If I could give 0 stars I would! Terrible company. Many many mistakes & not even a sorry. Causing me a disabled lady no end of stress & doing half the job myself! Can’t speak to anyone to help! I’m changing companies, had enough now!
Waste of time
Despite numerous problems in the past this company continues to defy expectations of dreadfulness. The staff dealing with me are innumerate and lacking in common sense. I don't know why they are being paid. I have had to recalculate all their wages which were out by thousands! Never get replies to complaints either

If I could give this company no stars believe me I would! Awful! Never pay P.As, time and effort to chase is ridiculous...why are local authorities still using this payroll company and why is this company still operating with such poor/zero customer service!
Repeated failure to pay my PA
I am paying a cut of my Direct Payments to People Plus, for them to manage my PA's payroll. The service provided is completely unacceptable and I suspect illegal.
- They have failed to pay my PA on at least 4 occasions in the past 18 months and are evasive when I try to rectify this.
- I requested to change provider 4.5 months ago and they are being obstructive about this, withholding my data and refusing to action the transfer.
- They repeatedly refuse to give me a phone number for payroll staff, so my only option is to spend 2hrs on hold, only to be cut off. They also ignore emails.
- They ignore complaints submitted via their formal complaint procedure.
I decided to use this company to handle payroll because of my disability. However the work it has taken me to attempt to rectify their mistakes has far outweighed the labour saved. They have caused me considerable stress and worsened my health condition. My PA is resigning because of repeated failure to be paid by them.
Absolutely disgraceful, should not be awarded contracts at Local Authorities.

SHOCKING COMPANY sick to death of pa's not being paid on time spending hours on hold on the phone with no answer . Don't answer emails all they do is cause me distress. My personal assistants have threatened to leave there employment with me AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Camden council transferred over direct payment support to this utter joke of a “ support “ service.
So far over 20 minutes on hold to try to speak to someone. It’s utterly appalling, that they do this to disabled and elderly people who are in receipt of care.
They keep trying to direct you to the internet, they clearly have no clue about disability and elderly needs.
Many disabled and elderly people need help to access the internet, or simply can afford it.
They need to provide a proper phone service as PISC did. Camden did this with no consultation of the service users. It’s a disgrace.

My experience is the same as everyone else’s….. I suggest that everyone does the same as me and contact the press. They have not kept a single promise they made, tbh the people who work for them have substandard intelligence, say anything over the phone. Yet when i asked for written confirmation…nothing…. They have owed me money for over a month, that they promised would be paid in 3 to 5 days over a month ago, nobody answers calls or takes responsibility. The whole thing is a joke! PPpayroll continues to make errors, and mishandle employers accounts.
I raised a complaint in December, they have not responded.
They introduced a payroll system that I believe is in breach of equality and diversity regulations, without any consultation with me as an employer.
As an employer I now have no direct contact with the service I pay for.
I asked for a call back over these specific issues, they have not responded
Appalling company
Appalling company. As a PA I cannot remember a time when I have been paid on time, usually 1-2 weeks late, the record is 8 weeks late! Today is 19/1/23, still waiting for my Christmas pay. As a PA I no longer accept clients that deal with Peopleplus because I am sick and tired of being paid MY wages late (not clients fault). If you ever get to speak to someone you get different excuses and often these excuses contradict excuses you have been given by someone else.
How this company is allowed to deal with vulnerable peoples finances I will never know.
AVOID this company at all costs.
Awful Payroll
Don't pay on time, for ever chasing payslips, wrong tax, and don't inform their clients of pay deadline date changes from scheduled dates! Poor communication, response to email and Form queries. PAs are held to ransom as they don't want to leave their employer, but if pay and payroll are continually a battle then it often leaves no choice. PAs in direct payment contracts are usually the very low paid barely scraping a minimum wage. In this current time, we need to work, but also get paid correctly. People Plus are very poor and are putting the health and wellbeing of both the employer and employee at risk!

If there was a minus 10 that would be my star! A completely unorganised, unhelpful company I have unfortunately come across. If, if you can get them on the phone what ever comes out of their mouth is lies. They will never email or phone back and pay when it suits them. We work hard for our money but that means nothing to this company. I would never recommend them to anyone not even an alien.

This is the worst organisation I have ever had to deal with. Trying to get through to them is near impossible. They have recently launched a new platform to divert calls and emails. They manage a direct payment service and just don’t care if people don’t get paid on time. My son’s PA should have been paid 11/11 there was a query and today 24/11 she still had not been paid. I can’t get through on the phone (they don’t answer calls) and all you get is go to the website - which I did originally!! They really have no comprehension of customer service. #1073

These guys are picking on mental health patients who are signed off from work, no idea how to properly speak with people in this position. Classic gaslighting. I've had my mother call me suicidal based off the correspondence she had with one of the representatives at PeoplePlus.

Absolutely disgrace of a company paid 5 days late u can’t speak to anyone on the phone as soon as your number 1 they cut you off. then they didn’t pay me my back pay money when they finally paid it it was only half of what I was owed I’ve sent over 20 emails nobody has replied and nobody has answered the phone. I’ve been in touch with another company to take payroll on but you have to give people plus notice but you can’t do that cause you can’t speak to anyone.I’ve put 5 complaints in but nobody gets back to you about it so nothing gets done

Shocking we don’t get paid on time or receive wage slips when we do get paid it’s always been inputted incorrectly so we end up being paid short. Nobody responds to complaints by email and you can’t phone because you hang on for over an hour then they put the phone down. Would give 0 but option not available they definitely don’t deserve 1star

Total disgrace, GETTING GOVERNMENT TO INVESTIGATE they take your money to pay your PA but never pay them on time, and I'm sending the sheets on time. My first PA left me because of it and she is still waiting on 2 payments. My new PA started on the 01ft of August and still waiting for a first payment.
No even mentioning calling them.
