Waste of money and time

Have used previously and been happy . Last order of their foam boards was awful. Unable to hang them as they now don’t supply fittings . Customer service was really unhelpful, basically waste of money and time trying to sort out a problem that they could of dealt with . Will not use again and would not recommend. Very poor and very very unhelpful .

Extremely let down.used to be a good company.will no use jessops again

I used jessops because it was a one point a good quality shop years ago but on this occasion i was well and truly disappointed by this company.
I ordered a photo clock for my 81 year old mum for Christmas 2018 as it was of my mother and fathers weddding photo in the 70’s.it was 25 years ago that i lost my dad so i thought this would be a great gift for.my mum .
The clock came and the photo was almost transparent but is was too close to Christmas to order another one so i did not do anything about it and gave it to my mum on Christmas Day and she was over the moon .
From the fist day she put the clock up it was faulty . The second finger was going too fast and clock kept stopping.so i took the item back and explained everything and the sale person agreed it was not right .
.i was told they had to contact a company in Germany where it was made and told i would get a phonecall from the shop when the Germany company contacted them the next day. As you can guess no call came.i called jessops they said said the Germany company did not work weekends .I left it over the weekend still no call.I went back down to the shop at Meadowhall sheffield and was told i have to wait for the company in Germany to call jessops back again.i left the shop but the went back in and asked them to phone the company in Germany THEY REFUSED .i asked for the details of the company so i could contact them direct and asked the sales person his name and he said NICK.i then mentioned i had spoke to trading standards and was told i should have been given a fefund because the product is faulty , after that i was given a full refund BY JESSOPS oh and his name was not nick IT WAS JOHN as the form he filled in on the computer he stated his name as JOHN team leader???? .
Shame on you jessops if this continues you will have no customers left as you have just lost one more very very bad service

As a regular customer, I am disgusted.

I have never left a review in my life.

As a regular customer, I am absolutely disgusted by the way my situation has been handled. The communication has been awful and the staff I have spoken to and been emailing have been no help to me at all. One of the guys I spoke to sounded like he couldn't care less about my situation. I was asked politely to be put through to someone who can help me and he basically said, this is all I can do. Another I was emailing, never got back to me. So I have been calling multiple times to try and sort it out.

I ordered a wooden canvas with a wedding photo printed on for my Mum and her husband for Christmas. I ordered with plenty of time. When the canvas arrived, I was shocked to see that the Husbands face has been cut through by the wood, removing his eyes from the picture. I called Jessops immediately and provided pictures of the canvas. Jessops are meant to be professionals and I would have thought, after they seen this they would not deliver and reprint the product. That was not the case.

I asked for it to be replaced. They told me that I can only have it reprinted on aluminum and not wood again, otherwise I would have to pay extra. I thought that was wrong, but still I said ok, as its almost Christmas I don't have the time or money to be messing around. So I agreed to having it reprinted on aluminum.

They told me that it would be sent out as soon as possible.

1 week later, still nothing. After 5 phone calls to contact, I finally got through to Jessops, they had no idea on what was going on with it.

I was then told that the situation will be handled right away and I would receive an update email later that day. I received nothing. So I called again asking about it, I got told it has been dispatched and the guy 'must have forgotten to email me'

Nothing got dispatched, I called up 3 or 4 days later to say its still not arrived and I would like to know where my canvas is. Yet again, nobody had any idea.

I spoke to a lady on the phone and I asked for a refund. This was a few days before Christmas. There was no point as I would not receive it in time for Christmas. She said she would sort this for me right away.

It's now the 3rd of January and I have still not been refunded. I was talking on the phone this morning and they said "they don't know why it hasn't gone through"

I know exactly why, its because they haven't put it through. Just like they never sorted out any problems that they caused myself over Christmas.

This is by far, the absolute worst service I have ever received.

Its a shame as I have always been a fan and recommended Jessops to many of my clients. I won't be doing that anymore.

Expensive poor quality calendars dated the previous year!!!!!!!!

