Over 2 years of delays, broken written promises, and now completely ignored

My experience with Pinnacle has been extremely disappointing and is still unresolved after more than two years.

I instructed Pinnacle to transfer a property into my name and paid the required fees upfront in good faith. The file was handled by Mahruf Razak, and from the beginning the progress was extremely slow. I had to repeatedly chase for updates and was given ongoing assurances that the matter was in hand, yet nothing meaningful was completed.

After a very long period of delays and the stress this caused, the issue was escalated and I was contacted by Philip Harris, Customer Experience Manager, who acknowledged the situation. He confirmed in writing that, as a gesture of goodwill for the unacceptable delay, the work would be completed free of charge.

Based on that written commitment, I expected the matter to finally be resolved.

Unfortunately, since that promise was made:
• My emails have been ignored
• No updates have been provided
• No timescale has been given
• The property transfer is still not completed

This is particularly concerning given that:
• The original payment was taken immediately
• The delay has now exceeded two years
• The agreement to complete the work is clearly documented in email

I have been more than patient and reasonable throughout this entire process, but the complete lack of communication and failure to honour what was promised has left me with no confidence that Pinnacle intends to resolve this matter.

As a result, I am now preparing to pursue formal legal action to enforce the written agreement and recover my losses.

This review is a factual account of my experience and is based entirely on documented correspondence.

I would strongly advise anyone considering using Pinnacle to:
• Ensure strict timelines are agreed in writing
• Think carefully before paying upfront
• Be prepared to chase regularly for progress

A straightforward property transfer taking over two years, followed by a written goodwill promise that is not honoured and then complete silence, is simply unacceptable

Philip was so helpful and really went above and beyond.

Made the whole process as a first time buyer very easy to understand. I knew what was expected from me at every stage, and was helped with things that didn’t make sense to me at first. Umer was very on top of chasing the vendors solicitors when delays occurred and I felt like he was working very hard in my best interests. Couldn’t recommend them enough.
