Mike cooked my family and I an incredible meal to celebrate a 30th birthday & a recent engagement! It was a fantastic meal from start to finish. We had canapes start, followed by 4 course meal which was inclusive of a trio of dessert. During the menu selection Mike listened to all our requirements and customised an amazing menu from scallops and lobsters to a fillet of beef from the Cotswolds. The beef is hands down one of the best steaks I've ever had, better than steak restaurants in London. Thank you again for an incredible meal, will definitely keep in touch for the next special occasion :)

Mike prepared the most outstanding food for us on our tasting menu evening. Each dish was beautifully constructed and tasted as good as it looked. We could totally relax as Mike and his team made sure everything was taken care of, providing crockery and leaving a spotless kitchen afterwards. We are delighted to have discovered you Mike, and thank you very much again for a wonderful evening. We hope to have another dinner again soon!

I would not hesitate to recommend your service to anyone, a pleasure to deal with, dietary requirements were not a problem and the food and service was first class throughout.

We had the tasting menu on Saturday 22nd Feb 2020 for 10 people. Thanks to Mike it was everything and more than what we were expecting. Right through the whole experience from help choosing the menu, to how to lay out the table Mike was there to help and guide us through. On the day the food that was served was exceptional and with some big eaters the portion sizes catered for everyone even though we were having a fine dining experience. I can't recommend Mike enough if you want that something special to enjoy, experience and to wow your guests. Well done Mike and we will definitely be using your services again.

We have used Mike a couple of times now and we will most certainly be using his services again, our last meal was for New Years Eve and the food was excellent.

We just had the most incredible evening thanks to Michael's wonderful cooking and our lovely waiter Michael who couldn't do enough for us.
It was a faultless evening. Michael's menu was sublime, he even provided the crockery and cutlery which made things so easy for us. If you're thinking of doing something like this look no further, I would never have thought to have a private chef at my house but after winning this at an auction I would ask Michael back as a regular fixture and all our friends and family felt the same. A truly magic experience.

What can I say but pure perfection and one fantastic evening. Michael and his partner Caroline gave us the most wonderful evening with food just out of this world, love everything about it, from the ease of their arrival with everything in hand even down to cutlery and plates, the presentation, the taste, the service - we won this at a charity auction and would certainly bid again or have Michael and Caroline back!

This was the first time we had engaged the services of a private chef for a dinner party. From the initial request the communication and understanding of our requirements was exceptional. Mike is a very talented chef and his menu was outstanding. We added a waiter to the party and he enabled both my wife and I to relax from the minute our guests arrived, professionally serving them with freshly cooked canapes and champagne and then expertly delivering the very fine 6 courses cooked by Mike to our table. The kitchen was left immaculate and we had no cleaning up to do, i will be using Mike's services again and can highly recommend him to others.

I booked Chef Michael for a family lunch in the comfort of our own home. Chef was very organised. We spoke beforehand about special diets and the set up, and he arrived promptly on the day well prepared.

The meal was delicious with everybody going home full and talking about the tasty chicken sauce and light berry mousses. I opted for a server, Michael, who was a delight and added wonderfully to the whole experience.

Chef Michael offered a great experience and even provided child friendly versions of some dishes so the babies could join in (thank you).

Highly recommend.

Mike Fishpen and his team catered a beautiful business dinner for twelve in our home.From the time that we made the booking they were professional and a pleasure to deal with. On the day of the dinner they were impeccably well organised finally leaving an immaculately clean and tidy kitchen in the evening. The dinner was delicious. The beef was cooked exactly as we like it and we had a wonderful trio of deserts. The serving staff were polite, friendly and willing to go the extra mile when needed.Overall this was an excellent experience which we would not hesitate to repeat on another occasion.

We received excellent service from start to finish from Micheal and also his head waiter. They arrived on time and with little fuss produced an outstanding 6 course taster meal for 10 of our family.
The head waiter was amazing, making sure our table was laid perfectly and filling our glasses up all evening. Everything was washed and cleaned up at the end of the meal leaving us to relax and enjoy the evening. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. Absoloutely amazing. Deserves 5 stars !!

What a night!! we had the best night ever with Mike and his waiter Michael. The food was amazing, all cooked at our home, presented and served beautifully with much care and attention to the smallest of detail. on top of that the evening was great fun as Mike introduced each course. in the kitchen he was fun to talk to and has a great sense of humour and the banter between him and the waiter Michael was priceless.
A great evening that I can't wait to repeat.

Michael delivered top class food and service to a group of eight. We liked the course introductions. He was also very helpful on wine selection.

Mike delivers the most outstanding dinner! From the planning of your dinner, Mike supports, guides and then wow’s you with his outstanding culinary delights. We have had Mike cook for us a few times and would not hesitate to recommend him. Professional, mouth watering, presentation second to none and then so clean you wouldn’t know anyone has been in your kitchen. My guests yet again we’re overwhelming by an amazing evening by Mike.
