Scamming Company we tried to cancel our…

Scamming Company we tried to cancel our yearly plan, but they delayed this until the 30-day auto renew arrived. We tried to work with them to reduce the plan cost, number of seats etc. but they just went ahead a charged our card. We are now trying to reverse the changes thru the bank! Stay away from them there is a lot better content out there!

Scammers.

Scammers.
Bought 1 month because they have an offer, used the credit card and that month was paid, then the next month I received an automatic payment of 3 times the price of the courses (a month I didn´t even bought).

After contacting them they just told me politely that they stole my money and I have nothing to do about it. I am investigation how to sue them.

If you still decide to buy this, be sure to use paypal with the exact amount of money or you will find surprises.

Borderline Theft

Do not use this site. Was told it was a good service by obviously paid reviewers. I purchase a subscription and begin taking a class. It’s just not my type of learning. I ask for a refund for the 51 weeks I have left on the subscription; customer service says send a letter and there is not a single employee who handles refund cases. I send the letter, 2 months of nothing. I call and I’m told “we don’t offer refunds”! There are plants of other services out there, do not purchase this one...unless you want your money stolen!

Easy to get locked out of account

I tried using it on another device and was locked out. BE CAREFUL! The support staff was very rude putting the onus on me like I had put all my login on a billboard and told everyone to use it. They told me that I had two more strikes left and my account will be suspended. Shame on me for wanting to sit on my couch and use my iPad. I still can't access my account. Will not renew.

Extremely poor experience !!

Extremely poor experience !!

* I had a paid Individual plan.
* The training videos were playing in a shaky manner despite of having god network speeds.
* I decided to unsubscribe my plan.
* It did not show any refund options.
* Moreover, it also did not allow me to remove my credit card information from my account.
* One of the options said I can remove my personal information.
* I chose that option, and unsubscribed myself. I got an email for confirmation, which I had to confirm back within an hour. I did so.
* Just to find out that my entire account was deleted !!
* I still had a paid subscription period of 10 more months.
* I wrote to their support, asking for clarification, on whether I can continue to use my already paid subscription, for the remaining time. If not, then in a pro-rated fashion my remaining subscription fees should ideally be refunded.
* I get a very inconsiderate email back, saying that I cannot get that refund, moreover the account also is gone.
* HAPPY FREE MONEY PLURALSIGHT !!

Dishonourable Business Practices

Pluralsight's courses are good and their platform is good, but their business practices are less than honourable.

I was regularly called by an account rep, and before our account expired I informed the rep that we would not be renewing our subscription. I wrote to the account manager on at least one occasion saying the same, with no reply.

A month later, and after many more past due-invoices, I was contacted by their billing department, threatening to report us to a credit agency. I explained the situation and was told that we had to opt-out in writing 60 days before our one-year subscription ended. Why didn't the rep tell me this or return my email?

Be very wary when entering into a contract with Pluralsight.

BE AWARE

**UPDATE**

After a second email pluralsight have agreed to make an exception to their policy and refund me my money. Whilst i am thankful to the polite and professional agent who dealt with my issue, i still feel companies should operate with greater integrity and give an option during signup to continue the subscription after the initial trial period. It does feel as though they purposely have their billing setup in such a way that it is an effort that many wont bother with to obtain a refund and will just simply cancel any further payments, of course this is just my opinion.

***

BE AWARE. Pluralsight will trick you into taking your money. I signed up for a 'free trial' I got distracted by the real world (i know unbelievable) 2 months later i found nearly £50 has been taken from my account. This company operates a policy of we are going to stay as quiet as possible and take all the money we can from and only send you notifications after the fact, they then make it VERY DIFFICULT to get this resolved and so far i have not been able to get any money back. I have never used anypart of the pluralsight service during the free trial or otherwise and they still think it is acceptable to take my money from me. This type of behaviour from companys has to stop and should be a default opt in to continue the service or at the very least given an option to choose not to continue after the trial. In my opinion this type of behaviour is akin to common theft.

Terrible Customer Support.

Terrible Customer Support.

Asked whether they could extend the Trial Period for 1 Week, since I had a very busy week and haven't had the time to watch any video on the platform. Refused to even consider it after several emails back and forth. Wouldn't have been a problem at any other company.

This just shows me as a potential customer that the support team probably won't be supportive after I sign up for a paid plan. I expected nothing and was still utterly disappointed.

Horrible customer service

Horribly useless rude "customer service" who will try to scam you out of your money unless you repeatedly complain and request a refund for unwanted renewals - then they will be rude and arrogant to you before FINALLY refunding.

Awful to deal with, incompetent, rude and obnoxious customer service who lack the absolute basics of how to provide good service. There are far better sites for training, choose carefully and don't give these sleazy con artists a penny.

Best IT learning platform

It is awesome. Always improving the platform and adding nice courses and features.
The only gap is that we cannot request for enhancement, like learning paths or video subjects. But it stills great.

Such a Great Learning Experience

Pluralsight has helped me to keep my skills up to date to remain competitive. As someone who has been as a developer for over 21 years, it is increasingly harder to keep up with new technologies that are growing/changing at a very fast pace. Dedicating my working hours to acquire new skills is no longer an option for me. Pluralsight has come to the rescue by providing me with a learning platform that allows me to study at my own pace and convenience and at a very reasonable price. They've offered me contents that are relevant to my area of expertise. Instructors have created the courses in a way that is both very friendly and easy to follow without sacrificing contents and I am always free to come over an over again to those concepts that are hard to grasp until I finally get it. I can also always come back and use the materials as a reference in those cases where I find my self in a situation where I say "...hey, I remember that I saw this in such and such course...How did the instructor did it there ...?. That is something that boot camps do not offer. And when it comes to learning a totally new skill, their knowledge paths feature have offered me an excellent experience that have lead me from zero to hero. I highly recommend this platform to anyone who needs to stay up to date and who's disciplined enough to learn by him/her self.
