Ik was op zoek naar een mooi en passend cadeau voor een bevriende fotograaf en filmmaker. Ik wilde hem graag een fotoboek geven dat zijn werk zou inspireren. Een lastige opgave. Bij Photobookstore vond ik een ontzettend uitgebreide collectie mooie, en veelal gesigneerde fotoboeken.
Toch bleef ik het daadwerkelijk kiezen lastig vinden, wat mij deed besluiten contact op te nemen met de eigenaar. Door hem ben ik super fijn geholpen en heb ik fantastische service gekregen. Ik stuurde wat werk van mijn vriend en kreeg erg snel, zeer uitgebreide reacties, verschillende suggesties, uitleg over achtergronden van fotografen en waarom bepaalde boeken passend zouden kunnen zijn.
Ook de levering was snel, de volgende dag al ontving ik een goed ingepakt en prachtig fotoboek. Het boek bleek een schot in de roos. Kortom: een mooie collectie fotoboeken, hele fijne service van iemand die er echt kijk op heeft en de tijd neemt om mee te denken. Hier ga ik zeker terugkomen, alleen dan voor mijzelf! :-D

I was searching for a photobook for a friend, who is a photographer/filmmaker. I wanted to buy him a gift that would inspire his work. Not an easy task. Photobookstore has a wide variety of beautiful and signed photobooks, but I found that choosing the right gift was still very difficult.
I contacted the owner of Photobookstore and he was of very great assistance, he looked at some of the work of my friend and managed to do some great suggestions. He also gave background information about various photographers which really helped me focus on the right gift!
Besides the quick and helpful assistance, the delivery service was also really fast. I had the photobook delivered on my doorstep the very next day. All in all a very nice collection of photobooks, fast delivery and helpful service from someone who really knows his stuff! I am sure I will come back to purchase another photobook, only next time it will be for myself! :-D
