Very intrusive and unprofessional
I opened a Payset business account and on my first transaction they demanded access to my private client communications, even after I provided a detailed invoice and full company info. When I explained this would breach confidentiality/NDAs, I was basically told to comply “by the end of the day” or they’d terminate my account.
As a business owner, I found their tone rude and their demands excessive. I’ve withdrawn my funds and asked them to close the account.

In your case we were unable to obtain the information needed to complete the required verification. As a result, and in line with our regulatory obligations, we returned the funds to the original sender and closed the account.

Unfair and Unprofessional Account Rejection Very Disappointed with Payset
My experience with Payset has been extremely disappointing.
After submitting a complete and fully compliant application to open a business account for my UK registered company, I was surprised to receive a rejection email without any clear reason.
My company works legally and transparently in the field of AI automation services, and all documents I provided were valid, accurate, and up to their standards. Yet, despite this, Payset rejected my application and simply stated that it was due to “internal policies,” without offering any explanation or a chance to clarify or provide additional information.
It is very unprofessional to reject legitimate business applications with no justification. A serious financial institution should be transparent, especially when declining a fully eligible company.
Instead of giving a real reason, they redirected me to another service provider. This creates the impression that Payset is filtering applications automatically or applying inconsistent internal rules, causing unnecessary delays and wasting applicants’ time.
I expected much better from a company claiming to support global businesses. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I hope Payset improves its onboarding process, transparency, and communication with potential clients.
