Fraud/Scam dispute claim case against Pixel
Unfortunately Pixel Inventory London (Pixel) services deteriorated over the years. Instructed Pixel to carry out a Check out, Check In and Key Handover and provide the corresponding three reports i.e. Check Out report, Check In Inventory report and Key Handover Inspection report. The tenant advised that someone who said they were acting on behalf of Pixel, handed the keys over to them on arrival. The person refused to identify himself when the tenant asked for his name. He did not ask the tenant to sign anything for the keys or otherwise and promptly left.
Not receiving any Check Out report, Check In Inventory report or Key Handover Inspection report from Pixel. I emailed the owner of Pixel, however received no reply from her. A man from Pixel replied. I asked him what was the name of the person who Pixel supposedly sent but he did not reply to this. He only replied to say that there was "a technical issue with the Inventory system" and they would provide a full refund within 5 - 10 business days. To which I replied I would much prefer to receive any "reports" that were created from the day. He replied as a refund is being actioned they won't be able to provide the "reports"...
Over one month later the full refund had not been actioned. Conscious of Pixel's Delivery and Right to Cancel deadlines. It was required to open a Fraud/Scam dispute claim case with my bank against Pixel. Only then did Pixel refund the £135 cost for the reports not provided. Needless to say I will not be using Pixel's services again.
Update: Not successful in getting this review taken down after attempting to flag it as not genuine, Pixel flagged the review again, this time for having the name of the owner. I've had to remove her name, otherwise Trustpilot would take this review offline, when three of the 5 star reviews have her name. The other 1 star review by someone else has unfortunately been removed.
