Customer Service made up for poor experience from DHL.

Only a small order of slug repellent (which is a great product) but the ordering experience was let down by DHL who sent me already expired delivery e mails and ultimately failed to deliver at all. I took up the issue with Plant Grow who quickly sent me out replacement plus bonus extra item. Impressed with the product and the service from this company.

Ordered items not turned up.

Ordered items. Never arrived. Plantgrow not responding.
Explanation: Apparently they were poorly packaged by Plantgrow so DHL failed to deliver items. Reported issue to Plantgrow: they promised to resend items. Items still not turned up & Plantgrow now gone quiet on me despite me emailing them asking for help about second parcel gone astray. No idea if Plantgrow actually despatched second parcel. Bit stuck now with no goods delivered and no customer service response from Plantgrow.

Terrible service

Terrible service, perished plastic and porcelain

I ordered a large bag of compost to fill some raised beds for a new hedge in my front garden. I received an email stating the courier company would be in touch to ‘schedule’ a delivery. They rang me on Tuesday when 10 or so minutes from my house when I wasn’t at home so couldn’t deliver, and subsequently said they would ring me next day (Wednesday) for delivery on Thursday. They didn’t contact me Wednesday so I had to ring them to be told my delivery would come again when I was not at home between 11am and 1pm. I described exactly where I would like the delivery on the left hand side of my 45ft front garden where the raised beds are. They put it as far away as possible on the other side of the garden. I rang them to ask why and was told ‘sir, Im not the driver’ to which I replied this whole delivery has been a shitshow from beginning to end, to which they said ‘don’t start swearing at me’ and hung up. Im now told they refuse to deliver any further deliveries to my house. This is simply a case of a delivery service not doing what they said they would do (twice)and hiding behind their apparent upset at me using the word shitshow. An extreme case of self-righteous indignation. The reason I was having to deal with the courier company exclusively was because PlantGrow were unforthcoming and said it was really nothing to do with them. I stated I had purchased the compost from them and the final conversation I had with a senior person said ‘we can’t possibly come all the way to Scotland to rectify this’. He hadn’t taken the time to realise my name is Scotland but I live in Oxfordshire and this was typical of the cursery way they treated this situation. I had mentioned I was a pensioner with high blood pressure but this fell on deaf ears. I moved the compost by hand over the weekend. To add insult to injury it contained 12 pieces of perished black bin liner and 4 sizeable pieces of porcelain. All in all a frustrating and disappointing experience. Iv’e taught and carried out environmental research my whole career and thought the sustainability and environmental claims of PlantGrow on their website were admiral but I wonder if they have forgotten some basic rules about customer relations and quality control. Never again.
