I highly recommend Phillips and George Estate Agents.
They say one of the most stressful things in life is buying or selling a house and from my first experience I can confirm this. However this time round it was greatly improved with the help and support from Phillips and George. They were attentive with excellent advice from day one. They continued with efficiency and profession throughout the process and I had a very pleasant experience.

Following the death of our mother, We were advised to contact the Sales and Lettings company
Phillips George.

They came straight to the house when we asked them to, took great detail of the building, contents and outside area, including the general location. and provided some awesome advice.
In the meantime, my sister had seeked advice from another estate agents, and we had been provided with their brief quote.

As a direct result of the Phillips George advice, My brother and I carried out some simple work in and outside the building, as a direct result, the house went up for sale and we finally were offered and accepted some £30,000 more than our sister's quote., this also being in the face of this latest falling house prices.

The house is now the property of a lovely young couple and child. We wish them as much fun, love and freedom which we also received.

I have to try to let you understand the high quality of not only the advice, the work carried out by Phillips George, but the freedom to talk as and when we needed to, I pinpoint all staff, but the main point of that contact was Samantha Vannuil.

She kept a totally positive and clear line of information coming through to us and the young couple, and I have to take my hat off for the absolute professionalism that was provided.

This is the second half of my review of the same Estate Agent. I wrote in two times because the house sale process is necessarily long. My comments will follow through what I already wrote before. Phillips George is a 5 stars agency. I never thought I would face that many challenges. After all it was my first house sale. Relocation (including children school, house sale and purchase, contents removal) is described as one of the most stressful events in life. Sam kept me informed constantly without overwhelming discussions. I received a prompt email when I couldn't answer my mobile. Thankfully I was spared from negotiating which is quite challenging for me. I was able to address the issues without letting them stressing me up. I handed my house keys to Sam on completion day congratulating her for the excellent service.

As a buyer Phillips George were able to offer convenient viewing opportunities; rather than being placed on a waiting list as with some agents; and a no-hassle viewing experience. During the purchase I was kept well informed of all the necessary details and liaison with the seller was handled well; with additional assistance after completion. On balance, Phillips George provide a comprehensive, professional yet personable service. Thank you!

We instructed Phillips George based on a friends recommendation. From the outset we were impressed with Clare's knowledge of the local market and her honest and mature approach. Clare and her colleagues organised multiple viewings and we received several offers within the first few days. We happily accepted an offer for the full asking price after 7 days on the market.
