He just ghosted me :(

I cannot really say anything about his work and his skill, although I would really like to. But we never got the chance to work together.
Michael was recommended to me by a former member of the Danish Cycling Union. I am based in Finland so I emailed him once, telling him what it was my first goal (figuring out whether the frame that I was riding was the right size or not). He replied to me with quite a delay (after I sent the same message via facebook messenger) and he asked me how we would like to start: whether we wanted to have a skype call or other. I replied that for this first assessment either an evaluation via email or via a video call it would have been fine, and I provisionally provided the measurements of my current setup and asked him about the rates for his consultancy and help (I have a budget).
I didn't receive any reply at all from him in one month. I also try to recontact him via email (perhaps the previous email got lost or in the spam) but still nothing.
Perhaps he thought I wanted that first evaluation for free but I let him know now that it wasn't the case and anyway he could have let me know that by replying.
Being ghosted is never nice when you are the object of that. If as a business you ghost a possible client it is rude and unprofessional
