SCAM

SCAM! I was charged 49,99 eur a week later after I pay 1,99 eur for one time convert to .pdf. I never agreed on such a deal that they can charge me after 7 days!!!

SCAMMERS !

I paid for only one pdf of 0,99 euros, and I was charged several months with 49,99 euros.

I sent an email to cancel my subscription and not get charged anymore on december 2023, and had no response from the support team, which is a shame.

I still can not join them and I am still charger each month, these people are scammers, and explicitely misinform the customers (which is illegal by the way) so they can steal your money.

If someone from the support team would finally want to answer me that would be great !

absolute scam artists

I want to share my recent troubling experience with these crooks. I initially made a one-off $1USD purchase, only to later discover later I was enrolled in a subscription without my knowledge. This resulted in four unauthorized charges of around $76 AUD each.

After noticing these charges, i cancelled the subscription I never signed up to, and i contacted PDF Master. I was refunded for three of these four payments within a couple of days, minus transaction fees. However, the fourth payment remained unrefunded.

When I reached out again about it, they blamed me, claiming I should have read their terms in an email and canceled the subscription. I refused to accept responsibility and continuously threatened to involve my bank, which I eventually did anyway.

Each support response from the crooks came from a seemingly different person, with fake profile photos, and some replies appeared automated. Their business model is clearly designed to exploit customers.

Additionally, my bank (CommBank) informed me of three other pending $76 charges attempted by PDF Master the day after I canceled, which they (my bank) are now handling.

When I approached PDF Master about these they said I must have set up another account and what was my PayPal email address and other card details. I wasn’t dumb enough to give them any more personal information, only the card number of the cancelled card. They asked for the email address linked to that card (which they obviously knew already) but I just played along to allow them to then pretend some kind of error had been made. They said that ‘it had now been cancelled’. Such BS.

PDF Master made me go back and forth, hoping I’d give up. Their lack of transparency and unethical practices make my blood boil.

Scam and stole my card information

Scam and stole my card information! My bank had to cancel my card and issue me a new one! I've never heard of this website before and never used their service before or even subscribed to it but they tried to take my money. I saw my bank transaction and it said they charged me 50 dollars but was declined due to insufficient balance (I don't use this card for purchases). if I had money in there they would have stolen it. I have no idea how they manage to get my entire card detail and how they can charge to my bank without any form of authorisation or otp. My bank immediately canceled the card and issuing me a new one. What the hell? Will make a police report. Because they definitely stole my card details and making fraudulent charge.

I searched the internet for a PDF solution to edit a PDF and found PDF Master. Unfortunately, you cannot do anything functional without giving a credit card. That was my mistake.

This is where they get you. Because life happens, you forget to cancel before the end of the trial they get their money.

Unethical companies like this prey upon people who forget to cancel their trials to make their money.

Want good pdf tools, use TinyWow. Just wish I had found TinyWow sooner.

Avoid like the plague - SCAM

Only giving this a 1 because I can’t score them zero. I don’t even remember signing up to these scammers. I just tried to use their service for a free PDF document. Next thing I know, I was charged £49.99 for a subscription I hadn’t take. Out and certainly didn’t agree to. I sent many emails and got standard copy & paste replies asking me to provide my bank details (no way) or a subscriber ID which didn’t exist.
They sent me a ‘welcome to PDF Master’ email to my gmail account but claim there is no reference to my gmail address anywhere.
Yesterday they charged me another £49.99 3 months later.
So basically they trick you in, start charging you. Then claim they can’t find your account to cancel it or refund it. Absolute scammers.

I’ve send you several emails complaining I never took your subscription, or agreeing to your terms of subscription. I never received a total amount, product list or billing letter at the end of the so called trial period.
I tried to cancel this so called subscription, after which you ensured me no more charges were to be made and yet several days later €381,- were withdrawn! Since January 2024 you’ve withdrawn a total €603,-!!!

This company scammed me for $75 AUD for…

This company scammed me for $75 AUD for a pdf that was supposed to be free. I did not subscribe to their service and they did not communicate with me to advise of the upcoming charge!!! I am fed up with these organizations who steal from customers for services they do not require on the basis of ‘sneaky subscriptions’.
They had the audacity to offer me lifetime membership for the fee they charged to my credit card. This is appalling business practice and I will take it up with the consumer watchdog here in Australia.
