I’ve had a very bad experience with this app. They charged me twice, even after I contacted support to undo a mistaken subscription. I strongly advise others not to download this app, as it’s nearly impossible to unsubscribe or stop the payments

dont do it, takes hours to render things that are nto even accurate, and doesnt allow you to do anything once your render is in place. horrible UX, bad company

go elsewhere, honestly a waste of my money.

This planer lost all my progress I designed for a week.
They just say sorry- start a new project.

I downloaded the Planner 5D app on March 17, which promised a free trial period. On the same day, I canceled the subscription in my iPhone settings and deleted the app. Despite this, I was charged immediately on my credit card.

I contacted Planner 5D's support team, and they informed me that Apple is responsible for managing free trials. However, Apple refused to refund my money without providing any explanation.

Upon researching, I found that many users are reporting the same issue in the App Store reviews, indicating that this problem keeps happening.

This situation is unacceptable! As a customer, I followed all the correct procedures and was still charged unfairly. I expect the company to take responsibility and resolve this issue immediately.

I look forward to an urgent solution!

I signed up for a free trial a few weeks ago. There was a promise of a notification before any payment would kick in but that never happened and I have been charged £59.99 via Apple 3 days after signing up. I immediately queried this with Planner5D who took no responsibility and told me to contact Apple for a refund. I contacted Apple who then didn't take any responsibility for this shambles either, so - as it stands - my money has been stolen by this Apple-backed scam. To add insult to injury, upon logging into my account there is no option to cancel my subscription either, so, seemingly I can't even do anything about it!

The app itself is just terrible: completely useless and impossibly hard to use (for example, it's - allegedly - AI-backed version put a window right in the middle of a room which I then couldn't remove... etc. You're better off drawing things out yourself on a piece of paper).

Don't get caught out, avoid Planner 5D at all cost!

I was excited to try the 5D Planner app, especially for its AI planning feature, but it was a huge disappointment. First, the app promised notifications before the paid version would start, but I never received any—so I was charged without warning.

On top of that, the AI planner is basically useless unless you have a massive space to work with. I tried using it for a common-sized room, and it just wouldn't work. If an AI feature only functions in oversized areas, then what's the point? Feels misleading and not worth the hype. Definitely not recommending this.

Planner 5D’s Excuses & Lack of Accountability
Instead of owning up to the issue, they shift responsibility to their payment processor, ignoring that they are the actual vendor from whom the service was purchased.
They refuse to process a refund directly, even though they control the billing process and have the means to do so.
Multiple customer service representatives—"Elaine," "Jasmina," and "Kriss"—all repeated the same scripted excuses, showing no real attempt to fix the issue.
Their claim that they "cannot issue refunds" is false, as many companies handle refunds independently when customers experience unfair charges.
A Flawed & Potentially Dishonest Subscription System
Their billing system is broken, charging users even after they cancel.
They design their payment flow to make cancellation difficult, likely to trap customers into unwanted charges.
If you are wrongfully charged, expect no real help—only scripted responses and attempts to shift the problem elsewhere.

Better Alternatives That Respect Customers exist.

Planner 5D has no transparency, no accountability, and no interest in treating customers fairly. Their refusal to handle refund requests, misleading subscription setup, and ineffective customer service make it clear they prioritize revenue over user trust.

I highly recommend avoiding this company and opting for alternatives that actually care about customer satisfaction. Don't fall into the same trap I did.

Yet they did nothing and repetedly tried to place blame and responsibility on the 3rd party service provider. They say they want to help but kept my money and everyone elses and have done nothing to change even though this is a repeated issue everyone has. They have proven themselves liars and potentially scammers. AVOID THIS COMPANY!)

I recently purchased the Pro version of Planner 5D and was shocked when it suggested installing a shelf onto a window—an obvious impossibility.

This glaring oversight highlights the software’s lack of sophistication and practical awareness. If you’re looking for reliable interior design tools, I’d recommend exploring more advanced alternatives.

Worse app ever. The customer service is very poor and the app is not as expected. there are much better solution. It lacks of features and it is not easy to use. The customer service does not help...

I signed up for Planner 5D, expecting to try the service during the "1-week free" period, confident in my right to cancel if it didn’t meet my needs. However, due to a confusing and poorly communicated subscription process, I was charged for a yearly plan instead of receiving a trial.

When I reached out for clarification and a refund, I was met with rigid responses and no flexibility, despite the apparent confusion caused by their unclear policies.

I tried a web service for one day using a trial subscription, confident in my right to cancel during the cooling-off period if I found it unsuitable. However, due to a confusing refund policy, I was charged on the 7th day. I immediately requested flexibility, but they only offered a partial refund. The app itself is far from great, and it seems they are only interested in taking money.

I wanted to try out the free version before committing to a plan. Spent a few hours recreating my oddly shaped room in the tool only to find out that you're not allowed to do basic things like customize your window size on the free version. I expected I wouldn't get all the bells and whistles right away, but I thought it would have the basics. I just wasted a couple of hours, so figured I'd write a review to save others some time. Note that there's a steep difference in the monthly pricing if you pay by the month vs. annually. I'd recommend the developers offer a brief free trial instead of the current strategy.

The tool is cool, but it requires lots of training to make cool things. I struggled even with a simple square floor plan. I planned to do cool things, but the tool is too difficult to use. Stay away. Support even struggled.

Scam.
Lures you in with "free", can't do shit. Need to add CC to use it as trial. After period they instantly make it a yearly payment. No communication, nothing.
Impossible to cancel, $400 down the drain.

The company provides a delicate app and platform for planning interior designs. It is a useful tool for professionals and even for individuals who are just would like to plan his/her house/flat/room on his/her own

I love planner 5D. I've had it for years now. I'll be honest I didn't use it as much a few years ago but since I came back to it I realized how much more it actually offers. Learning videos. Tutorials. Contests. Customization.
I mean I'd give it a 10/5 stars lol I'm excited to play with it more now and I can spend hours just playing with it.

Planner 5D has so many great features and programs that you can use to create, build, and design projects and layouts. There is a large variety of furniture designs and patterns so you can be as creative as you want with your projects. The app continues to introduce new features and updates that only further enhance the experience with the app. I truly enjoy this app and really is an amazing app when I just want to play and create something fun and interesting. In addition, they have such an amazing customer service team! They are always so quick to respond and offer the best possible solution to any of the issues I might face. I really appreciate the help they offer.

So far this app has been a major upgrade from the the past 3D Floor Plan app....many more items, styles, and colour patterns, makes it almost easy, with a little time and patience...your visions can come to life. Am practice makes perfect, feel like am doing something constructive with my spare time....if you know what I mean, lol. I can't wait to download app onto PC to get a better user experience, got comfortable on the phone only..

The support team is great...they respond in with in under 5min...and assistance is on point

Deceitful company who makes it incredibly difficult to cancel during their trial period, doesn't respond, and then charges the full $400 for a year's supply instead of month which is advertised. Won't refund afterwards too and will charge a minimum of $50. Will be disputing this charge for extremely shady business tactics. Not even that good of a product as it is incredibly slow on web and they never let me get the desktop version.
