I started my lessons in March with pat doing automatic with really bad anxiety towards driving and was terrified to go anything above 20/30mph when driving, throughout my time with him there hasn’t been a point when he wasn’t understanding and patient with me as I grew in confidence whilst driving. I passed my driving test yesterday (12/09) on my 3rd attempt, after the 1st test attempt I had given up and didn’t want to continue driving but his confidence in my ability to drive kept me going and helped me to be where I am now and I’m thankful for support he gave me

Gerrard is an amazing instructor, so helpful and a very friendly guy. I cannot thank him enough for always having faith in me. I don't think I would have passed if it wasn't for him!

Patrick is an amazing instructor, I have serious anxiety especially driving and he’s been so helpful and supportive ,he will tell you and help you where to improve but what I find is lovely and a great Confidence boost is how he also acknowledges and tells you when you’ve done something well or handled a situation well , he really makes you feel at ease and any questions no matter how silly they seem to ask he will answer and help with , an all round lovely person

i went into driving lessons with bad car anxiety and no idea a car even had a clutch, and then not long later passed first time with 4 minors. gerrard is a lovely guy, his teaching style is great, he will always tell you why you need to do something and make everything really clear, as well as also making sure you’re comfortable and are having a good chat. would highly recommend 10/10 :)

Gerrard was a great driving instructor, I mainly struggled with parking but he offered good explanation of when I'd need to do certain monuvour. Would really recommend.

I had a great experience learning with Gerrard. He was at all times patient, friendly, and reliable.

His level-headed and good-humoured teaching style, alongside clear and thoughtful instruction, gave me the skills I needed to pass my test on the first try.

Absolutely fantastic driving instructor. I cannot thank Pat enough for his support and the confidence he has given me. Very professional but definitely puts you at ease. Everyone needs to be taught by this guy, literally everyone.

I would 100% recommended pat. After a bad experience with my old driving instructor my confidence was in complete tatters but pat helped me to over come and re build my confidence and encouraged me not to give up. Pat is an honest and genuine reliable driving instructor i will forever be grateful for the the effort and time pat has put in to help me achieve passing my driving test. you honestly will find it impossible to find another driving instructor like pat 😊

Driving with Gerrard was a great experience. After a previous bad instructor, Gerrard helped me improve my confidence and realise that driving doesn’t have to be a stressful experience. I am now looking forward to taking some motorway lessons now I have passed my test and would recommend to any one learning to drive!

Highly recommend PG Driving School. Lessons for 4.5 months and first time pass! Gerrard has been amazingly patient and supportive of our daughter through her learning to drive experience. A patient, consistent and skillful instructor who has, no doubt, helped build her confidence and resolve. We very much appreciate your dedication to your students and hope you will be available when our son turns 17 in the near future.

Was 5 years ago now but highly recommended Pat as a driving instructor, so calm and patient. After a bad experience with my previous instructor, Pat really put my mind at ease. I’d also like to thank his son Gerard who taught my partner last year, he was also brilliant.

He is very genuine, Calm, composed , professional instructor. What makes him more special is,he takes every effort to correct your mistakes even if it takes N number of attempts.
He knows when to calm you down and praise you. Very professional and always says “don’t be in a rush” which will echo in my ears whenever I drive. I’m forever grateful to him. I will 💯 % recommend him to my friends and family. You will never be disappointed. Thank you so much Pat.
