The pen is very sturdy. The case is made of metal. I received a sample pen from another company that was made of plastic, but the same design. The metal pen has a much better feel and makes you think you have a quality pen. However, the ink is not smooth. It comes out chunky, fades when writing, and feels like effort to use it. The sample plastic pen from the other company writes smooth and glides effortlessly across the page. Too bad we can't put the two high quality portions together and make one great pen!

We purchase pens, hats and cups as promotional items. We want our company to be associated with qualty so we want our promotional items to reflect that as well. These pens are well suited for that purpose.

A little disappointed the size of the script on the pen. Earlier pans and a little larger script which is much easier to read.
