Excellent. The company keep in touch with you daily which confirms the device is working. Initial instructions on app a little strange, hence 4* Instead of 5 but otherwise completely satisfied.

The battery has only lasted eight months, and they don't recommend changing it. Why would I sign up for a year-long contract? Not that impressed...

The reason why we don't recommend you change it is because you have a GPS tracker and this has a battery built in that you cannot change.
Hopefully we can get to the bottom of your issues and reach a resolution to keep you and your dog safe.

Although my young dog has a good recall, occasionally she will get a sent of something on our walks and has been out of earshot long enough for me to become concerned. I'm hoping that my PitPat tracker will restore my confidence when I walk her off lead in the woods The PitPat website was very comprehensive and I was able to find the answers to all my questions there. I was surprised how easy it was to get started with the PitPat tracker, as I'm not at all confident with phones and tech but everything worked on the first go My dog wears her tracker all the time, as it also monitors her activity levels and I can see how busy we have been Fortunately, I have not had to track my dog for real but I have tried it out I'm my garden and it works fine and quickly. The map is clear and unambiguous, so I have confidence that I would know which direction to walk to find her, should she have run off out of hearing distance

Definitely waterproof as my dogs love swimming. Robust on forest walks. The Velcro is really strong and long enough and holds securely to the collar. Nice you don’t have to buy a monthly plan only if you want to record walks.

I recently upgraded from a [quite old] activity tracker to the GPS version. I really wasn’t sure it was gonna be worth the difference but it really is. The activity data is a lot more accurate and now I can see how much distance we’ve covered. I’ve only had a play with the GPS location, it can be a little slow to load location if not in walk mode but I can see there is a trade with speed versus battery life
