Unreliable customer service
I’m extremely disappointed with Pictory’s customer service. I have a fixed upload schedule for YouTube, and two of my videos ran into a download error. I reached out to customer support well in advance with all the information they needed and explained when the issue needed to be resolved, since the video had to go live on a specific date (they had more than a week).
I received a reply the next day saying they would look into it and update me. After that… nothing. I emailed several more times, reminding them that the upload date was getting closer, and still got no response.
I’m very dissatisfied. A platform like this should be reliable, and when issues occur, they shouldn’t interfere with their customers’ upload schedules. I would skip Pictory — and that’s entirely because of their customer service.

I have used Pictory for 2 year
I have used Pictory for 2 year. First year the budget plan, this year the standard plan. However I am going to cancel this end of this month.
1. 11 labs voices you get are not as good as 11 labs.
2. AI video clip selection is very bad. It selects video clips on a single word in the sentence. If I do a video on "diabetes reversal" it would have a video on a car reversing.
3. They don't respond to questions promptly. I have never had a real answer except some AI-generated Bullxit.
4. Have not been able to monetise the channel after 2 years try. I have another channel on the same subject, manually done on the same subject in my mother tongue. Created more than 600 videos, but just a waste of time and money.

Pictory is a Great tool with awesome Support when you need it!!
Yash and the entire Pictory team provide the best support that I have ever experienced. There is no video generation tool quite like Pictory and I don’t know what I would do if I had to choose a different process. The Pictory platform is consistently being improved with new functions that have made each video that I have generated better than the last! 🚨 Beware – Lifetime Deal That Vanishes Overnight!
I purchased Pictory AI on AppSumo at Tier 3 - the highest level, specifically because it was sold as a lifetime deal. Yet now, my account suddenly shows as expired, and I’m being forced to pay for a subscription just to access the features I already paid for!
This is dishonest and unacceptable business practice. When a company promotes a lifetime deal, customers expect lifetime access, not a bait-and-switch that locks you out months or years later.
I reached out for support and found zero accountability. Instead of fixing the issue or honoring their promise, Pictory is pushing users to migrate to their paid plans, leaving early supporters stranded.
It’s deeply disappointing to see how Pictory has handled this: no transparency, no respect for existing customers, and no integrity. Many AppSumo users like me helped this company gain traction early on, and this is how we’re treated.
If you’re considering investing in Pictory, think twice. A company that doesn’t honor its commitments cannot be trusted with your time or money.

Stay away until they make things right for lifetime tier holders.

That said, it would’ve been great if this issue had been noticed and corrected proactively, lifetime deal users shouldn’t suddenly lose access without warning. I’m glad it’s now resolved and hope future checks prevent similar issues for others.

Good, but limited stock videos for my use-case
It's awesome, don't get me wrong, but you guys need waaaaaaaaaaaay more stock videos. Way more.
I know you have a lot, but maybe then it's just the type of videos I generate. I need more fintech, crypto, business and abstract concept-related videos that have to do with AML/ATF compliance, its probably why it seems limited for me.

Do not waste your money. I paid for it, it glitches out and didn't work at all. I found something thay did work.i asked for a refund because i used it for two hours trying to complete a project and wasted my time and money. I asked for a refund and got a bunch of ai emails back not answering my questions at all. Of course, I didn't get the refund. I'd give 0 stars if I could
