Had some issues being able to get my password reset then information updated. I had to reach out to customer support and Kelsey got back to me and helped me out without any issues!!!

Waiting on this service is horrible. I have been living in a motel and I had to put my things into storage waiting on their approval. Paying additional money that you don’t have because you’re waiting on approval is ridiculous. I am writing to my city councilman in request to look into this matter and services to if this is necessary when you have documentation of shot records and prescriptions documents making your pet ESA. I shouldn’t have be homeless waiting on a pet approval who will recompense me for my experience.

Not a fun company to work with. Most the time you can avoid them. Make you jump
Through lots of hoops when only need a letter from your therapist or doctor verifying the animal. As someone moving states and switching therapists making it way too hard. Probably going to lose the house we wanted because of all the time it took for our back and forth.

Stephanie was a huge help! She quick sorted my self caused issue due to multiple email addresses. Big thanks for the assistance.

You have to jump through so many hoops. If people didn't have mental health issues before dealing with this they definitely do now. Doesn't need to be this difficult or cost somebody so much money just to prove their head helps them with their Mental Heslth.

Pretty much impossible to cancel the account on the site. I haven't been at the screened property for years, and I can't get them to stop charting me which is messed up.

They don't trust your information and make you have to go to your apartment management and tell them your private health information. It is widely known apartment managers look for anyway to discriminate against people. This pet screening service makes you prove every year you are disabled or meet accommodation request like you are a liar. They also claim not to know the address of where you live further upsetting you and holding up the process.
If you can find a rental not owned by a company that requires valet, proof of your trauma, yearly renewal increases, third party insurance, third party pet screening, etc try to go with that rental. Rentals that require you to pay high rent as well as get third party approvals and confirmations will create additional stress in your life.
At some point when the country is no longer corrupt, federal authorities will be contacted to investigate the use of third party companies to get around housing discrimination laws. This company's practices will be the model of the legal question: Can entities that provide housing rentals negate federal housing laws by using third party companies who only operate via email and have access to confidential tenant information that can later be sold or used to further discrimination against the tenant? Second legal question: are rental property managers complicit in the discrimination of tenants when they hire companies that lack attorneys in staff to properly interpret laws that protect the rights of individuals related to housing and their privacy data under HIPAA?

Company borderline works as a scam. Lazy property managers use them to make it easier for them. Petscreening profits off of selling your information and works hard to deny ESA benefits. There is a class action lawsuit brewing here and I hope this company goes under for the amount of stress and information that it requires from you. I absolutely hate. HATE everything about them and the way they operate. I rather would go through the DMV.
Any positive reviews are likely from Landlords because no sane person would enjoy using them

Great business for both pet and/or ESA owners and rental properties. Smooth screening and approval process. Great customer support.

The business model is not really based on helping pet owners but having pet owners pay to disclose information so it can be sold. Terrible service for customers, great profits for the company.
One would query how many fake 5 star reviews may have been posted while real users post 1 star reviews, Odd that there are NO 2, 3 or 4 star reviews, isn't it?

I want to highlight the excellent service I received today from Jennifer through the Petscreening platform. Her support was exceptional—kind, clear, and efficient. She guided me through the process with patience and professionalism, and truly made a difference.
Beyond the customer service, Petscreening is a game-changer for apartment residents with pets, especially those with emotional support animals or service animals. This platform ensures a fair, transparent, and respectful process for everyone involved, helping create more inclusive and well-managed housing communities.
I highly recommend Petscreening to both property managers and residents. And if you’re lucky enough to be helped by Jennifer, you’ll understand exactly what I mean!

Terrible service. No customer service number extremely slow email response time. I have no pets and they're auditing me when I literally don't live in the property anymore. Would never use again. Also not even accredited by the BBB. Untrustworthy company.

These types of companies add no value. They contract with apartment and condo managers, but the tenants pay the bill. They are expensive and take up a lot of time. You need to set up an account, scan pictures and vaccine documents and they only respond by email. My pets had 3-year Distemper shots and after one year they said the vaccines had expired. When I emailed them back then they said I needed to fill out a service ticket. So now I have to pay these yearly fees for them to make mistakes and I have to do all the work to fix it. This company adds cost and no value. One star is too generous here.

SCAM / PHISHING / DATA COLLECTOR
I don't know how PetScreening, Inc. got my address, but I keep getting unsolicited emails about needing to do this. I don't live at the property it says I do and there is no way to opt-out of the service or unsubscribe from the emails.
According to their own website petscreening.com will collect money to maintain your profile even when you aren't living in an apartment if you have a pet. An empty service to collect your money needlessly.
On the FAQ page, under "I did not move into the property or I no longer live there" the only option is to create a profile just to delete it. There is no privacy statement saying it will delete your information upon request and nothing in the FAQ says your info will be deleted.
Edit in response to the reply from PetScreening below: I am not a customer and did not consent to participate. Nothing in this canned cut and paste response addresses the procurement of personal information, data privacy, or promises to remove me from your list. The lack of anything from them about privacy seems especially concerning because how will people with service animals know their information which might technically be protected from HIPAA won't be sold off to other companies or be otherwise protected from hacking?

I am so upset, I have been forced to use Pet screening for over 3 years now by my property management and their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced! There is no phone number only an email which only gives you automated responses which they take their sweet time to even do that. I cannot get ahold of a real person for real answers and I am furious. Horrible company!!

The company manipulates you into selecting to opt in to "sharing my personal information...with brands so that they can provide me with information regarding offers, products and/or services that may be of interest to me." So basically, not only is it a rip off that changes $30 a year for basically submitting a form, but they sell your personal data and try to trick everyone into "agreeing" to this by hiding it in fine print in gray font, auto-checking "yes," and asking you just to "Continue," to automatically opt in, instead of to actually "Agree." It's a total scam.

Not giving 5 stars for the service itself, but 5 stars for customer service. Tessa helped me getting my card automatically charged for my wife and I despite us not moving into the residence that required this account. Back and forth email with Tessa resolved it in a couple of days. No complaints.
