Really disappointed about this app
Really disappointed about this app I had faced to two incidents today and another day. The driver got more than my bill amount but in my app there was a lower amount than the drivers amount. Today I m uninstalling this app and the drivers are arguing about this and shouting. Please make this clear and check whether the customers bill amounts are tallying to drivers once. Don’t do this to people please.
21/2/2025 The Taxi to BIA Airport booked & confirmed 7 hours in ADVANCE never arrived, nor did they phone me!!
22/2/2025 I phoned PickMe call centre early afternoon and booked an A/C saloon car for a pickup at 9.30pm from my Nugegoda residence.
I received confirmation of booking via their phone App.
Alas, at 9.30pm their was NO taxi at my door to take me to BIA Airport Colombo.
From 9.35pm onwards I rang their call centre several times being assured that they'll track the driver assigned and send me a taxi ASAP, but no-one called me !!
So, while panicking thinking I will miss my flight, I called a taxi myself and got to the the Airport just as the gates were closing!!
This caused me so much anxiety.
NEVER use this company to go to an Airport, Hospital, wedding or a funeral or any time critical journey.
This company is utter rubbish and their Licence should be revoked until they take the CUSTOMER seriously.

Pick-me company and drivers unreliable and cheaters
So our experience started with what I thought was a rather inexperienced driver, then a issue with the route, we had already had a quote for the ride, when we had finally got to the destination, the driver showed us the cost( we were quoted Rs 6400 but we’re asked pay rs 9100 plus rs 400 for toll indicated that it needed to be paid as he had already advised that the highway was to be used, which also incurred a toll, after about a 20 min debate between his office & the kind boy who did the booking for us, & ourselves out of frustration we just paid, what a crappy experience, being from another country, didn’t want to escalate the situation. Drives name was Charminder. What a absolutely disgraceful way to treat your passengers.

Unreliable Service and Terrible Customer Support
I’ve had enough of PickMe’s unreliable service and terrible customer support. Recently, I ordered food using the card payment option, and the amount was deducted from my account. When the rider arrived, he claimed he couldn’t see the payment and demanded cash.
I immediately contacted PickMe’s support, and they admitted it was a system issue on their end. They promised to refund my money but never followed through. Despite multiple calls, emails, and providing the RRN number as they requested, I still haven’t received my refund. My bank confirmed no refund has been processed—it’s clear that PickMe is not taking responsibility.
This is not the first time I’ve faced such an issue with them. Their customer support team is unresponsive and keeps blaming the bank instead of solving the problem. On top of that, the food I received was of poor quality and didn’t match my order.
I’ve now switched to Uber for all my food deliveries, and their service is leagues ahead of PickMe. Payments are hassle-free, support is excellent, and they actually care about their customers.
PickMe, you need to fix your payment system and train your customer support team to handle issues professionally. Until then, you’ve lost my trust and my business.
THIEVES WORKING FOR PICKME
The PickMe driver that I used ( SANUJA RAJAPAKSHA) robbed my suitcase of an IPhone and Canadian cash. I was able to get my phone back but not the cash. Pickme is well aware of who the driver is and admitted that this person had taken my phone and cash. The driver even had the audacity to send a friend request on Facebook. A real weirdo.

Absolute scam company
Absolute scam company. Complained that the trip which was booked the night before was suddenly “cancelled” by the driver and then wanted to take me for the same ride at double the price. Called PickMe support and they could care less about the situation. I only discovered after the actual driver was NOT registered with then and was using someone else’s account. I have reported this to the police.
Terrible Customer Service for Food
I have recently ordered food from pickMe for my father. That food was never received to him, but pickMe status from the driver was delivered.
I have complained about this matter few times (both calls and text).
But the pickMe agents just keep closing my incident ticket without trying to solve it. Once they have mentioned that they will arrange a refund, which never received.
More than food, I want to highlight the terrible customer experience.
I won't recommend pickMe for ordering food as there is no OTP system and no good customer service.
Think twice before you place an order with this company for food.

Ok for short journeys but got scammed going to the airport. I booked PickMe for my friend who was flying back. The driver arrived and when he realised the person who had booked wasn't in the car the price charged was much higher than the quoted price. I complained and they said I had chosen the wrong airport. Then they said that I hadn't selected the route with the tolls, even though my friend paid all the tolls herself.

It's the first and only time I've booked a trip with PickMe. Prices must be clearly defined! The trip was offered to me at 4334, at the destination I suddenly had to pay 5988 in addition to the 500 rupee toll. That's not possible, PickMe has no added value except for PickMe.
Irresponsible work by PickMe
I booked mini van pick my daughter and her friend from a hotel in Kaluthara a day earlier. In the last minute they said no drivers available and cancelled the trip on their own which was really shocking. I couldn’t imagine a taxi company can do a thing like that putting us in a very difficult situation. I thought I will never go on pick me again on such an irresponsible people.
The pickme app works fine but too expensive
The pickme app works fine, you find a driver he finds you so far so good. I had a rather long ride that was estimated to 26.000 lkr but he ended up charging me 33.000 lkr.
I complained to pickme but did not get any response.
So do not use for long trips

I downloaded the Pick Me app and it continuesley froze when I tried to enter the payment information. After several attempts, my number was blocked. I called the customer service three times. Each occasion the response was that we will raise a ticket regarding this matter. But, never resolved the issue. Terrible customer service!!

Most of the cab drivers nowadays don't put AC during the ride and when we request to put, they start complaining, this specially happens when ladies go as passenger since they are helpless. These drivers become rude when asking after paying for the ride. It's terrible and please train your staff properly. This is bad for the company and the passenger are at risk.
