I would give minus stars if I could. I had to cancel my account because the website would not let me cancel a trial sub. I then lost access to all my paid plugins, I sent numerous messages to customer support and they never answer. I’m out a lot of money in software. The absolute worst support period.

As a customer for 12 years I will say now that Soundwide has take over Plugin Alliance gone downhill fast.
They don't honor their moneyback guarantee, so use a credit card for a charge back.
There are lot of options in todays market and I won't be spending anymore money with Plugin Alliance or any Soundwide own company.
German company that just doesn't care…
German company that seems to care a toss about their customers. Their login system is not working and plugins can't be activated. Password reset requests are not replied to and therefore bought plugins inaccessible. At best you get an apologetic email saying it will take them a couple of days to solve the problems and a 'happy festive holidays' message. How arrogant can one be!?
Bad customer support & relations
Bad customer support and even worst customer relations.
I've been an active subscriber for 2 years now but that is about to change.
I've signed up for a specific deal: 12 consecutive payments equal to a cashless voucher.
For some reason, I didn't get the voucher last month as it was supposed to happen. I searched for what was happening and it turns out that the company changed the rules of the subscription plans and there's no cashless anymore. I've contacted customer support and explained that I didn't get any mail regarding this matter and I was not aware of this situation. Sadly they said they "contacted" everyone in August and there are no more cashless vouchers.
How can a company change the rules without confirming that its customers are aware of a new situation? This something that I could accept for new customers not for old ones. How can a company not understand specific situations like this? I was one month away from the cashless voucher and the customer service don't care and just give me a standard response. Sadly this is how customer relations are destroyed. How can I trust a deal with this company? Surely I must be 200% alert to see if they not change the rules again and again.
Unable support
Unable support, absolutely not helpful. I came up with a not accepted VAT-ID and was just given generic answers. Even after I gave them the proof of my valid ID no reaction after a week.
This company is one of the worst in the industry.
Don't buy here, there are many better alternatives.
Mediocre product and terrible customer experience.
Like many others I've been caught by the auto renew with no warning for a service I thought I had cancelled. It's pretty reasonable to expect a reminder before renewal or a grace period after charging for a refund, reputable companies offer this. Plugin Alliance however send you an invoice after they've charged you and it says on that invoice that they will not refund subscription purchases. Obviously it's a common complaint, I made sure I've cancelled this time and I'm investigating a charge back with the bank. I haven't used any of their plugins since soon after I signed up - there's a few cool ones but a lot of crap, and the purchase prices are ludicrously inflated to make the sales look better. You also have to think that if the company really believed they had a great service and product they'd take criticism of their shady billing habits on board and offer a warning to people before charging the renewals, rather than reiterate the no refunds stance on the invoice - to me that acknowledges they know we're surprised the account still exists.
The worst company I've ever dealt with!
I ordered a yearly subscription to their MUSICIAN Bundle back in 2021 solely because of the Cash-Back voucher that came with the subscription.
This year the subscription renewed for another 12 months with no warning at all. I cancelled my subscription and asked for a refund but got nowhere with their "customer service".
I got another Cash-Back voucher so I figured I could use that on something, but when I tried it I could not spend it as advertised. I thought it may be a technical issue and so I contacted "customer support" and was told that the MUSICIAN bundle was now deprecated, my plan was now changed into a MEGA bundle, and my voucher had been completely changed behind the scenes into one that I can't use.
Instead of being able to spend $149.99 on anything in the store I apparently was only allowed to pick 4 items from a limited selection, none of which I can use.
A blog post on their site explains that the change was made on the 25th of August 2022 and even says that they'll honour previous subscribers to the MUSICIAN bundle.
I tried my best to explain the situation to Plugin Alliance, I've even said I'd accept a refund but they completely stonewalled me. They said that they won't abide by the original terms of my voucher at the time of purchase and they don't do refunds. It is company policy apparently.
If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Plugin Alliance now owned by scammers at Soundwide
Plugin Alliance use to be awesome and i have been a loyal customer for some time however since they became part of soundwide they are starting to embrace shady and dirty tactics with their customers. Funny to see the top comment of someone praising them that is obviously part of soundwide. Stay away from Plugin Alliance I had a membership that I was sure I canceled, and two weeks ago I noticed that they charged my card $99… I contacted them when I noticed the charge (a few days after the act) and said that it’s a mistake, and I won’t be using plugins due to lack of time, so please cancel it. And they practically told me to f off and refused to cancel and refund me. A decent company should recognize that it’s a yearly membership that barely began and I haven’t realy received any product. They are scammers and I am done with them for good.
Amazing Company; Why the Low Score?
I'm troubled by the reviews about this company. I expect these comments for Waves, but not PA. I've been buying and using their products since 2014. I'm on their subscription now and I've never had an issue. NEVER. The people making these horrid comments clearly don't understand subscriptions and why they're the best option (hands down). Putting anything less than 5 stars is absurd. This business is 100% legit and I will be continuing to use their products.

Over a period of 6 months and for a single monthly plugins pack these cowboys have charged me 30 times! That's 900$ when I should have paid £180. They now refuse to refund the money telling me that if I start another subscription without cancelling a previous then that's my fault. In fact what happened was that just about every month the system did not auto renew. So I setup the subscription again because it had failed. So instead of having one subscription I eventually had 6.....for the same thing!!!!!
Do not waste your money because you will ended up losing a lot. Oh and to add insult to injury, after telling me I can't get a refund they will no longer reply to any of my emails. Absolute SCUM!
Auto-renewal scammers
I was expecting an email shortly before renewal letting me know when my subscription ends like every other company I deal with does. Instead, they just charged me with no warning. Fortunately, I live in California which has an auto renewal law stating they have to inform of a renewal 15-45 days before a charge. If they do this to you and you live in California you can get your money back because they are flagrantly breaking the laws of this state.

Absolutely awful company. Probably it is ruled by Blackrock/Vanguard groups as it is strictly following the narrative or don't have it's own brain to be so racist. Deleted my account, I think, as it was registered with Ru domain mail. No matter for them where I live now, that I have Ukranian roots, and that musicians in general stand for peace & understanding.
