LEJOG Sept 2022
We completed LEJOG with pedal nation. It was our first cycle holiday usually preferring to do self organised trips but we felt the route was so long that for our first attempt we’d prefer to be in a group who could give us a break from the logistics and not worry about whether we had enough snacks each day. Having our luggage taken from place to place was a luxury.
The driver and guides couldn’t do enough to make sure you had a gd time. They were flexible with start times if people wanted to leave earlier and where possible they booked evening meals so that we could eat together if we wanted to.
Accomodation ok. Routes stunning especially through Lake District over Kirkstone pass and into Scotland via Glencoe. Occasionally routes could have stayed on more direct not busy roads. However the attempt to use cycle paths was appreciated.
Price was very reasonable especially for collection and drop off of bikes. Would use them again.