Ordered 2 photo calendars as I do every year for my family at Christmas. Did it via the app this time which is clunky. The first screen asked me to choose the start date for the calendars. I chose January, uploaded my photos and sent the order. When they arrived they were dated 2018!!! Complained and was told it was my error and I would need to reorder at my own expense. Who would want a calendar with last year's dates on it?! And why is there no check in place to flag this up?! In the meantime I received an email to tell me my order had been despatched. I presumed someone at jessops had half a brain, could see the issue with the app allowing this to happen and had decided to rectify the issue. Received 2 more calendars. Also dated 2018!!!!! Contacted them again but no one can tell me why they sent me 2 more dated 2018!! It's as if they acknowledged they were at fault, attempted to rectify, messed up and now aren't interested! It seems to very much depend on who you get in customer service, 9 out of 10 either don't care or lack basic intelligence. Ordered from bonusprint instead and they were cheaper, printed on better quality paper and were actually dated the correct year! Will never use jessops again.

Horrible calendar. DO NOT BUY

Horrible calendar. Colours are off, pictures are very dark, quality is amateurish at best as if a cheap home printer was used (the source for the photos is an iPhone X).

I used Jessops for calendars before and it’s always been a good experience. Sadly, this won’t happen again as they robbed me of £40 (2 calendars that were supposed to be Christmas presents with the pictures of my kids for the grandparents). I am almost embarrassed to give these as presents.

Faulty print with no customer service

My wall print arrived with part of the picture cut out. I have spent two weeks trying to get this sorted out, and now my wife's Christmas present will not be here.

Worse, having initially said they'd repeat the print correctly, they have now said they won't. They have blamed me and told me to pay again if I want it done right.

Do NOT use Jessops for your photo calendar!

Do NOT use Jessops for your photo calendars, especially if you have used them before and thought they were good. I used them last year and received superb quality calendars. Its all changed. I had to reset and start again uploading photos, the site isn't easy to use at all so it takes a long time to complete. I ordered 2 calendars, received no updates on its progress and it arrived yesterday. I am beyond disgusted with what they have had the nerve to send. All the photos are overexposed, the colours are completely wrong and the overall quality is laughable! The covers are supposed to have a black background but it looks as if its been printed on a poor quality home printer; streaky grey/black with scratches! These were supposed to be presents for family but I'd be embarrassed to give them to anybody. Now I just have to get my money back...!!

Not a happy experience

Product: A3 hanging calendar
I will start with a caution to those who order through the website. Be careful to enter the promotion code on the first payment page, you don't get a second chance. There is no page to review your order. I managed to miss it so I paid full price! Expensive lesson.
I was trying to design a calendar with just a picture in the top half, no border.
The calendar printing was OK, a faithful reproduction of the colours. However, the positioning of the pictures on each sheet was not perfect. On some months the picture overlapped the month title, and it was not like that on the preview.
I found it difficult to position the pictures accurately so that they covered the top half of each sheet, and I am sure that some pictures were moved slightly. This wasn't helped by the template that I used - it was the best I could find, but it had a graduated shading at the top which made the picture look grubby. Fortunately it didn't come through to the final result.
One thing that I didn't expect was that the front cover had a picture on it - but portrait mode. I had only selected landscape mode pictures.
Another thing was that there was a lack of technical information (at least I couldn't find it). I had to email support to find out that you can personalise each day (for instance, add a note of birthdays). Also, I would have preferred to know the recommended size and resolution of the pictures to fill half the sheet. I guessed at A4 size and 300 dpi, but I think that is not quite right if you want the picture to go right to the edge on the 3 sides and to leave enough room for the month title.
I did try my luck by emailing support to ask for my discount that I missed, but no help there.
I have some gift vouchers, but I could find no way of using them. I have been back to the payment page to see if I could use them but there is definitely no way. I did spot the link to enter your promotion code on this second look - too late for me...
I must say that I found the Vistaprint website a much better experience, and I cannot recommend Jessops.

Very pleased.

Very pleased.

Ordered two canvases on 20th November 2018, received a notification when it was being put together, out to store delivery and then another when it arrived at the Jessops store for collection. Lead time states 14 working days but got mine after 5 working days (1 week from ordering) with a weekend in between.

Colour quality is excellent and the quality of the canvas build great. Protective packaging also good.

Manged to use a 50% off code but usual prices are fairly standard for this type of product.

Would use again.

