Indefinite wait to get our motorhome…
Indefinite wait to get our motorhome back lost our summer holiday …
Please can someone from Peugeot respond I have a 2023 motorhome based on a Peugeot boxer motorhome less than 6000 miles on it which has had trouble from the outset. We Purchased brand new.
It is currently in for warranty work and after waiting patiently for over 7 weeks have now been informed by your motorhome department that there is now no date even available as to when the new required ECU will enter production this is completely unacceptable. We were told 4-5 weeks initially but now to be told it’s an indefinite wait is just totally unacceptable. I have just contacted your customer care line who are unwilling to open a complaint and wished me good luck in filing a complaint.
I am now going to loose £2000 pounds in booked site fees. This is not even the most important part as due to Peugeots inept parts department my Family will loose our summer holiday which is irreplaceable ….
Somebody must be able to look into this matter and firm up a date but apparently I am informed I must wait patiently indefinitely.
You should be ashamed of the entire process ……
My 508 car broke down and was recovered…
My 508 car broke down and was recovered by the RAC and was taken to Burton on Trent the service department wanted details of a recall and I tried all day to get this information from Stellantis Nottingham. Finally after speaking with AI which was a complete waste of time I was able to speak to Harley who helped me and he sent all the information over to Pentagon Burton on Trent.Thank you Harley so much I must have been on the phone nearly all day
Just the absolute worst
Just the absolute worst. Please anyone reading this, do not buy a Peugeot!
I bought a 4 year old Peugeot Partner and within 4 months, the entire engine needed replacing. Peugeot refused to cover it, despite it being legally covered by the Consumer Rights Act. This forced me to instruct solicitors to help. 6 months later, just as it was about to go to court, I magically get informed there's a recall on this issue.
I am still only writing this review after being made to wait over a month for an appointment, and after my van has sat at the Peugeot garage for 2 weeks with no work having been carried out. It's impossible to get hold of the service team for updates, and I have now been without my work van for 7 months!!
AVOID at all costs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! …
AVOID at cost selling cars with known welt belt faults my car 2 years old and engine gone and they are not honouring the Warrenty !!!!
WN23YRD please avoid this company if u know what’s good for you
No emphathy from a souless company
Three years ago I bought a Peugeot and…
Three years ago I bought a Peugeot and that's when the nightmare began. I've spent over £6,000 on it and it's still giving me problems. This brand sends letters and gives me an appointment with a two-month wait just to look at the car. They play with their customers, making them believe they're going to solve the problem, but it's all a lie. Don't buy cars from this brand because you'll suffer a lot of bitter moments.
3 month wait for warranty work and no courtesy car
Have a 2 year old e2008. Developed the ***known*** fault related to the 12v battery (I think). Fobs won't allow entry to the car. Got to sit in the car for half an hour with the alarm going off before the car will start after entering with the key. Trouble then powering off. I've kept the car in start mode for an hour and one of the fobs worked for about 5 minutes.
Dealer Arnold Clarke have a 3 month wait for warranty work **initial** diagnostic and will not provide a courtesy car. Similar story for near by dealers. Phoned Peugeot and still waiting for a call back.
Under UK rules, you have protection from Consumer Rights Act 2015 but I need a car now not the timescales progressing a complaint!
[Edit. Just spoke to Peugeot who have started they do not have to provide a courtesy car. The dealer might after the first diagnostics. They did provide details of another dealer with a shorter wait time (still weeks) but they have poor reviews and I've been advised from someone to avoid at all cost. There is no manager to escalated this too. They won't put in writing that I'm not entitled to a courtesy car. Like many of you I NEED A CAR]. #Peugeot #peugeot208 #peugeotev
Timing Belt Failure
Timing belt failed on a 1.2, 3008 at 63500 miles despite proper servicing. Neither N I Peugeot dealers or Peugeot Customer Service want to know about it.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service from Peugeot.
My vehicle was taken in for diagnosis, and I was left without a car for 14days. Throughout this period, I repeatedly explained that I have a child and an elderly relative who rely on me for transport. Despite knowing the hardship this was causing, Peugeot showed little interest in helping or finding a solution.
What has angered me most is that I was explicitly told that I would be entitled to a courtesy car once the vehicle had been diagnosed. I accepted that explanation and waited for the diagnosis to be completed, only for Peugeot to completely reverse their position and tell me I would not be getting a vehicle after all. Being told one thing and then having it withdrawn later is misleading and completely unacceptable.
The entire experience has been characterised by poor communication, broken promises, and a complete lack of customer care. Instead of feeling supported by a major manufacturer, I was left feeling abandoned. For over two weeks, I was forced to deal with the consequences of having no transport while trying to care for both a child and an elderly family member.
