I would like to start by saying I had never touched a motorbike before, I was scared of the sound they made and on my first pre CBT lesson I didn’t move the bike…anyway Ben got me to my CBT in 3 lessons.
I’ve never met a more patient person in all my life, the instructions Ben gives are incredibly clear and tailored to whoever he is speaking to. I genuinely cannot believe I can move the bike, this is all down to how great Ben is as a teacher and how passionate he is! THANK YOU BEN!!! see ya soon for the full licence hehe 🏍️

Auto to gear course
Another fun day out ! It was indeed very hot , Ben made sure we had our frequent water breaks throughout the course.
Ben was very patient with me as I’ve never been on a geared bike before but with his confidence and instructions gave me hope and confidence myself !
I felt a lot more confident this time around after getting a swing for things after being on a ped for my cbt !
- Very positive feedback , I was recommended to do the CBT + to gain more feel for the bike which I can’t wait for !

Liam was a great instructor
Liam was a great instructor and frequently checked in to see how I was feeling and how I thought I was doing before sharing his own views (which he was real about). He also knew exactly what would be best for me to practice and, hence, I passed 1st try! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to book their CBT.

Try 1 to 1 before CBT
Doing the one to ones with Sam helped massively and having the help from Dave on the CBT day.
If you have no prior experience with a clutch I highly recommend doing a one to one before doing your CBT it’s a lot to take in on one day so doing the one to one before helps a lot.

CBT in Watford
I did a few pre-CBT lessons and my CBT with Ben and he was so helpful and a great instructor. The other instructor Paul who was at the CBT was also very helpful and thorough in his explainations.
Will definitely be going back for further training to get my license.

Cant fault them
Cant fault them, me & my partner went quite scared for cbt first time on geared bike. We did ok and then went on the road test part & my partner went into a road sign. We got taken back to training school on back of marks big bike that was a highlight. They were so nice & encouraged us to get back on the bikes on the pad, we booked to return to do the road part & had no issues. Mark was so calming & encouraging & felt so safe & heard with him & all the other instructors. Highly rate them & recommend to all.

Went for my 2nd CBT. Great experience. Calm, friendly, professional staff had good banter and patience for everyone. Had an instructor doing his first session and absolutely smashed it. Kenny did a great job

UPDATE Thank you for your details so we could look into this in more detail.
The reason for the last-minute cancellation was an unexpected overrun of the Hampshire Police's use of the training area due to the annual Wickham Horse Fair. They were due to be on the training area up until Thursday evening, but we did not find out till first thing Friday morning that they were still on site, hence the last-minute cancellation. As we did not have any spaces for CBTs at that location immediately available to you, we did suggest that you could attend another local centre to give us an opportunity to increase the number of spaces at Wickham following the unexpected non-availability of the site that morning. When this was not accepted, we did refund your full fee on the 22nd of May, which should be in your account within 3 days. Once again, we are sorry for any inconvenience caused, but this was totally out of our control and not our standard high level of service normally provided by us.

The reason I keep coming back to Phoenix is the top level of teaching, quality and value.
I have done everything from CBT to DAS, advanced rider days and two trail riding days.
Every instructor is highly experienced and knows how to share their knowledge. Lessons are done in very small groups (1 : 2) so its very personal and easy to ask questions.
I like that the training gets tailored on the day to fit what the students need so we can improve on our weaknesses.
All the gear supplied and the bikes are in great condition. The value you get is well worth it, if not for learning, then just a fun day riding around green lanes.
