the year and yet Henny, James and the team worked tirelessly to ensure on the day everything went according to plan. The canapes, wedding breakfast and evening supper were all superb.

I would have no hesitation recommending Paxton and Brown....indeed I wish we could do the whole thing again.

There’s a lot to organise when your daughter tells you she’d like to have her wedding at home. My biggest concern was the caterer. How on earth do you find a good one? It was pure luck (after a bit of trawling through the internet). When I first spoke to Henny and Holly on the phone they immediately sounded confident and easy to work with. I was also put in touch with James the chef He asked me what I was looking for on the catering side of the wedding. It was easier to tell James what I didn’t want: “I don’t want Table 1 to be starting dessert while Table 14 are just receiving their starter; I don’t want just one member of staff struggling to looking after 6 tables on their own, we need lots of waiters available and attentive; and I certainly don’t want to be served a sad piece of rubbery chicken breast which looks likes it’s spent the last 2 hours under a heat lamp! And nobody should leave the wedding feeling hungry.” James replied with “Sounds like you’ve been to the same dreadful weddings that I’ve been to” and I immediately knew that Paxton & Brown were a fab choice.

They were professional, confident, helpful, sensible, they skilfully fielded our numerous phone calls, emails, texts (even quite late one evening) and assured us that everything was under control. P&B were a delight to work with. Even in the trickiest moments of preparation we had such a laugh.

OMG! What a magnificent magical day! Nothing was too much trouble for Henny and the team. The food was absolutely delicious - I’ve had so many compliments from people about the catering: canapés, sit down meal and then a table laid up with fabulous food again in the evening. Our wedding was on one of the hottest days of the year - Henny came to warn me and apologise that the main course might be 5 minutes late as the staff were struggling slightly in the heat - I was amazed that they were all still standing! Any food left over from the evening buffet was packed up by P&B and put in my fridge.

So, book them for your parties - but I feel you’re going to have to move quickly as they are becoming very popular because they are so amazing! I’m already trying to find another excuse to book them!

Paxton and Brown catered our wedding and it was absolutely incredible. The canapés, the main and evening food were all really special, and got very high praise from all of our guests throughout the day.
Throughout the whole process they really helped us with any requests that we had, and catered for all the different dietary needs in such a way that everyone had a similar version of the main menu, without feeling too left out. Even very odd last minute dietary need they managed to fix without any hassle.
They were very communicative the whole time, especially running up the big day, responding very quickly even if late at night.
Initially we didn't know what we wanted, but after a conversation with James, he got to know us, our backgrounds, and what we like, he then came up with a delicious sounding menu right off the bat on the same phone. It really made us confident that we would choose them to be our caterers.
Overall we were very happy with hiring Paxton and Brown, wouldn't haven't changed one thing, and would be happy to work with them again in future.

Ever since we signed them up the whole process was incredibly stress free. There are so many things I was impressed with;
- The wedding tasting at home. Gave you such a great glimpse at how amazing the food was going to be and a lovely thing to do.
- Henny's attention to detail and organisation from start to finish. There isn't one thing she doesn't think of and it really puts your mind at rest.
- We wanted to use meat from my brothers farm and it was never an issue for the team - cooked to perfection and the sharing feats was a great way to showcase meat.
- Last but no means least, James and his teams amazing cooking. Our guests are still talking about the food now and many of them commented saying it was 'The best wedding food they have ever had!!'
