Unsatisfactory other logistics are better than pedivan.

The company's management is unprofessional and unethical. They have given themselves 5-star reviews from themselves, friends, family or colleagues they favourite while ignoring the many safety hazards and poor working conditions. The company claims to be emission-free, but they charge hundreds of batteries per day who they give to selective colleagues while the others are only doing deliveries ( where is the EQUALITY) and there is no evidence of their carbon footprint being offset. The company also claims to train staff in manual handling, but there are no documents or certifications to prove this. The company has a passive-aggressive management style and does not prioritize the safety of its staff. They are discriminative to people of all backgrounds unless they are from Hungary. There is no seating area for staff to eat lunch, and they are not provided with helmets or other safety equipment. The company also discriminates against staff from all ethnicity apart from their own and threatens to cut their salaries if they are late to deliveries. The company does not provide adequate clothing for staff working in the rain, and they are expected to work long hours in dangerous conditions. The company's practices are exploitative and unethical, and they should not be allowed to operate in the UK. Being self employed means you can work at your own hours but they want you to work at there timings, There are far better logistics companies offering better pay grades and actually adhering to their staff as well as genuinely taking care of them and their needs. Management also consume Alcohol while they are working very unprofessional.

Appalling establishment.

Firstly, Dani (head of operations), Laszlo (manager) and Rafal (mechanic) all have given their own company 5 star reviews. That's not how reviews work unfortunately. The lack of professionalism at this establishment is unacceptable. They claim to be emission free, yet they charge 200+ batteries a day 24hrs a day. They think a catchy slogan about emissions miraculously covers their carbon footprint. I only wonder how TFL gave them a tender for their contract. They recently had to have a surveyor come in as, even though they had been there for years, they had many many safety hazards that needed to be addressed before TFL came in to review their company. So all that time my life has been at risk due to no fire exit, no safety measurements, no fire hazard equipment etc. The workers are very much treated as disposable. There isn't even a seating area to eat your lunch. The management is passive aggressive and it is clear that they have no experience in that field. They claim to train staff in manual handling with no documents to certify it. Only a picture chart on the wall with instructions. I had worked there around 3 months and asked for a helmet to be provided with no avail whatsoever. Safety of their staff is not a priority at all. There are 2 duties there: Delivering parcels or changing batteries on lime bikes. They have riders who make up to 6k a month doing only batteries. This leaves the parcel delivery staff with no chance to make even a fraction of that. Many times I had asked to do batteries to make a little extra but they make sure to pack on deliveries so you have no chance. The staff that were there from the beginning only get that luxury. Any staff from Hungary get a special race based treatment which is appalling to see in my multi diverse London! They threaten to cut your salary (not even a couple quid, I'm talking £20-£30 per trip) if you are late to a delivery in the ever so busy, traffic congested streets of London. Ultimately leaving you with no choice but to run red lights just to save your pay. The inequality in this establishment is absolutely disgusting and a cause for concern. A human being should not be riding an electric trike for 8hrs a day. The potholes and uneven riding space will eventually take its toll on your vertebrae and hip bones. They provide a semi waterproof jacket in a country that has quite heavy rain and you are expected to carry on a shift with fully soaked clothes which could certainly lead to hypothermia. In summary, this is a company that should be very carefully reviewed if their contract is to be extended as I believe they shouldn't exist in a country like the UK because their practises do not meet the high level standards of this country. The labour can be compared to that of a sweat shop. They may argue this with their £12 per hour pay however as a previous employee I can hand on heart say that even £100 an hour isn't enough to do such dog work. Beatrix is not equipped to manage any staff at all. Take a prince2 management course and maybe you can live up to the high level standards expected in the UK.

Best courier company I've worked for

I started working for Pedivan last November, and having worked for multiple courier/delivery companies in the past, my experience here has been the best by a long shot. Shifts are flexible, we’re paid bi-monthly and there’s enough work to go round - you can even continue working swapping Lime batteries once your day of normal deliveries has been completed, which is perfect for anyone looking to save up. Management are attentive and are quick to solve any problems that arise during deliveries - and when it rains heavily we’re often advised to take a break out of the rain while still being on the clock. We mainly deliver corporate lunches, flowers and swap Lime batteries, and you’re able to give your preference on what you’d prefer to do, and on which kind of bike (2 and 3 wheelers are available). Their fleet of bikes are kept in great condition as they’re serviced regularly by in-house mechanics. There’s a fun, relaxed working environment while back at base, but I also enjoy my independence while out delivering while listening to music on my speaker. I’m enjoying the work and as I often travel long-term have been told I can come back to work any time, which suits my lifestyle perfectly. I’m looking forward to years working together with them in the future. Thanks!

Pedivan are excellent!

Pedivan have been excellent partners to work with. Daniel and Bea are our main contacts and have gone above and beyond their duties to make sure our food is delivered safely and promptly. They have both been exemplary in their communication, professionalism, and efficiency in dealing with our goods. Our customers have also been complimentary of their service, and all riders have been well mannered and competent. Big thanks to Mate and Benji for their hard work. Looking forward to continuing this successful partnership into the future :) John

This company provides great service every time I order. I receive every packages on time to my door within a short period of time. Delivery guys were really friendly and take special care during the delivery. If you would like to receive your smaller, bigger parcels with zero emission, same day delivery choose them!
