Great, professional removal company

We used Pickfords for a complicated move, where they packed up a house in London and then put all of this into storage. Then several month later helped us pack up another house and transport this from York to our new home in the North East and then a few days later delivered and unpacked our container that had been in their storage facility.
Overall, we found that everyone we dealt with either by phone, email, video call or in person were knowledgeable and professional, they quickly answered any questions we had and took away a lot of our the stress and that they cared about our belongings. As a last service they are now picking up the pile of cardboard boxes that we have collected, again taking away another stress from our shoulders.

Best experience possible.

I had the best experience possible when using Pickford's to move home. Everything went so smoothly. I'd like to thank my move manager Charlotte and Sally who I dealt with initially. The removal team were fantastic too. Everyone involved was so friendly and helpful.

Excellent service from start to finish!

Excellent service from start to finish!
Having used Pickfords a few times in the past, I am always impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail.
On this occasion, booking with Kellie was seamless, and the packing and moving team were excellent. Everything was packed and wrapped well and placed into storage.
When it came to moving to my new home, working with Kellie again was excellent. The moving in team of Phil, Ryan and Paul were very professional, patient and courteous, even on a bank holiday weekend.

Outstanding service

The whole process was made so easy by the lovely Kellie who was 100% available either by email or on the phone. She was very understanding and very patient and guided us through each step of the way. The removal crew was equally amazing. We were told when they would arrive and they were polite, considerate and very efficient with packing the furniture and everything else. I couldn't recommend enough.

We couldn’t recommend Pickfords enough

We couldn’t recommend Pickfords enough. From the initial home visit to pull together to the quote, right through to moving day the team were so professional throughout. Kaylie our moving manager was proactive, thorough and reassuring which was extra helpful as we had a few changes in dates. She explained everything to us in detail and made sure we knew the exact plan at all times which helped take the stress off the entire experience.

The removal team of three led by John (from the Cardiff team) were amazing. When they arrived to do the full pack the day before the we moved, they were all super friendly, careful and had an exact plan to work towards which all flowed so perfectly! On moving day they arrived with enough time to pack the final bits, built in the time for travel and did a great job of bringing in the furniture and boxes. They made us feel at ease throughout the entire process and we all had a few fun moments together in amongst the chaos, nothing was ever too much for them!

We would highly recommend the full packing service, it’s been amazing!

A good job jobbed!

I was very pleased with Pickfords from the planning, the packing, the move itself, all went well from start to finish. Well organised, punctual. Nothing was too much trouble for Kaylie & her team (PF26028754-01). They made what is usually a miserable experience into a tolerable one & you couldn’t ask for more than that.

US to UK shipment of personal effects

Pickfords handled the collection of some personal effects from a New York address for us. A complete service - packing of the items, shipment, customs clearance and delivery to the UK address. Shipment was by sea, so took around 6 months (not unexpected). Everything, including some very fragile items, arrived safely - very well packed. The delivery arrived within the timeslot we'd been given and the delivery guys were excellent.

A complete and hassle-free service.

I can not fault Chris Coombs and his…

I can not fault Chris Coombs and his team John, Alex and Carl from Exeter. Carl arrived shortly before Alex and John and walked me through what they would do and asked me where I wanted things placed. It was amazing the boys arrived and everything was placed exactly where I wanted. Nothing was too much trouble they respected our property and put down mats to protect the carpets, amazing, I would thoroughly recommend them and will be using them again in August for the second half of the move.

I hadn't used Pickfords before but my…

I hadn't used Pickfords before but my experience from just calling in to the depot in Truro through to starting my storage was very good . The process was simply explained and the paperwork took just a few minutes.
Every member of staff at the site and the office in Exeter have been very helpful.

Exceptional Service

Charlotte Boote and her team were exceptional

Emails were always clear, the removals team gave a half hour time slot and showed up promptly and were very polite and kind

Charlotte was always prompt to respond to emails and gave clear info. We are so far very pleased with Pickfords for our move from UK to Canada

Right from the start

Made good time but lacking in some areas

Arrived 2 and a half hours late due to driver not showing up and didn't take everything so we have to go back 80 miles when we don't drive. Will not use them again. Other than that they got it done quickly and set some things up for us where they should have been

Professional and efficient

The team arrived early and worked had to clear our house well before we needed to exit the house. They were quick and very professional.

On top of this, a last minute problem with our new home meant we could not move in on the same day and Pickfords were able to arrange storage for us at very short notice.

Absolute life savers!

Stress free three day move

Pickfords were impressive throughout our moving process. Lenita helped guide us through the booking of our move and answered all our questions, however daft. They provided all the boxes and wrapping paper we needed, hand packed all the fragile items (anything vaguely breakable) and were unfailingly polite and helpful. Due to the distance, our move was carried out over three days with two different crews. All were professional and worked so hard to get us settled into our new home. We have opened most of our 150 boxes and have found no breakages or damage. Carpets were protected and no scrapes to the house either. Perfect service and compared well on price too.

First class Jordan and Jay

Recently used Pickfords for our relocation from Notts to Norfolk, we were absolutely delighted with the service provided by Jordon and Jay. Over three days we found them to be professional, courteous and extremely hard working. They took great care of all our belongings and nothing was too much trouble. Moving home can be a stressful so it’s important to have confidence in your movers, particularly when it’s over an extended distance. Jordan and Jay gave us real peace of mind due to their first class attitude and approach they are a credit to both themselves and Pickfords. Thank you.

Excellent service

Excellent service. Video survey by Chris Taylor avoided anyone needing to visit our home for a quote. Bryony in the office was v helpful with the admin. John T. & Gav from Exeter and Carl & Ben from Truro loaded a great deal of our house contents carefully on two lorries and delivered it all safely. They unloaded it promptly and were happy to move a few items when we changed our minds about where to put them. We will certainly use Pickfords again - if we ever move in the future. Thanks.
