Damaged phone and got bullied online publicly by the company

The jeans are very comfortable but buyer beware… the phone pockets are placed behind the seam so the phone can come into contact with the saddle (or anything else you sit on), especially if you’re a larger size. This happened to me on the very first time I rode in these jeans. I put my iPhone (in a protective case) in the thigh pocket. I did a 20 min very basic ride in the arena. I pulled the phone out of the pocket and the back was shattered. I’ve ridden for years in riding pants with thigh pockets and never once damaged a phone. I wrote to the company. I got a fairly blunt letter back saying it has never happened before and it was my own fault. It got worse from there. The company posted publicly on their facebook page about the incident saying that I wanted my phone replaced (I did not ask for that) with eyeroll emojis. The comments were brutal… calling me a scammer and worse. I made a very professional comment explaining my side. I got blocked and my comment removed. Other people I know tried to set the story straight. They were blocked too and their comments removed. I have screen shots of it all.

So now i have a damaged phone and have been bullied and harassed by the owner of the company online. It is childish and unprofessional. This situation would have been so easy to fix with very standard customer service skills. Instead, I was bullied and mocked and told there was nothing they could do. What an awful company to treat customers this way.
