Photospecialist is not a participating reseller in Sony Promotions, and depends on where you are you might face a rejection if you try to claim back. However they advertise the promotion without any disclaimer. False advertising

Sends DAMAGED item, asks for a return and pretends to send the digital return label. Constantly emailing them for this ‘digital return label’ with no response for a whole month? Stay away!!! Will take your money

My order was assigned a random incorrect address over 200km from the one I input. Typo/autocorrect could never have made it up! No support or reply but luckily our national postal service allowed me to redirect it in time. Safe to say I’ll never buy from their Irish site again (photospecialist.ie)

I know this website seems promising to everyone because of the favorable prices, and it does until there's a need for warranty service. We bought a Zhiyun molus X100 light from them last August, which broke a month later. We sent it back for a warranty replacement on October 13. Since then, they have been coming up with various lies about why it's not ready yet, why they haven't exchanged it yet, or why they haven't refunded the money yet. After 3 months, the customer service can only say week after week that they will refund the product price within 5 working days, but this never happens. This is crystal clear theft. I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of this site, as we will be doing in the future. GM Media Solutions

I assumed when buying from a .ie website that the plug would be 3 pin (UK) however when it arrived it’s a European plug. I’ve checked the product description again and can’t find anywhere where it states it’s a European plug. Very disappointed.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Photospecialist. I placed an order during the Black Friday sale on 19-11-2023, and it has been over 30 days with no information on the delivery status.

Despite my multiple attempts to seek clarification via email, I have not received any response from the customer service team. The lack of communication and transparency regarding my order's status is unacceptable. As a customer, I expected better service and a reasonable explanation for the delay.

Furthermore, while I appreciate their competitive prices, the consistent issue with delayed deliveries to Ireland is a significant concern. It is disheartening that nothing ever makes it within the allocated time, and deliveries always exceed the promised 2/4 working days.

I am extremely disappointed with the overall experience and would caution others against relying on Photospecialist for their photography needs. The failure to respond to customer inquiries, provide timely updates on orders, and meet delivery expectations are significant shortcomings.

I urge potential customers to consider alternative options with better customer service, communication practices, and more reliable delivery timelines.

Scammers, stay away - ordered items off their website, they got "lost in transit", constantly had to chase them to get updates and ended up opening a case with PayPal. Hoping to get my money back after waiting for more than 1 week now.

I bought the Canon Gx7 Mark III, it did not disappoint. My order was here in Ireland in 5 working days. I thought it might have been too good to be true but Noel really supported me and put my mind at ease.

First and foremost, the lack of communication from Photospecialist.ie is concerning. After placing my order, I expected to receive updates on its status, but I was left completely in the dark. When I finally decided to reach out to inquire about the delay, I was told that the item was out of stock. This was frustrating, to say the least, as I had already paid for the product and had no prior indication that it was unavailable.

What's even more disappointing is that the customer service representative could not provide a clear timeline for when the item would be back in stock or when I could expect to receive it. This lack of transparency is unacceptable, as customers deserve to know what's happening with their orders.

While I understand that Photospecialist.ie offers competitive prices, it should not come at the cost of such poor communication and unfulfilled promises. Good prices are only one aspect of a successful online shopping experience. Timely updates, reliable information, and transparency are equally important.

In conclusion, I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Photospecialist.ie. I hope they take steps to improve their communication and customer service in the future to avoid similar frustrations for other customers.
