Pepper Money has been fantastic from start to finish. The team made the entire mortgage process smooth, clear, and stress‑free. Communication was excellent, every question was answered quickly, and they consistently went the extra mile to help. I’m genuinely impressed with their service and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a supportive, reliable mortgage provider.

Never received anything formal in writing from Pepper with my account number when I took it out (I went through a broker). I am now 3 weeks after my fixed interest-only rate ended, and they have yet to notify me of the new interest rate and payments. They sent a letter dated a week after the fixed rate ended, which had a payment amount for "illustration purposes only". It is against industry standards and probably breaches FCA guidelines since they did not confirm the new rate before the old ended, and therefore I could not switch the mortgage before the new term started. I was also never informed by the broker that it was only interest-only for the first year. I had asked for an interest only mortgage

Flexible approach to credit impaired cases. Easy to speak to someone regarding my case. Phones are answered quickly. Thought the valuation fees were a little on the high side especially for an exiting client. The website was a little slow when loading. But apart from that everything was ok

It was a very good experience, Ewan was very proactive and quick updates were much appreciated and even assisted with pushing for valuation to accept the property. Its a breath of fresh air to feel that a lender wants to lend as opposed to finding any excuse to say no.
