Somewhat unhappy Pluto TV user

Every time I put it on it's always cutting in and out buffering, repeats. A lot of times it'll just stop for what seems like minutes.Too frequently pop up saying "we're having trouble playing this title" Frustrating and annoying when I'm trying to watch listen or want to hear something. Reminds me of back in the day physically adjusting the antenna trying wanting it to work right 🤬

Horrible amount of commercials - Unwatchable

They are shooting themselves in the foot. Started watching it from the beginning but avoid it now due 100% to the amount of commercials. Much worse than Over The Air tv. Just their regular shows are bad enough, but the On Demand programming is totally unwatchable.

Way too many commercials and even very long durations showing only Pluto screen.
Seems like more time watching commercials or Pluto screen than the show you try to watch.

So much time set aside for commercials they can't even fill the time reserved for commercials.

Seems like 3 minutes of showtime and 7 minutes of commercials.

This is the worst streaming service I’ve ever in my life dealt with. I’ve never experienced so many complications with any app or service before Pluto. I’m genuinely not going to watch the new Georgia and Mandy show just because of how much complications I’ve had with Pluto

Annoying ads back to back

I'm shocked seeing the reviews. For the service of course. I'm not having the issues. Many others do with buffering. All that I just hate the ads. With it being a free service. Guess you can't complain to much. Seeing you can take it or leave it. My only questions is to. Whoever decided to do the ads. Why they placed them like they did. Hate them but having them. Run back to back. The way they do on some shows. Barely allows you to enjoy the show. Seems there are alot of issues. That need to be addressed here. Since it's a free site. Doubt that will happen. If someone takes the time to care. Here is where they'll know. Where to start improving things now. Hope people know about the other sites. With more up to date shows. They can get stream. That are free to watch. With those annoying ads still. Still free so what can you do.

Like TV, But Better in Every Regard!

I love Pluto! Since I discovered Pluto, I never turn on my TV. There's no need to - Pluto does everything cable TV does, but does it much better. There's always something to watch among Pluto's huge selection of shows and movies. Best of all, most of them are available on-demand and totally free!

Just being able to watch The Andy Griffith Show whenever I like is awesome! Then there are nature shows, military history, comedies, etc. Everything I want to watch and plenty that I didn't even know I wanted to watch, besides.

I also appreciate that there are considerably fewer commercials than cable or other platforms like Tubi. That said, the ones pushing podcasts (Brandon Schaub, 'B*tch Bible' and 'I've Had It' with Jennifer Welch) are grating and overplayed. In fact, the Brandon Schaub Show commercial may well be the worst ad I've ever seen!

Glitches have been very few, though I watch @ pluto.tv via Firefox browser and landline 5G, so I'm not using the app and wi-fi which seem to be causing problems for others. Using full screen sometimes caused the program to occasionally skip back 5-10 minutes (because ads didn't work properly, I think) which was mildly annoying, but that's not been a problem since I switched to watching in windowed full screen.

Highly recommend giving it a shot as there's nothing to lose!

Pluto TV is garbage

Pluto TV is garbage. Worst TV app I've experienced to date. Searching for specific shows or movies is very frustrating. There's many other nuances also but not worth the time to go into. Put it this way, if they offered me $500/month (paying me, yes) and it was my ONLY TV app, I would turn down the deal. As of today, their rating is 1.8 stars. I really wish they would start introducing 0 stars because there is absolutely no redeeming qualities to this app. Seeing those 1.8 stars gave me some relief for I was concerned I was just being grumpy....

GARBAGE!

GARBAGE!! The buffering is the worse. You finally pick out a show, another one streams. And don't complain, because there is ZERO customer service. Waste of streaming. Someone just needs to ax the service completely.

Used to be good but they ruined their own service

Terrible. It's bad enough that they have always had excessive commercials but then they added a nag popup that forces you to answer "no" to creating an account, this nag message appears every time you use the service.

Now to make it even worse, shows that used to be available are now blocked behind an account. They want you to see excessive commercials AND to spam you and distribute your email address and contact info.

No longer worth it and a good example of how to ruin your service. I don't use Pluto anymore and instead I've gone back to the Ship where I download my stuff for free because every time I give legit services a try, they ruin it. And now... I can watch my shows for free, on demand, and with ZERO commercials.

Pluto tv is ok, not bad 🙂

I am giving Pluto tv 3 stars because it does take a while to load the channels, and it does have some programs I don't like, and the app may be broken 30% of the time. The things I like about this streaming service is that there are good programs I like, They have few ads, and they have great shows. 7/10, I recommend this service if you want decent programs and few ads.

Dumb podcast commercials.

The only thing I don't care for would be the dumb podcast commercials. Also everytime I open the app it has to ask if I want to sign in. If I haven't signed in the last 200 times why would I want to now? Otherwise Pluto has programs i enjoy.

Pluto is a sad excuse for a TV service

Pluto is a sad excuse for a TV service. I use a number of apps on my Roku TV, and all of them work fine, except for Pluto (this is not an internet problem). The video and audio frequently go out of sync, the signal freezes at least once a day, and often, in the middle of a program, Pluto will close and return to my TV's home page. Pluto has had these tech problems for as long as I've had it - a year at least. Friends and family have the same complaints.
I get it that ads are the price we pay for "free" TV, but compared to other free services, Pluto's advertising is excessive. I do not recommend Pluto.

Honestly I just watched this channel…

Honestly I just watched this channel for the first time today on Roku TV. Oh my God this is the worst station I've ever seen in my life who in their right mind would want to watch a station that has a commercial every 90 seconds and then finishes it off with this retarded sounding music which is the word Pluto will be right back for the next 2 minutes after that? I guess blind or deaf people might be their major customers but not me anybody foolish enough to watch this deserves it
