I wanted a company to clean my carpet and ensure it was dry in a minimal time frame. I was assured when I booked the clean, That my carpet would be clean in 2-5 hours. Platinum cleaners came out to clean my carpet and when the technician left, he said the carpet would be dry in 2 hours. 2DAYS later, my carpet was just about dry. I had my heating on constantly during that time, plus 4 electric fan heaters. Needless to say, I wasn’t happy and rang to speak to a manager first thing in the morning. I was promised a call back, but this never happened. I chased them several times throughout the day and finally the manager was free to talk to, by which point it was Friday evening and no one could come and extract the water out of my carpet. I was told that their policy was for them to send some one out to re clean the carpet before they would discuss a refund. (I’d just like to add that the carpet was cleaner, just that it took so long to dry and therefore potentially develop mould)
The technician came back out to reclean the carpet (which I didn’t want them to do really, but had to follow the steps in their policy before them even discussing a refund with me). I then rang to speak to the manager again and was told he was off sick but he would call me back straight away when he was back in. Surprise surprise, this didn’t happen and yet again, I had to chase them up. I was then disappointed to be told no refund or compensation would be given because they had been out to reclean my carpet. They have taken no responsibility for the fact my carpet took 2 days to dry instead of 2-5hours. They say that because they have been out to reclean and the carpet dried in the appropriate amount of time the 2nd time that they have stuck to their side of the deal.
The customer service in terms of calling people back is absolutely poor and their quote of ‘100% customer satisfaction’ is also a load of rubbish. I will never use this company again and I definitely will not recommend them to anyone.

Very disappointed that I picked this company. Paid upfront for carpets cleaning on 2 bedroom maisonette. Had it booked for the 16th between 4-5pm but at 3pm I receive a phone calling stating that the technician who was coming to clean my carpets is running late on another job so they will have to cancel and reschedule?!
I had spent several hours moving a lot of furniture in preparation for when they arrived and also had some time off work to get it organised. When I explained this to them and said I wasn’t happy as now I have to move all the furniture for no reason and now will have to do it again.
Nothing was offered as compensation for my time that was wasted or even money off the booking that they couldn’t make. I had to ask myself if anything could be done as obviously I felt let down by their company already I was offered a ‘free carpet/clean’. I explained that I have already paid them to clean all my carpets so have no need for that so instead was offered 20% off in the future if I wanted to hire them again!
lol i think not. Still waiting for the refund before finding someone else. Will definitely not be booking these again and have already shared experience on FB and Twitter.

Over 2 weeks since they failed to make the booking and still haven’t returned/refund my money for a job they cancelled. Absolute joke
I received an email on the 25th of November stating that my refund is being processed and if I’m unhappy to contact their complaints department.
1st is December and Still no reply or my money back so rang and demanded to speak to a manager who has now said that the company has gone into liquidation!!!
I will now apparently have to get my money back off the new owners who will be writing to me in due course.
This whole thing just looks like a scam to me now and am not holding my breath for anyone to contact me so have spoken to my bank.

I had my carpets and oven cleaned by the London team the carpets came up brand new (even showed me the after after I couldn’t believe it) my oven is all fresh ready for Christmas I would highly recommend and will be using again thank you Anita and the London team

Shocking job in York.
I booked in an end of tenancy clean, 6 hours. The clean was an absolute joke, the place was in horrible condition. I had run out time to clean it.
The result was the landlord complained and I have been charged from my deposit for another clean.
I complained and haven't even had a response, nothing. I provided video and pciture evidence.
AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I’m sure you’ve made your mind up not to use this company based on the many negative reviews and very suspicious positive ones, but sit back, relax and listen to my unpleasant experience
So the scene of the crime…..
2 bedroom flat with an oven clean - £340 - paid in advance (first mistake)
2 cleaners turn up and are done in 3.5 hours. That’s the equivalent of £48.50 an hour to clean so I’m expecting good things.
As you can probably guess, it wasn’t good - it was awful. Anita even had a cigarette on my balcony and left the used end in the ashtray for me to clean up.
I complained (with over 20 photos as evidence) to which I was told they’ll send another cleaner to complete the job.
No need Anita, I’ve already been to the store and spent the ENTIRE day doing what you couldn’t be bothered to. I had the estate agent carrying out viewings the following morning so it was a late night for me.
However in the true spirit of going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction, Anita offered a whopping £50 as compensation. That’s ~15% refund.
Taking into account the hours I spent cleaning (after the ‘professionals’ had been) you could work in a sweatshop and get a better rate than £50.
Anita wouldn’t budge and told me to escalate my complaint to head office…..And guess what head office can’t and won’t do anything because Anita owns the franchise. I was told they will ‘make a note and let her know’
What a brilliant company!
So there you go…. Cue a defensive and aggressive reply from Anita because of course her company is faultless and all these negative reviews come from dodgy customers like me!