Worst experience of buying a camera

Worst experience of buying a camera . I ordered £3000 of Sony equipment . The website said delivery next , does not mention you have to show any id. So I assumed stock was in and would get my delivery as per website.

That day , late in the afternoon I get a email that due to value I have to show or send id via email . So I send the same day .

No news the following day and I really need the equipment urgently . I ring and get told that they need to confirm id and the order will be dispatched.

No news!!!

I ring again , then I get told there is no stock for the equipment I paid for !!!!

Then I get a email that order will be delivered but I need now to pay for service. So I ring and get told again there is no stock . Unbelievable!!!
No call from manager , just get fobed off.

Asked for a refund . Moral ....never order from Jessops again

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. Canvas photo never arrived. It was re ordered. Never arrived. Promised replies to emails never happened. Promised call backs to phone calls never happened. Asked for my money back was told they would get authorisation and call me back did that happen No. Then received email which shows it’s been reordered will arrive in 14 days. Not what I asked for. Then customer service rang and said it will be delivered today. Guess what not arrived. WOULD NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. One star is one too many but it doesn’t let you give none, So I have paid for something which I have not had dispite one heck of a lot of time and effort on my part over the last 6 weeks.

Very poor customer service experience

I ordered ~700 photo prints online over 4 weeks ago (~£50 order). The photos that arrived were cropped differently to what appears on the ordering system and the photos had also been damaged in the post (in my opinion due to very poor packaging). I was offered a reprint and ensured over the phone that they would contact the printers to check the photos were printed as expected the second time. The reprints were identical to the first set of photos (i.e. cropped differently to how they appear on the online ordering system). To cut a long story short, seven emails to customer support later (not one of which received a reply!), including screenshots of the ordering process showing how the images should have appeared and photos of the printed result showing that it differed (offering definitive proof of the problem), and still no emailed response from Jessops and no phone call back from them. I have had to chase the issue on the phone myself five times now and all I get is "I'm sorry you feel this way", "someone will call you back within 24 hours" (which they never have) and "we are looking into how this happened with the company that print the photos". As far as I am concerned, I ordered photos from Jessops to appear as they did on the ordering system; the photos I received didn't (twice), and after giving an opportunity for them to reprint the photos, I should now be due a refund, not having to wait an indefinite amount of time (already two weeks) for them to sort out why they didn't print what was on the ordering system (which is an issue between them and their printers, not them and me as the customer). I will certainly not be ordering from Jessops again.

Disgusted!

Disgusted! Like the person below I discovered I could no longer log in to my Jessops account. I had spent 100s of hours putting together a photobook and was almost ready to order it. I contacted Customer Service with limited response. Eventually, through online chat, I discovered that projects started before 1st July were no longer accessible. I was devastated, and could not believe that they hadn't warned me. I'm told that a warning was sent - and it is possible that it disappeared into spam - but I certainly didn't get any warning.
Because of the message below, I decided to have a look in my spam, only to discover an email from CEWE photoworld saying that all Jessops projects were still saved and available there. I duly logged on using all my old details only to discover that it is not lost after all! I am disgusted and appalled that, despite Jessops knowing how upset I was, they didn't bother telling me that I could access my old material on a rival site.

Never again.

I have used Jessop's Photobook online ordering for several years and have created books for myself as well as other family members.I have always been happy with the quality and the delivery service.
However in February I had problems logging on which could not be solved,In the end I had to create another account as well as another email account. The customer service and support staff did what they could to help but to no avail. I was tempted to go elsewhere having lost a project but because I was familiar with the software and because I liked the products I did not. I put this down to a one off experience which would not happen again. Recently I tried to complete a project I had been working on for the last few months and found that I could not log on and that that no password reset emails were sent. I eventually had a response to my email telling me that emails had been sent " a while ago" saying that the current platform was to be disabled on the 1st July. I checked emails and eventually found one in my Spam dated 29th June. While I can't blame Jessops for the email going into Spam I feel that this would have not been sufficient notice anyway . I feel that a message which could have been seen when I logged on telling me this would have been appropriate, just as there always was a message saying that all Photobooks needed to be completed within 6 months of starting. So I will definitely not use this company again and advise anyone not to do so either.