When a company sells you a vehicle, they are quick to talk about quality, reliability, and customer service. The true test is how they treat customers when something goes wrong. Based on my experience, Peugeot failed that test spectacularly. when the vehicle was seen, it was dealt with by my local dealer as quickly as they could .
I have lost all confidence in the brand. I would not recommend Peugeot to anyone based on the way I have been treated. If you value honesty, communication, and customer support, look elsewhere.
My Peugeot still not working fully
I was thinking about paying for my extra information on "my Peugeot app"then yesterday I did a trip to Stone Staffordshire.
My Peugeot tracked my trip down to Stone but none of my trip back home.
I refused to pay the extra because it didn't seem to work correctly.
Now I find it STILL ISN'T.
Get it together my Peugeot.
After a good experience with the purchase..
Posted under Perrys
But now here as the issue is a peugeot car so they own responsibility here as well. After a good experience with the purchase.. first sign of trouble and they failed me
New 3 month old Motability car, got a puncture whilst away from home, Got repair kit out.
Issue 12v socket not working,
Luckily I had a friend with me so we used his car got the repair, went to kwik fit they replaced tyre..
Rung perrys here is where i got frustrated snd hung up.
The issue is 99% likely to be a fuse. Its my only form of transport.
Perrys wont collect the car apparently my 2.3 miles from the garage is out of range for collection!!!!
They want me to drop off my car and leave it with them for 2-4 hours for a diagnostic. I have no one to drive me. So this would leave stranded. For several hours for something that should only take 5-10 mins to fix.
So I said why cant I come in someone do a check say this is just a fise. Problem solve no answer is it needs to be with them 2-4 hours and to repeat JUST 2.3 MILES (AKA Less than 5 mins drive) is too far for them to collect!
Update 2nd May
Perrys rung me. It gets worse the date I was offered was 6th june 5 weeks away!!! this is for a REPAIR under warranty to an electrical system in an electric Car driven by a disabled person. So yes regardless of how likely it is to be “just a fuse” (in a socket that effectively part of the puncture repair kit so if i get another puncture it will be RAC :( )
But suppose it is a symptom of a more serious electrical problem? and at some point in the next 5 weeks it shorts and catches fire, and to-reiterate I am disabled so getting in/out of a car quickly IS a problem for me.
Or well I guess if something does go wrong the court case will be very large..
Update
I was rang to book my car in earlier hurrah -i thought so duly took it in on Friday May 22nd. then rang me at 3;00 to come and collect the car as there system was down and they couldn’t do the anslysis, comical yep but wait it gets worse.. they promised to ring me back on tuesday. Monday being a bank holiday and let me know when they can fix (my likely FUSE issue) -I wasn’t rang in fact i its now Saturday May 30th and I i still waiting for a phone call. and worse they didnt replace used tyre repair kit either !
Excellent dealership support, terrible Peugeot UK support
Excellent dealership support, but Peugeot UK customer service is extremely poor – important advice for Motability customers
I wanted to share my experience as a Motability customer affected by a known fault with my vehicle.
Firstly, I want to recognise my local dealership, Howard’s of Yeovil, who were excellent throughout. In particular, Sales Manager Tom and Showroom Manager Lloyd went above and beyond. They kept me informed, were honest about the situation, and did everything they could to support me. It was clear they were dealing with a wider issue outside of their control, and their professionalism really stood out.
Unfortunately, my experience with Peugeot UK was the complete opposite.
My vehicle developed a known fault relating to the door locking system and ECU communication, which appears to be affecting multiple vehicles. Despite sending several emails to Peugeot UK, I received no response at all — no acknowledgement, no update, nothing.
For a manufacturer to ignore customers experiencing known faults is extremely disappointing and unacceptable.
What I want to highlight, particularly for other Motability customers, is this:
Do not assume the first solution offered to you is your only option.
In my case, I was initially told that ending my agreement early would involve charges and potential penalties. However, after challenging this and raising a formal complaint, the outcome changed significantly. I was:
* released from my agreement early
* not charged any termination fee
* and received a pro-rata refund of my advance payment
This was the correct and fair outcome, as the issue was due to a mechanical fault and not something I had caused.
I am aware that other customers in the same situation have not been given the same information and are paying fees unnecessarily, simply because they were not told they could challenge it.
My advice to anyone in a similar situation:
* work closely with your dealership — they are often your best point of support
* raise a formal complaint with Motability if you are affected by a known fault
* ask for your case to be escalated to a manager or senior complaints handler
* do not accept termination fees or penalties without questioning them
* ask about your right to a pro-rata refund of your advance payment
There is a clear disconnect between the excellent service provided by dealerships like Howard’s of Yeovil and the lack of communication and accountability from Peugeot UK.
Customers deserve transparency, consistency, and proper support — especially when dealing with known faults that are outside of their control.
