Chris was so helpful on the phone today made things real simple and effortless when explaining things. wish all staff were like this friendly and kind and helpful when calling companies

My experience is related to customer support and Chris did a great job there. Patient, clear explanations, very responsive and helpful.
The service in general is good with a nice app

Do not use this company to install solar panels!!! We have had issues right from installation, with nobody able to give us proper answers. Two weeks ago the system completely stopped working and we were told they would send out an engineer. This never happened and now no one in the company is returning our calls or emails. A member of their own staff agreed that it was a terrible service and that they were leaving to join another company.

Spoke to Chris in customer support, and to say he was pleasant and extremely efficient and helpful would be an understatement. I emailed him with a slight issue I had and literally 10 minutes later he was on the phone to me. Another 5 minutes and I’m sorted, no messing. If only all customer service experiences were like this.

I tried to join online (website). After entering my card details correctly twice, I was told that I had entered them incorrectly and I would have to phone.

Probably a good thing, as when I did phone, I had to go through all my details again. When being read the terms and conditions, it was made clear to me that I was locked in for 12 months and that Pinergy had the right to increase prices within that 12 months, but I would still have penalties to leave. When I pressed on this, I was then informed that the rates I had been quoted would be increased in 20 days' time. If I hadn't have specifically asked, I would not have found that out.

Given that it typically takes 14 days to switch supplier, it seems poor business practice to quote a rate that is going to increase in 20 days.

Combining a variable rate tariff, lack of transparency about a planned price increase in 20 days' time, and a fixed term contract with charges to exit, does not describe a company that I would do business with.

Customer service representative I spoke to was polite and very clear and knowledgeable. Made the process smooth and straightforward and he was patient with listening to concerns and resolved them promptly.
