I really like the concept and idea, but the uploads are terribly slow. It’s definitely not an issue with my network or system, as every other app uses the bandwidth appropriately. I have a 600/300Mbps fiber connection which is super stable. Despite this, the maximum upload speed I achieve is 1-2 MB/s. I've tried uploading through various methods including browsers, Windows, and Total Commander, but no luck. The lifetime deal is a scam.

pCloud Pass has no auto-fill option for OTP codes.
I would switch from NordPass, but without that their password service is not competitive enough.

The company has no bandwidth to handle customer problems. I was unable to login to the android app yesterday and reported this problem. However, the customer service did not have time to respond till I called their main office which is the sales office. I finally received a response that was not good enough. This was 6 hours back and I am following up with no response from their side. I am still waiting for them to respond. Till them all my data is locked out and I have decided that they should not be in this business. Getting back to Onedrive or google drive.

Loved it at first, but it is glitchy that you have to work around, it seems to only work reliably with Firefox anymore, tried on several windows pc's and the customer support is non existent. I will continue to use as I am a lifetime member but they really need to step up their customer service game.

On my Intel Mac (Ventura 13.2.1) I had a problem with the pCloud Drive Application V3.14 while syncing a real large amount of files (APP was unresponsive, spinning wheel, needed to be killed). A fresh install did not solve the issue. That's where the pcloud tech team started to sort out the issue: 1. I received instructions how to completely remove the app with all config files (no uninstaller) with a simple command line cmd. A clean new install was no remedy so phase 2 started after sending the log files which they analyzed for some days. They finally provided a fixed version of the pCloud Drive App which (up to now: 6 days of nearly non stop upload with max upload speed of 3,3Mb/s) solved the issue. The were constantly following up if the recommendations they gave me worked out. This is the type of support which could not be improved, thats why I give the max 5* rating in this case.

Super slow download and upload speeds, if that doesn't bother you then its cheap enough. Remember you get what you pay for I suppose.
Edit: So pCloud reached out to me , claiming they don't throttle speeds and it cant be on their end basically. No, everything else I use to upload or download is fine, it is 100% this service. Desktop app, webapp whatever. My settings are set to unlimited for download and upload speeds. Read other reviews around the web not just here, it's a known problem.

Coming from Dropbox pCloud is a disappointment!
Very slow upload rate. My Microsoft email that was linked to my pcloud account got blocked and they procedure for pcloud to change my email was so complicated and exaggerated that I will delete my account and go back to dropbox

I chose pCloud's 500GB lifetime plan for my family's storage needs. It's been wonderful not having to worry about monthly fees. We store photos, videos, and important documents, all easily accessible and secure.

For small businesses, pCloud's 2TB lifetime plan is a smart decision. The one-time payment frees you from the hassle of monthly bills. It's efficient, secure, and offers great capacity for all business-related storage.

With pCloud's 10TB plan, storage is never an issue. However, the interface isn't the most intuitive, especially for new users. Simplifying the navigation would make it more accessible.

pCloud offers a ton of storage space at a great price. I've stored years of work without any issues. The user interface is inutitive, making file management a breeze. It's a fantastic solution for anyone needing a lot of storage.

I begun using PCloud a number of years ago & with so much opportunity that came with it I was overwhelmed with how professional & effective the software is, and how understanding the customer service team is when dealing with questions & queries (only because I'm not 100% tech savvy). I would 100% recommend this system to make your day, plans & projects within your team pass smoothly & making the doings of running business so much sweeter.
Regards,
Adrian

As a freelancer. pCloud has been a game-changer. Easy access to files, regardless of where I am, and seamless integration with my workflow tools. It's affordable and reliable - exactly what I needed to stay organized and efficient.

I'm impressed with pCloud's streaming feature. Being able to stream music and videos directly from the cloud has freed up so much space on my devices. The playback is smooth, and the quality is great. This feature alone makes pCloud worth it!

I use the 500GB plan for family photos and documents. It's easy and secure, but the sorting options are limited. Enhanced sorting and categorization would make it more user-friendly for family use.

As a professional with tons of data, pCloud's 10TB lifetime plan is a lifesaver. The one-time payment model is cost-effective in the long run, and the service has been consistently reliable. Definitely worth it for serious users.

I would like to share my personal experience with everyone, and let this be a big waring before you decide to invest your money in Pcloud's services.
Pcloud looks like a pretty good service, especially when you look at the price for the lifetime subscription plan, it's tempting to get it. And so I did, too. 400 EUR seemed to be a good deal - after 4 years, it will pay off anyway.
In general, it works pretty well, although it does have quite a few bugs – slow upload speed, missing prioritization of files that are being uploaded, and mainly - you change the name of a folder that is synchronized on pCloud, your data will disappear (it happened to me a few times that all of a sudden my data was gone both from the cloud and my PC). And the most important thing – missing encryption! And another thing – if you decided, for example, to get the 2 TB space, you can’t later upgrade it. If you later decide to go for 10 TB, you will have to pay the full amount for that again.
Now guess what, after 4 years of using the lifetime plan (after paying 399 EUR) I’m sitting on my PC, uploading my photos from my last holiday, and all of a sudden I’m signed out of the app. I have no clue what is happening, but all of a sudden, without any warning or explanation, my account is locked. I received an automatic message that their automatic system detected files against their T&C. I have no idea what I (what file) caused that. I’m not aware of anything intentional. I wrote back to the helpdesk to only receive another automatic message – your account has been terminated. And the funny thing – this happened exactly 4 years after using the service. Exactly after 4 years – the period after which the investment into the lifetime plan becomes worth it. What a coincidence!!
I’m just glad that I at least got the 4 years, as you can search – there are many people who got block after just a few months of paying 400 EUR.
My fault (and a big lesson) was that I was not using encryption.
While some may not see my point and can say, "yeah, I don't upload anything suspicious, I use encryption etc. etc…. Yes, I thought so too. But here is the reality:
- Your data is not encrypted by default (I got a huge life lesson!) – you can pay it as an extra service, but then the problem is that your data will not be encrypted automatically, you always have to manually move them to your Encrypted folder – so not a really convenient synchronization
- Anytime they (their bot) decides to find something that it just assesses as suspicious, you will be blocked without any notice and chance to explain. Your money will be completely lost with no mercy. Think that this can happen anytime, it can found a youtube video that you downloaded, it can be a book, it can be a picture, it can be a document, maybe you mistakenly keep a photo of your nude girlfriend within the pCloud folder. Or you just named something in your PC the way that pCLoud didn’t like. This can happen, as you may not realize that you did it within your synchronized account. You ALWAYS have something stored that may look or sound controversial.
While I totally understand that there are the T&C of the company that I as a user need to follow, not knowing what I actually did against, and the fact that a random robot just basically decides about the destiny of my account and data, has just made me so upset, disappointed and frustrated!!!
It looks fine at first sign, but it is completely untrustworthy and insecure when you realize, and I strongly do NOT recommend to entrust your data to them. Would you give money and your data to a company that can terminate your account anytime they decide?
