My wee miniature shit zhu was very ill she hadn't eaten or drank water in two days and was limping really badly and the vet in the PDSA on the Antrim road was so helpful and reassuring and was able to tell me that my wee dog had hurt her shoulder badly and was in extreme pain and was given morphine and liquid paracetamol I can't thank the vet or staff enough for making me feel so at ease

Theyre amazing with my Chug. They never pressure to any contributions. The also understand if you cant pay there and then. But I do hope if you can atleast provide some money even £5/£10 is better than nothing
They do their absolute best! And are really helpful in explaining what will happen. The treatments. They gave my chug iv. Bloods. Fluids. Pain meds and we did £30 all together as we had just paid all our bills. They was still greatful no pressure. There's abit of wait sometimes but with a charity vets. Even if theyre busy and they feel you need to go down they'll even offer you same day appointments.

The pdsa staff are extremely professional in all that they do. They are kind caring and considerate there is nothing they won't do to make you or your pet feel at ease. If I could give them 100 out of 100 stars I would.

Very disappointing experience from the reception staff to the veterinary care.
My pet was left at the clinic all day, and in the end no surgery was performed. She was left sitting in her own poo and was not even given water or taken out for a toilet break. When they called me to collect her because they could not proceed with the surgery due to an emergency — which I completely understand can happen — the attitude and lack of compassion were disgraceful.
To make matters worse, the vet did not even know my pet’s gender.
Overall, the management, communication, and level of care shown to both pets and customers were extremely poor. This hospital urgently needs an investigation into how the management and staff are running and caring for animals entrusted to them.
The pdsa is caring for animals big & small they go out there way to help you with your pet at all times

PDSA to me seem to care more about your pets welfare and less about how much money they make from you. Going to a high street vet costs you more for a consultation and treatment. PDSA is a charitable organisation and should be helped more for pets that mean a lot to owners

This charity is amazing!
Twice now, they have been of great help, saving my pet’s life on one occasion.
PDSA provide quality veterinary care, with exceptional professionalism and empathy, for incredible value (or even for free!) for those in society who find themselves at a disadvantage.
It is difficult to overstate how important this is.
Veterinary care is an industry where there are sadly many commercial interests nowadays, more focused on profit than quality care, who suggest unnecessary procedures and charge eye-watering prices.
Meanwhile, many people who find themselves disabled struggle a great deal with the inadequate support provided by the government.
They find themselves isolated and lonely, and gain a great deal of comfort and reassurance from the constant presence of their pets.
Losing them would be devastating - and for many, when trying to live off £380 a month, taking on thousands of pounds in debt to pay for veterinary care is simply not an option.
For those in this situation, this charity is one of the few options available, and for me, they have come through every time, on the telephone, or in person.
If you have the resources and you’re a person who cares for animals and believes in the benefits they can have for their owners, I’d strongly suggest that you consider supporting this charity!
A big thank you to everyone at PDSA for all the help ❤️
