Piano Groove gives you all the tools you need to understand and play jazz. The rhythm of the lessons are just right and the voice of Hayden (the teacher) is wonderful to listen to.

Good information and coaching ... meets my needs

I like the idea of the 7 day trial for $1. It gave me a chance to thoroughly vet the program. The videos are high quality and right on point. The tutorials for different songs is quite good. Now that my trial period is over I’m going to move ahead with the monthly option.

Structured, targeted lessons for jazz piano that are comprehensive as well as challenging. There are many printed resources to use. Good for ambitious beginners and up who have an interest in the going deep at various levels.

Easy to navigate format, excellent instruction, courses for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students.
Each course has printouts of sheet music and practice materials, which is very important. The areas of piano instruction covered by Piano Groove (blues, jazz) is very hard to find elsewhere. Piano Groove has done a brilliant job and I’m having a lot of fun!

New to PianoGroove, so far it has been great. It's nice to have learning paths to choose from. Very instructive.

For the self-directed and disciplined learner, this is an excellent course. Very well thought out with clear short lessons. Essentially nothing is missing in terms of theory, ear training, and a beginning approach to soloing, and the technical practice plans are good. You can pick and choose what you want to learn. Hayden is very responsive to questions. You can't get around the fact that playing jazz piano with any degree of proficiency is really, really hard and it just takes time. A lot of time.

As good as pianogroove is (and it's really, really good), there is no substitute for an in-person teacher who will sit and watch one play, decide what weak spots need work most urgently, demonstrate how to do stuff and make a plan for development.

Nonetheless, I am making much more progress than I anticipated with PianoGroove. Having done 2 years of it so far, I may soon have enough chops to go to a teacher!

Clear and concise demonstration of the concepts. Easy to understand. I just have to keep practicing your techniques.

The lessons were great. I found navigating the site a bit frustrating. It seems it should be easier to get an overview of what’s on offer. I kept getting locked into a path.

Awesome website and extremely productive.

What to say? It's just worth the money.
All the materials are prepared the way you couldn't find elsewhere.
Sometimes even excessively (IMO there's no need to repeat every thing around the circle of fifths).
Hope some day I reach the skills and filling the teachers have!

The explanations and analyses provided during the lessons are really great.
The web site organisation and docs are definitively great as well.

Hayden has so much passion about supporting the students to learn! He has splitted the most complicated concepts into little steps and I think I can finally learn to play jazz following this programme!

Loved everything about it

The site is very user-friendly, the lessons are easy to follow, very clear and progressive. I appreciate that questions/comments are always answered with pertinent suggestions, interesting ideas and also encouragements. Warm thanks to Hayden and the whole team for their enthousiasm, their involvement and the great job they are doing in teaching piano !

The instructions in the lessons are clear and helpful. Great teachers who seem genuinely interested in the students welfare, regards learning. Website user friendly. I can navigate to where l left off, with no difficulty.
