I have used the services of Payless for… Storage

I have used the services of Payless for Storage for a couple of years.
They are easy to access and use. The service is both extremely friendly and helpful.
The facility appears to be extremely secure .
I would not hesitate to recommend their services.

Do not use this company!!!

Do not use this company!!!! You have to pay £50 deposit for the lock and now I have moved out they are dodging my calls to refund. They also owe a refund of a months rent which they seem to think it’s funny to block calls at pass you around. Seriously give this ‘family company’ a miss.

Mould on my furniture after using pay less for storage …

I put my all my furniture into storage at Pay for less storage for over 3 years, I was told that my furniture would be perfectly fine. When I finally took my furniture out, most of my wooden furniture was black with mould, a lot of lampshades and material items were the same. After a lot of washing and scrubbing the furniture still smell of mould and unfit to use. I have been in touch with owner only to be told he had no idea why this has happened, that it couldn’t be the containers fault that he’s checked it and it’s dry, but how do I know it was dry in the first place.
He has told me I have no come back or claim on my furniture.
I have now learnt that I should of been told the right information about storage
Before putting my furniture into a storage unit. None of the following information was give .....
Make sure your storage unit is properly ventilated. Regularly check moisture levels in your storage facility. Keep your belongings as well as your storage unit clean and dry. Use desiccant or charcoal as well as plastic wrap and blankets to stave off any moisture.
Not only have I have paid a lot of money over the last 3 years for storage I’ve now had to replace a lot of my items.
Please think twice in putting your items into pay less storage containers.
