Ph Jones are time wasters. I made a appointment with them toke Unpaid leave And they never showed up and then they made a other appointment and gave me a one ringer Pretending to call me and then they said I wasn't in I waited from 8am to 8pm all day wast of my time. And now they Blaming me for not being at my property but they never show up. If I can give the a Zero Star I would. Time wasters.

This company's customer care service is a buch of liers and morons with no consideration to humanity.
I called in on Saturday for the out of hours emergency eg. No hot water/gas/ and warer leaks , and 2 vulnerable people that needed these facilities., not the water leaK tho... They did not care, and said they didn't have any engineer that is available. And I should call back on Tuesday in working hours.
Finally on Tuesday after calling several times to them and stressing that my 82 year old mother suffers fron chronic arthritis, and threatened them with a law suit, they decided after constant calling, (they problemly got fed up with me and finally sent an engineer out).
My engineer was called PAUL, Paul went above and beyond to make sure my Mother had hot water and gas and heating. Thank you so much PAUL,. You have a heart of gold... It's a shame you work for such a bull shit company. BLESS you PAUL you cared for a family you did not know. We now have heating gas and we are comfortable. Shame on the company you represent. And if you go through what i went through with ph jones overcome this and just ask for PAUL. Thank's again PAUL the engineer man. And for your customer service

Wayne, an excellent engineer!
Just have to mention Wayne! He was so helpful and polite. He identified the problem after installing the new boiler as needing a new pump on the communal system. 6 months later it was finally fitted after lots of troubleshooting. A really great engineer. He also delivered electrical heaters which saved us during a very cold winter!
A leak they will not even attend property
There are two people over 70 that live here and it is 22:00pm and i have a water leak coming from my boiler and these cowboys on their emergency call out saying the cannot attend to look at the leak just put something under the boiler to catch the water and wait until Monday to call the local office for them to make an appointment to come out,and to turn off the boiler so we have no hot water or heating.They are not bothered where the water is going in the boiler even if it is dripping on the electrics within .They have passed the buck by saying it is up to the council to arrange an appointment and that they are going to do nothing.!

Was even asked to take annual leave to meet an appointment date they wanted.
Was quoted this is important to get this boiler serviced yet they fail to attend twice.

I've been without heating, hot water, or cooking facilities for FIVE days, after these idiots firstly sent a fella AFTER 6pm when I'd made it clear I'd be out after that; then sent someone incapable of fixing the gas leak, the next day, after me waiting in all day, and then, to top it, I was told that they'd definitely ring me today, to organise the repair....f... all! No attendance, no phone calls, nothing. I've now written emails to Onward housing (who are equally crap, by the way) gone on WhatsApp for three hours, and made eight phone calls, and I'm STILL without said facilities. No wonder these fools have lost the contract with Onward. I hope they and their inept 'team' go bust and end up skint! Dreadful.

I have endured so much with this company over the years.
Incompetence, rudeness,time wasting and lack of care.
I have been trying to get my boiler repaired since December last year.
At least seven technicians have been to fix an issue with ignition.
The boiler does reset after an error code but turns off after 8 minutes.
Not one engineer would wait to see if it went off after they had done what I could do myself. PRESS A BUTTON...
I have been without heat and water all this time.Having to stay with relatives to avoid hypothermia as I have respitory illness and Im classed as vulnerable
Customer services are the absolute worst I have ever encountered.
On top of this they have not turned up twice for the gas service appointment they instigated.and then claimed no access on both occasions I never left the house all day.
This company's service and attitude needs addressing and I am contacting ofgem regarding their behaviour and the fact they blatantly ignore legislation regarding heat and water.avsilability.

Terrible service from PH Jones. They booked an appointment and didn’t turn up or even notify me. After I chased them, they rebooked for the following week (8–12) but arrived at 1pm. They changed the radiator, but after they left, two radiators stopped working. I was promised another visit the next day between 12–5 and again, nobody showed up. Very unreliable company. Would not recommend.

Clarity for the customer.
Today I had a visit from a gas engineer from PH Jones to carry out the annual service. As he came in the front door, I pointed out that the meter was to his right. He dutifully carried out a manometer test. As he stood, I informed him that the combi boiler was upstairs on the landing. However, he swept past me and into the kitchen. He then unplugged the toaster and did a electrical circuit test ? I asked him why ( as this was the first time for this). He said " I have to check the voltage"!
He went upstairs and took off the boiler casing then came downstairs to ask " where is the isolator" ? I had to ask him to repeat this 4 times due to his heavy African accent. He informed me that the boiler needs an isolator near the boiler. This has never been an issue in the 26 years I've been here. As it turns out I now have to have another day off work to accommodate this to be fitted. The sheer arrogance of this guy on his mission of very obviously " job building" and treating me in my own home like an inconvenience. I later phoned their office for advice about the need for this switch only to wait 25 minutes to be answered. It transpires that it needs to be done asap because the dwelling is " non compliant " ! This is the first visit by this company and hopefully when Wigan council see all the negative comments that are on trust pilot they will put the tender out for a reputable company to carry out GAS safety servicing and not a " fill your boots"opportunistic shambles like PH Jones. Btw, still waiting for the call back/ voicemail from 11am this morning. COWBOYS.

Ph Jones today a worker came to my home he was actually very good and very pleasant he's ordered a new radiator for my bedroom a put a new thermostatic valve on living room radiator It not his fault but I'm getting zero heat in living room at all where I was getting to much before and the morons running the office think it's ok to make the customer suffer the cold until tomorrow when it's convenient to them and Midlands heart housing association has no problem with disgusting service temperature 4 c without heating my home is like a freezer congratulations pH Jones

Booked an appointment for a 12:00–18:00 slot. Six hours went by… no show, no call, no message, nothing.
I took unpaid leave to be available, and they couldn’t even provide basic communication or courtesy. Completely unprofessional and a total waste of my time.
Now they expect me to rebook and lose another six hours? Absolutely not.
Steer well clear of this firm — they clearly don’t value customers’ time or commitments.

First issue, they arranged an engineer to visit my home on a day I was working. When contacting on them the same say, they rearranged it to a day I could book of work, no problem however I received a threatening letter in the post regarding a missed appointment that was never arranged in the first place.
Second issue, on the day of the appointment, I waited in all day for the engineer to arrive however there was no knock at the door or ring on the buzzer for our apartment. On contacting them they advised the engineer arrived at 1:30pm and our phone would “not connect”. This is completely untrue, as mentioned above, no ring on our buzzer or knock on the door and no missed calls.
They are now advising of a potential charge if a future appointment is missed. This will absolutely not be paid as the booking arrangements and lack of completion is completely their fault.
