Cannot thank the team at Phoenix enough. We left training our female boxer quite late, when she was two years old so many bad habits had formed. Phoenix took our anxious little girl for residential training and gave us back a much calmer dog and taught us the tools to help Bean grow into one of the best behaved dogs in our area, despite her anxious nature. It is also reassuring to know we can contact the team to ask questions regarding any issues with Bean and her training. Getting videos of her progress while she was with the team really helped We also use the team for dog boarding which allows us to know she is safe and getting consistency while we are away.

We cannot speak highly enough of Phoenix Trained Dogs. We relocated to the UK from Canada last year and my husband came across Phoenix. We were looking for a German Shepard and Louis was very helpful in assessing our needs and lifestyle and recommended that Willy would be a perfect fit for our family. We have had other GS, but Willy is so special and we couldn't be happier with his training. He walks beautifully, has excellent recall and follows all his other commands. He is such a loving dog and is very gentle (and patient) with our 2 young grandchildren.

The service provided by Phoenix is outstanding. They spent a lot of time with us when we first got Willy and are always available to answer any questions. We had an issue and called them and they were there first thing the next morning. The issue was us, not the dog and they showed us how to correct what we were doing wrong. They also provided us with videos to demonstrate how to stay on top of his training.

Willy boards with Phoenix when we are away- they pick him up and drop him off and we know he is loved and very well cared for when we return, not to mention he gets a refresher course on all his training! We also get beautiful pictures of him everyday when we are away.

Having a Phoenix trained dog is an entirely different dog experience for us and we just could not be any happier. Outstanding people; outstanding service; outstanding training.

We got our German Shepherd puppy River from Phoenix Trained Dogs earlier this year.

We were very impressed with the knowledge and information that was given to us throughout the process! Communication was very regular, we were provided with professional photographs and updates on how River was getting on. They genuinely care for the welfare of their puppies, before and after collection!

River is stunning and you can tell she is from a brilliant bloodline! Shes great with the kids and is very intelligent!

I first contacted Phoenix when I needed help training my new puppy specifically walking on the lead and desensitising in public, which proved difficult for us to do ourselves due to her large breed. The service we received was nothing short of amazing. They made a WhatsApp group and kept us regularly updated with detailed videos and photos so we could learn and continue the training at home. It was also lovely to see our dog was so happy and being looked after so well. Whenever she came home and I had any questions or needed additional help, the team were literally a WhatsApp away ready to help and answer any questions I had.

We also used their boarding service many times when we went away. Again, daily updates of her enjoying her day with her new furry friends which was such a nice touch.

Sadly our girl passed away not long ago, but I will continue to recommend Louis and the whole team at Phoenix to anyone. Thank you guys so much for all you did for us. Cali really adored you all and we are so glad she got to enjoy lots of time with you during her short life. Hopefully things change geographically for us and we can see you all soon with our new pup 🐶

Our dog Luna stayed with Phoenix for 3 weeks and came back a dream! She absolutely loved it and she’s been amazing since.

Amazing! Best residential trainers in the UK, we couldn’t recommend them more.
We took our Doberman puppy to Louis and his team when he was just 2 months old for 2 weeks board and train. As first time dog owners we were obviously very worried about him being away for that long but the team sent us updates every day with videos and explanations on his progress. The biggest part I would shout about forever is the team will always be just a text or phone call away whenever we need them. When I looked at other trainers who did residential training they all had prices on how long we’d be able to contact them for advice etc post training and for me that felt more like a sale than a trainer and owner relationship. With Phoenix we could never have sent our boy back again and they’d have always been at the other end of the phone to share their advice and expertise. For that reason we have and will continue to send both Atreus and any future dogs we have back for training. The best team out there!
We also recommended them to our neighbour and they too had a game changing experience with their boxer!

We’ve used Phoenix to purchase our first German Shephard pup following the death of our Viszla. We knew we wanted a German Shepherd after much research but didn’t have much understanding of protection work pups. We had absolutely fantastic conversations with Louis, where he answered every question we had with in depth knowledge and a clear love for the breed. We went ahead and purchased our gorgeous Pup Shadow and it’s the best decision we made. He’s a well rounded loving boy who is fantastic with our children and all other dogs we come across. He’s equal parts nutty, cuddly and amazingly intelligent, he’s an absolute joy to train. The communication since has been great, and although we haven’t had to, for any training needs or advice I know I can contact them. Cannot recommend enough!

The Phoenix team are amazing!

After having a bad experience with a previous trainer we were blessed in finding Louis, Luke, Charlie and Lisa; all of whom have been a big support for our anxious Shar Pei.

We first went to Phoenix in November 2022 and can honestly say we haven't looked back. Their 2 sites are fantastic, spacious, clean and totally secure. To begin with our dog needed training; specifically with noise fear/lead walking/dog and people anxiety. We have some excellent videos from Phoenix enabling us to continue the work done with them at home.

We have also left our dog with the them on a number of occasions whilst we went on holiday and will continue to do so in the future. The photos/videos sent through every day that our dog is there puts our mind at rest; knowing he is in such friendly, safe and secure hands.

We trust all the team at Phoenix and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Phoenix are an incredible company to work with. They have shown passion, love and great knowledge for all dogs and more importantly time and patience for their owners. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for elite training and/or boarding for their dogs.

We first approached Phoenix in the winter of 2020, they helped us with our 10 month old German Shepherd puppy who had extreme anxiety caused by the lack of interaction during lockdown. Louis and his fantastic team worked with us over the next few months to help change not only our dogs behaviour, but also the way we handled and approached her, not only putting her at ease but also making home life so much easier. Following this, with continuous guidance and advice from all of the team through the various training videos, personal WhatsApp group and also the regular calls we have managed to maintain the changes. As we were so pleased with our results, in 2021 we purchased a fully trained 18 month old protection dog from Phoenix who has been fantastic in not only providing security in our home, but a wonderful addition to our family. Finally in 2022 we decided to add a third and final dog to our household; this time a puppy from one of the litters Phoenix had. Whether it’s been behavioural, protection training or general puppy advice, Louis and his team have been there every step of the way. Now our training is on top of we continue to use Phoenix multiple times a year for boarding when we travel. We love this option as not only do we know our dogs are looked after, but we receive daily videos, photos and updates which puts our mind at ease. Finally I would just like to thank Louis, Luke and Charlie as well as the staff behind the scenes for all of there help over the last 4 years and would confidently say to anyone who is thinking of using this company that they won’t regret it!

Exceptional service from all of the team at Phoenix. They made us feel so at ease from the off, and seeing our dogs enjoy themselves so much really put our minds at rest after worrying about leaving them. Totally transformed our lives with the work they did with our dogs. After using other "specialists" I cannot recommend Phoenix enough!
