I've given this review 4* purely because of the quality of the Pergolux product. It is a superbly engineered piece of kit and, if it wasn't for the awful service we received from the UK arm of Pergolux, it would have been 5*. Pergolux UK I'd give 1*.
Think very carefully before ordering in the UK, unless you are in no hurry to receive your pergola. We placed our order 4th August, paid the final invoice on the 14th November on the advice that they finally had the product and it was ready to be shipped, but didn't receive it until 4th December. Along the way we had numerous promises about delivery and excuses for why it didn't happen. When it did get shipped by Pergolux, their delivery agents AIT/Panther failed to deliver on the due date due to a vehicle problem and it took a further 12 days for them to complete the delivery. Pergolux appeared to be totally incapable of exerting any influence on them to speed this up.
And to add salt to the wound, when it was unpacked it was discovered that a critical component was missing, but more of that later.
I've no idea what the setup is at Pergolux UK, the staff members you speak to appear to be very friendly and claim they are doing the best they can, but try to speak to the CEO and there is stony silence. The parent company need to be made aware of the inadequacies of their UK operation as it reflects badly on their (excellent) product and it certainly spoilt the pergola buying experience for us. I did send an email to the CEO of the Norwegian parent company, but no response to this.
We would have gone elsewhere if we had known what we were letting ourselves in for.
So, to the product itself. We have a 3x5m S2 wall mount pergola with two 3m side screens and a 5m front screen. It's a very well engineered product, substantial and utilises top quality components. We are very pleased now that it is finally up and are looking forward to it improving our garden experience next summer.
The installation was carried out by MHeavenLtd and I cannot fault their service. I had to cancel a booking with them when the pergola did not arrive on the due date and they took this in their stride. They very quickly arranged a second date when we finally did get it and, after a 3 hour drive to get to us, they discovered within half an hour that the wall mounting brackets were missing, so could do nothing and set off for home again. Pergolux will have had to foot the bill for this wasted journey. A week later and they were back again and this time all went well. Three very efficient guys assembled it in less than 4 hours. I'm glad I didn't attempt it myself, they had all the kit, including laser levelling gear and had the experience to ensure it went up without a hitch. I'd like to thank them for a great job.
So, summing up, Pergolux product superb, MHeaven brilliant, AIT hopeless, Pergolux UK operation needs to review it's customer service.

review updated for fairness 19/12: After further contact with customer services, ongoing supply issues with series 1 Pergolux accessories appears to be resolved, informed screens now available in the warehouse and will be sent to me in the new year. Hopefully customer services will improve to keep customers in the loop for stock issues that remain ongoing, that would avoid much frustration.
The core Pergolux product is definitely worth the investment and hopefully once the screens are received it will just further heighten our use and enjoyment of the pergola. It is definitely the statement we wanted in our garden.

I bought the Pergolux Sundream S2 to go over my hot-tub. A great quality product, competitively priced and with great service. I did have a couple of problems (largely of my own making) and the Pergolux after sales service and technical advice were excellent in sorting them for me. An easy 5 stars. Wouldn’t recommend. Have been waiting since May for the correct guttering - have a product we cannot use properly in a rainy part of the U.K.
Awful communication. Confirmed they’d send out replacement parts and get fitted in August - still waiting. Product not fit for purpose as a result and cost a small fortune. A real shame as I’m sure it’s a great product when it has the correct parts.
Woeful company with non-existent customer service. Trading standards the next step for us. After a year of illness for our family, Pergolux has added stress that is simply unnecessary and could have been avoided.

Very good service.customer services called with date when goods would be delivered.delivery company called the day before and text message with 4 hour window.the delivery crew placed the goods exactly were I asked them too hassle free. This is a fantastic piece of kit,waterproof and sturdy,drainage system very good.also bought screens ( keeps the wind out ) and heater ( very warm) you will not be disappointed if you buy this pergola

UPDATE: We received the completed order in early December and it is now installed on our patio. Obviously we haven't had much use out of it yet but are looking forward to spring 2025. It has withstood several storms and seems to be very solidly built and user friendly. Since the original review, we received very good customer service communication from Pergolux and a few freebies to make up for the wait. If they can sort out whatever is causing such massive delays with their delivery times (or at least let customers know what to expect at the point of sale), they'll be a 5* company all round.
ORIGINAL REVIEW
We ordered a Pergolux Sundream pergola on June 13th 2024, with an expected delivery date of 3-5 business days, per the company website.
The short version of this story is that as of November 6th - 5 MONTHS after we spent nearly £10,000 with this company, we have neither received our pergola nor a refund.
We have been given the runaround by the customer service team several times. The head of UK operations has been involved and, while very apologetic about the long delays and a lot of sob stories about production delays, he has stopped responding to our emails and given us no updates since September 12.
They promise we'll love the pergola once we receive it but really... is it worth waiting 5 months for? Doubtful. I will update this review when we finally hear back from Pergolux.

Pergolux were very helpful when we visited their showroom and also when I ordered our pergola. Both times we were advised delivery would in September, which we were happy with. However, we were not kept up informed and I had to chase them for information about a delivery date. When it did eventually arrive at the very end of September by chance I realised 2 parcels were missing and again I had to chase and it took over a week to get them. This pushed back the installation until the end of October.
We had Matthew Heaven's team install it and we would recommend them. They were polite, tidy and efficient.
We are pleased with our pergola but delivery process has let Pergolux down on this occasion, hence 4 stars.

Great product and customer service from Pergolux. Very pleased with the quality especially when there are so many similar products. Highly recommend Matthew Heaven and his installation team - not sure it would be worth us even trying to erect when you see how effortless Matthew’s team put the pergola together.
Couple of observations - the cable supplied with the controller is very short and I understand the same applies with the heater (still awaiting delivery). Fortunately installation team had a spare controller on their van as this has not been supplied (anticipate it will be supplied with the heater and lights when delivered) but (ideally) required for erection of pergola.

I deliberated for a long time about this purchase due to the expense but I am so happy with the it.
I compared lots of different options with other companies but kept coming back to this one.
They answered all my questions quickly and we used the fitters they recommended - MHeaven, who did a great job & made the overall experience very simple.
Love sitting outside in all weathers now and look forward to using it year round

This is an update to my previous review for pergolux:
31/10/24 After a number of issues I finally got my pergola and heater, the uk manager was very helpful on sorting things, follow the delivery and making sure we will be satisfied. We also got a compensation for the waiting time and the issues which is very appreciated plus a great customer service. We can see is a company that cares of they customers as well as their reputation (something not easy to find nowadays) and good to see.
The pergola is great quality and we are very happy with it. Perfect addition to our back garden

we bought it and paid for it in July… since then it has been back ordered, problems with scheduling transport from their end, , and now three missed deliveries!! Same issues as every one posts,
Today as on 24/10/24 we have not received our pergola, we have wasted a lot of time on calls and emails and we wish we had bought from another company and had it on summer
Great product, we use our pergola every day! It’s perfect for extra space for the kids, and the glass keeps the wind out nicely. We can even use it in the Autumn with the heater on. Steph and Mercy were super helpful, great advice and answered all our questions quickly.