My mother had a carpet cleaning service booked and paid for and they have failed to turn up on two occasions. This is very inconvenient for a 93 year old as we have moved furniture etc to make it easier for the cleaners. Have advised company we want money back in full and I would not recommend if you want a reliable service

5 star. Shame we can’t go 6 ! My mother is elderly and has some dementia. Trying to find a cleaning company that was good and vaccinated was becoming a real challenge. Bring on Anita and Sharon at Platinum Cleaners. From the get go they were friendly and extremely considerate of my mums welfare. My mums house is a London based 3 bedroom Victorian which rarely gets even a hoover between Platinum Cleaners visits. When ever the clean is completed the house simply gleams and smells fresh. The team work very hard on every occasion, really know their job and remain upbeat and friendly through out. When other members have attended the quality and delivery of service remains the same. The price well reflects the standards and I know from experience cutting pennies cuts quality and reliability and sometimes extra money doesn’t buy the expectation. So to summarise, over 3 years caring for my mother Platinum cleaners are hands down the best.

So had a clean done. Original appointment was cancelled on the day so fully understood. Then rebooked, they arrived and the clean of 3 carpets took less than 20 minutes. The carpet was soaked and once dried looked no better. The messed up my invoice which meant they didn't do my oven like originally said. Chased for weeks and to be told I'll get a refund. Still waiting. Sent loads of emails and calls for someone to call me and they didn't. So finally got through to the right person who said it would be Monday, it's now Thursday. I wanted a full refund as the work was not 5 star. Instead all I'm getting is the oven clean which I had to pay someone else to do and still carpets look rubbish. I'm in the Bedfordshire area. So I think they came from MK

bad experiences asked for a chair to be redone as not cleaned properly, was met with abuse on phone contact with district manager(West Midlands).very expensive and job not completed to a desired standard.
with the abuse I received I don't want any more contact with that particular manager,im disabled and it really scared me! I have written to my local trading standards and council as I think its dangerous dealing with this particular company.

This company is a FRAUD, avoid them. Never, never, never ask them for any job.
The services that they provide is shamefull, I couldn´t believe that they told me that the house was clenaed when I arrived there. ALL FULL OF DIRT AND DUST EVERYWHERE.
The manager from the complaint department are useless, the only thing they do is ignore your calls and messages. One day I called them 8 times, I was just told that someone will give me a call cuz the manager was busy.
Is shamefull the way they operate this company, from the recepcionist, to the manager until the cleaner. I cannot believe how any company would treat their custommers like they do.
I CANNOT BELIVE IT.

Please, please, please avoid the Hertfordshire franchise of this brand like the plague. I'd hate for anyone else to be ripped off like we've been. I should point out that there are multiple lies on their website (in addition to Trustpilots own warning), they are not on CheckaTrade, their staff are NOT employees (but self employed), their staff are not specially trained technicians (they are young girls who have received no training and are desperate for work) and they do NOT offer 100% satisfaction guaranteed. This is a franchise operation (something that is NOT made clear on the site) and they do NOT have regional directors to handle complaints (as stated multiple times in responses). You are NOT allowed to have the name or contact details of said 'regional directors' who are actually franchise owners. The people who turn up have to supply their own equipment hence what they turn up with is very basic and they charge a fortune! I would be happy to pay a high price for a professional service but this is no better than putting a sign up in a local shop window and seeing who turns up (which would charge around £12 a hour). If you charge a premium price you need to deliver a premium service. The 2 young girls who turned up to handle a Spring Clean started by reviewing my list (which I was advised to put together) and telling us all the things they couldn't do, which was most of it. They are not allowed to steam clean tiles (not sure why), they are not allowed to clean anything higher than their height, they are not allowed to remove scuffs, they are not allowed to use a damp cloth on woodwork (apparently they have to use a hoover which seems more likely to cause damage and doesn't do the job). Really all they are allowed to do is basic cleaning like dusting, hoovering and moping which is NOT what I'd asked/paid for. I raised a complaint with Matt, the Complaints Manager, who is just totally ignoring my texts and emails. This is how this company addresses 100% satisfaction guaranteed. I'm left with the feeling that Platinum Cleaners (or Perfect Cleaners which is another brand they use) are actually operating in a fraudulent manner. I can see no other reason why they think they can treat customers in this manner. I'm horrified by the thought that strangers came into my home for hours who I assumed were fully vetted and permanent members of staff whereas they were clearly self employed young girls who are not vetted. I'm in touch with Trading Standards on this matter and hope as many other disgruntled customers do the same. This very dodgy operation needs to be closed down pronto.

Do not let this man called GARETH HUGHES into your house or business. He is a FRAUD!
I paid Gareth £120 in advance for a carpet clean in October 2020. When he turned up, he met my builder who negotiated for him to turn up the next day instead as the house still had workers and debris. Gareth agreed amicably and left. Not only did he not turn up the next day, HE NEVER DID!!
I have called him at least 10 times and sent over 25 text messages. His excuses started from ‘sorry, I was really busy’ to ‘I have refunded your money yesterday, it should be in your account next week’ ‘please give me some time, my business is in debt’ ‘let me pay £60 first’ ‘to ‘ Don’t bother me!’ This dragged out for ~12 months!
He never refunded any bit of the money!! He stopped picking my calls and then called my bluff when I got through using my work telephone. What arrogance!!
I believe he has now left Platinum Clean, Wilmslow but the owners there bear equal responsibility. I have wasted my time chasing this fraudulent individual for 1 year and I am now reporting him to the police. £120 is not the end of the world but this individual is arrogantly fraudulent and, in my opinion, should not be trading.