I worked as a manger for a Peugeot…
I worked as a manger for a Peugeot retailer for 6 1/2 years. As part of the rewards, Stellantis Academy offer incentives annually depending on how many cars are sold and how happy the customers are. I had a full email and printout confirming my annual reward. The amount is a considerable figure but as I left Peugeot to work for another brand in 2026 they are now withholding payment stating that I have to still be a current employee at the time of payment. The payment for 2025 was paid on 24th April 2026, as they delayed paying it to my previous employer. Absolutely disgusting to treat time served staff in this manner.
Good pleasant staff always
All the staff are friendly and at their best will to help, always been pleasant to visit the service and sales team , been a peogeot driver for 8 years with my 3rd car chosen .
Biggest bag of shite Peugeot/Stellantis…
Biggest bag of shite Peugeot/Stellantis as ever created my E 3008 SG74 NLE as spent 6 months in the garage trying to fix a car computer that cannot talk to the car. 4 recalls so far they have had to make a new part to fix mine and 600 other peoples cars ongoing problems that are not been made public until now, and everyone wonders why china is taking over the car market. I know how to fix the Stellantis group but no-one will listen to me Mr nobody
Awful service / unreliable product
I purchased an 11 month old Peugeot 2008 from a dealer in Rugby.
After a couple of weeks it developed a fault that caused the engine to go into crawl mode and I had to be rescued by the RAC.
After leaving the vehicle with the dealer for a number of days they were eventually able to reproduce the fault and order the parts. 4 weeks later the parts finally arrived and a couple of weeks on I am still unable to a date as to when the vehicle will be repaired.
So the vehicle worked for less that 3 weeks.
Took a week to eventually diagnose the fault.
Took a month to get the replacement parts.
Still waiting for the second week for the vehicle to be repaired.
I have at least been provided with a rental vehicle (A reliable Volvo) but this if anything seems to put me low down on the priority list to get my car repaired.
The dealership is not providing me with any proactive updates - I have to chase all updates.
I have been a Stellantis (Citroen / Peugeot) advocate for years. Unfortunately the number of mainstream dealers is on a decline and this time I decided to use a dealership I had never used before because of its location. I will not be using them again due to the awful customer service and inability to rectify faults with their unreliable products.
extremely poor quality, customer experience
My vehicle (Peugeot E-5008, has been off the road for over three months following a safety-related incident involving a sudden loss of steering control. Since that time, Peugeot has failed to repair the vehicle due to “unavailable parts,” with no confirmed timeline for resolution.
The required components (including the steering rack) are safety-critical. Despite this, I have been informed that parts are being prioritised elsewhere, leaving my vehicle unusable indefinitely.
Key concerns:
Continued financial loss: I am paying monthly lease costs for a vehicle that cannot be used
No defined repair timeline despite prolonged delay
Inadequate communication and lack of accountability
Potential safety defect, given known steering/suspension concerns in similar models
Peugeot’s handling of this matter raises serious questions regarding:
Compliance with consumer protection obligations
Duty of care in addressing potential safety-related defects
Fair treatment of customers facing extended loss of use
If this matter is not resolved urgently, I will be proceeding with formal escalation, including:
Complaint to the DVSA regarding potential safety defects
Legal action to recover financial losses and associated damages
Further escalation through regulatory and consumer protection channels
I would strongly caution prospective customers to consider the risks, particularly around after-sales support and parts availability for safety-critical repairs.
This situation remains unresolved as of today.
Terrible customer service.
Terrible customer service.
After an issue with the timing belt that took 6 months to fix, my vehicle ended up with more issues from STELANTIS than it started with. Finally all issues were fixed.
Peugeot customer service are, frankly, incompetent. I have spoken to them 12 times in the last month and not a single promise of a call back, a manager call, an email confirming my case notes etc has ever been followed through. Every time they say my case officer will call he doesn't. He ignored 4 emails and still hasn't replied a month later. I started a new case to complain about the customer service and, guess what... they haven't contacted me again. An utter utter disgrace. I have gone to the Motor Ombudsman as a last resort.
Horrific you’ve had my car for 6 weeks…
Horrific you’ve had my car for 6 weeks and still not communicating with me. Timing belt fault on recall but want to drag it out with whose responsibility it is to fix it. Disgusting customer service
There are really no words to describe how ABSYMAL Peugeot Customer Services is
There are really no words to describe how abysmal Peugeot Customer Service is. I owned a brand new 208 for 10 weeks before it "died" in the middle of a motorway on 4th December. I rejected the Vehicle ON 5th December, through their Vehicle Rejection "Scheme". Having a received a couple of calls leading up to Christmas. I was told when I called on 22nd December it was being "escalated". I have heard NOTHING since!!!! I have had to resolve at my own expense with the local dealership. It is the WORST/NON EXISTENT Customer Services I have ever received bar NONE. I have called today to be told my case was closed with have heard nothing from anyone! APPALLING!!!
