STAY AWAY from Planet Dish!

They promised a $100 gift card when I signed up and then I called to check the status of it. They told me to call Dish's main number to check. Called Dish's main number and they said they have nothing to do with the gift card. Called Planet Dish again and was told they don't have the code for the $100 gift card and I won't get the gift card. STAY AWAY from Planet Dish. They are a bunch of LIARS. I recommend signing up with Dish Network's main service. Planet Dish is a HORRIBLE affiliate of theirs and they have the worst customer service.

Lied to me.

Promised. A $300. Visa card and never set it. When you call they hang up.

I did not cancel the service. I have had it for 4 months. I am stuck with it for a year.

Don't use planet Dish.

Very very upset. Got charged 49.99 for a processing fee? Called customer service to complain and they reviewed my call. Kept me on hold for 40 minutes then told me their representative mentioned the charge but it was in the last 30 seconds of my call after I was on with he sales person for an hour. I was done with his bs and just wanted dish network. Come to find out this isn't actually dish network it's a retailer that can charge $50 whenever they want. Not happy. Do not! I repeat do not get service from them. Had 3 other charges from random companies charge my account too and see other people had this issue. They sell your card number to other companies after already being shady themselves

Do not deal with these people

Do not deal with these people. They give your credit card information to several other companies for overpriced and unwanted services. There is almost no way to cancel these other services until your credit card is hit. They offer identify protection and anti virus protection with unreasonable monthly charges. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GET DISH ELSEWHERE

Well I had a Awsome guy that came and install the new equipment I really satisfied with the customer service and the next day installation was awesome better than DirecTV, trust me when I say so I had DIRECTV for more than 7 years but this time Dish was 100% on top of DirecTV. The technician who install my equipment very polite and respectful I have a kid 1 yr old and he doesn't, want to make sound so he cant wake her up and that makes my day.

POOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not have Planet dish, when I was going to use your service and understood what I was ordering I would be receiving, then I got an email and it was not what I was told I would be getting, so I cancelled my entire order!!!!!!! I spoke with customer service and was told it was not a problem with cancelling the order!!!!!!!!!! It was not installed, so STOP SENDING ME ANYMORE EMAILS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Issues

DISH does not live up to their advertised expectations.

More often then not I write a review when
I've have bad experiences and not good experiences. So this is a bad experience. DISH says they show locals sports team(NBA,Pro Baseball) but they have to blackout some games. They do not tell you how many games were blacked out the past year which would give a new customer a chance to know what to expect. With only 17 days of DISH service only once did the program say it would be blacked out. Three other times I recorded the Local NBA game only to have nothing be recorded. So far only 3 of 7 was I able to view which is less than 50%. Then DISH tells you how to set up your favorite channels and that works for 3 days. Now when I power up the TV it goes to 412 sports channels and now I can't even punch in any channel number to watch anything else. So I call to ask if they can reboot and give me new software to clear this problem and they will not do this. So now every time I turn on the TV I have to push the RED button then click on All Subscribed Channels for my favorites. Direct TV only had one way of getting to your favorites and DISH has two because they have problems they won't fix. Also there are some shows you tried to record such as Grey's Anatomy and they were not able to record it so you are out of luck again. Then I had Direct TV in January and they did not show NBC for a week. The first week with DISH and NBC was not available and it is already 2 weeks and increasing. I maybe stuck with DISH for another 713 days or I will probably pay them $20 a month to get out of this contract.

A Pleasant Experience from Beginning to Post Installation

This was undoubtedly the best experience I have had with a television provider. The Dish representative that I first contacted was honest, patient, happy to answer all questions and very clear on pricing and benefits.

The follow up installation was as promised; timely, efficient and non disturbing to our household. The selection of programming is a good as it gets and I am abundantly satisfied with the different choices that I was able to make,

No, none of the people at Dish are related to me, even though it sounds like I must be related to give such a glowing report; but not so. Dish simply has earned my praises!

Worst install I have ever seen

I have a brand new 2017 park model ... it was fully equipped to hide all cables between the walls and out to the exterior hookup which was already there. I told the installer 3 times where the "place holder" tube was to pull out and run the cables through or he could run the cable inside the tube before the ends were crimped on. Instead I have a mess of cable everywhere and out windows to a box he hooked up outside. He didn't even leave enough cable to rearrange it and try to hide it along walls and furniture. I was told by my neighbor that he was here for about 3 hours on his phone talking or texting or sitting in his truck smoking and wouldn't listen to them about where everything was inside and outside the home. It is very ugly and a big FAIL!!

Eric was the most detailed technician. Simply EXCELLENT!

Eric was the most detailed technician. His service was quite simply, EXCELLENT! He was concerned with my opinion of the installation. He knew that I was also a technician who knew how everything works down to a technical level. He gave his absolute best and did not shortcut anywhere. Not only am I pleased with the DISH product, but, the installation is beautiful as well. I have demanding standards and I am extremely pleased with the results. I am glad to have come back to the DISH network after my time horrid time with AT&T U-Verse. Well done, Eric.
