Experienced Tradesman for broad ranging projects.

I've worked with Pete on a few projects and its been a good experience so far. He offers good prices and quality is generally good.

He's punctual and delivers on agreed time.

We would certainly recommend Plumbpete to friends. He had done work for us a couple of years ago so we had no hesitation in contacting him again, this time to instal a new shower. He replied very promptly and arranged for the installation. Very efficient and cleaned up afterwards. Many thanks.

Hi, I can highly recommend Peter who actually repaired our gas fire following a blockage by a bird's nest in the chimney. The birds nest was removed by another party, but Peter initially removed the fire and then replaced it once the nest had been removed. He was very courteous and turned up when he said he would 👍🏽. Have asked him already to quote for some radiator works for my friend.

I gave him the contract to install a new combi boiler, may 2017. Very untidy work, left my walls with black marks from dirty fingers and suet from the welding gas cylinder.
Before taking the job, he told me he is gas safe registered, I made my enquiries and learnt his registration had expired.later before assigning him the contract he renewed his registration.
Refused to flush the existing system, increased the price by £250 half way through the contract.
Loud, rude and expresses highly disrespectful views towards women.
Within 5 months my radiator leaked.
My suggestion not to give him the contract, their are plenty in the market who can do a better job.

On the 6th April I put an inquiry to Plumbpete who I found advertised on Gumtree. He arrived on to look at the problem with my leaking shower and advised me that I should replace the shower as the cost to replace the seal would be the same. I did so taking his advise on the type of shower to order. On delivery of the shower it became clear that he had wrongly advised me on the type of shower however it has been fitted. He also increased the price of the job as there have been not easy to fit it. So the prise was instead of £60 to £110.00. He also used flexi pipes which have been bended and did not give normal water flow through it which also resulted water getting cold and pulsating shower. The same evening he left shower developed further problems such leak. I phoned him the same evening and advised the problem he promised to come back the same week on Friday. After he took my money he has never came back and ignored my phone calls and messaging even he promised he does give 1 year warranty on any jobs he completes and he is not ripping of people.
However following this experience I feel very let down and ripped off as I have been left not only with leaking shower but out of pocket £320 as shower cost was 210 and fitting £110. I had around more qualified plumper’s which advised me that there was definitely wrong type of shower installed incorrectly.
I would suggest do not use his service and strongly recommend getting somebody who has very good experience and only go from recommended people.

Pete is a good, safe and trust worthy guy. He is one of the very few guys I would trust to let into my house.

I used Peter to install a new heating system into an old one bed flat. He showed me his gas safety ID upon meeting with him. Peter was very reliable throughout the job. Peter went through each room and we discussed wher was best to hang rads. Peter finished the job on time and I will I get him again in the future for my yearly boiler service.

Have used Plumbpete several times, most recently installing a new combi boiler. Not only was I pleased with the workmanship, I found him to be reliable and the prices most reasonable. Would be pleased to recommend.
