Easy sign up and booking. Fantastic way to meet new people and build connections. I was nervous to try something new at first but so glad I did.

What a fantastic idea! I had a really lovely evening and met some wonderful women who I’m meeting up with again!
A seamless experience, from completing the quiz online to finding out the location and the night itself. If you’re looking to meet new friends then I’d highly recommend Storiboard.

Such a fun experience. The environment was great and there was such a wide mix of people there to connect with. So glad I took this chance. The only caveat to my experience is that I was by some margin the youngest person there which did initially make me feel a little out of place. That being said though would 100% go again

I’ve had a fantastic experience with Storyboard! The variety of events they offer each week is amazing. From bowling and darts to karaoke and dinners. It’s incredible and great value for money. My personal favourite is the karaoke nights! It’s a wonderful way to make new friends or just have a fun night out without the hassle of planning. Highly recommend it!

Really great concept I’ve enjoyed three storiboard dinners in Newcastle - one a tapas restaurant I know and like where there were 8 of us, an Indian / Sri Lankan restaurant where I enjoyed going to for the first time with 5 others and last night I was so excited to head to a Thai restaurant I love and have been excited to go again and met up with 7 others.
Everyone is in the same boat conversation flows, sometimes people go for drinks after and it’s also possible for Storiboard to set up a WhatsApp group afterwards if you want to stay in touch.

I’ve been to 3 Tuesday night dinners in Newcastle now and each one has been fantastic. I love the mystery aspect of the restaurant reveal and I’ve made great friends each time, and we’re all still in touch and have made arrangements to meet up on weekends. It’s a great idea to make new friends and try new places - I can’t wait until we have more activities lined up in Newcastle!

A great way to meet new people and experience different restaurants. I particularly enjoy the Flight Club meetup in Birmingham on Monday nights. Bowling is also a lot of fun. Looking forward to the rollout of the karaoke event. Give it a try, what's the worst that could happen?

Storiboard is a genuinely enjoyable way of meeting new people and trying new experiences. Over the last few months I have made some friends from the experiences and every session is different with people of all backgrounds attending of all ages.
Storiboard is a lot smaller than their competitors who have an increased pool of restaurants to choose from for their Tuesday experience and this is currently the let down when they are repeated so you don't experience new local gems in the city. With regards to their bowling, karaoke and darts experiences these are what make Storiboard stand out. It is hard to make new friends as an adult as you get older and Storiboard has helped me build my social confidence and community and I would recommend it to anyone to try it out.

I went to one event last week bowling and met some lovely people but unfortunately only half the people showed up. I came again to another event today and nobody had turned up but myself. Very disappointing, I asked the staff member to cancel my membership as for some reason I can’t seem to log in and the forgot password link isn’t working 🙄. They said they’d give me a month free then offered to meet me themselves and come play which sounds so weird!
First event great! Second diabolical and weird.

Walked out after 2 minutes.
I looked forward to this evening so much based on the website, other reviews and what was in store. I was a little late due to a business call I had to take, but when I arrived only 2 people were there who were half my age. If people aren't going to turn up surely you should be notified so you know what to expect? The venue seemed happy that 3 of us were there. It felt like staff there were treating us like the "no friends club". I went home after a few minutes as I felt more lonely than I did when I arrived. At least it was only £10 lost. Stay alone and don't bother.

I went to a dinner in my nearest city, all excited and the restaurant was a good choice. However, I found it really difficult to socialise since there was a large age difference. I’m in my early-mid twenties, and the youngest on the table. Everyone else on the table were late 30s to 60s. I thought that I would be with people 10 years within my age range. I spent a lot of money travelling to the nearest city and left feeling quite underwhelmed. I wasn’t well matched to my table. My advice would be to not let it go ahead if there is too much of a wide age difference, or I should have been given the option to be postponed to a new meet-up at the very least

I had such a good experience for my first storiboard dinner.
I was very nervous before getting there but so glad I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and went.
For some reason, there were 8 of us not 6. But no issue, just more great people to meet! 4 us on went on to a bar after dinner and ended up staying out until last orders… sore heads at work today, oops!
Our group got on really well, the chat flowed from the start, not awkward at all. We now even have a WhatsApp group!

60, living alone and back in Edinburgh after 30’years away, I need to get out more. Found StoriBoard Club and took a leap of faith! Safe to say I was not disappointed- in fact it was an absolutely fantastic evening. Well organised, a great choice of restaurant, and the people in our group got on from minute 1! We are already planning our next meet up.
The team were massively helpful, encouraging and supportive.. . . As Arnie said “I’ll Be Back!” Thank you StoriBoard

It's a fake 'algorythm' that just preted put you with folk you have things in common with. They claim they pick 'secret gem' restaurants, but in fact the restaurant they picked was not only super basic, it was loud and super touristy. Horrible night, if politeness hadn't prevented it, I'd literally wanted to walk straight out.

It was well organised, well communicated and the group of people were good company, with good conversation.

I went on my first Storiboard club dinner yesterday and the only regret I have is not doing it sooner!!!! My anxiety held me back for the longest time, but I finally decided to go for it and honestly it was an amazing experience and I loved every second of it! We chatted the night away and were the last people to leave the restaurant😂. The restaurant was lovely! Food and service was excellent which made the whole experience even better. Honestly couldn't recommend it enough. Go for it!

Absolutely fantastic. I’ve been thinking about doing this for a while and now that I’ve attended my first evening, I wish I’d done it sooner. If you’ve been through a really hard year like me I can highly recommend it! You’ll meet people and hear their story and realise you’re not alone. You’ll laugh tons and not once want to look at your phone. It’s real engagement and connection. Looking forward to the next.

Had a great time with my 5 strangers/new friends for the evening. The restaurant was more central (than West) than I expected but it was easy enough to travel to. Had good conversation and was just happy to meet new people so didn’t exchange contact details. Would recommend for people wanting to try something different and make new friends :-)

Booked but then couldn't go due to a work related issue. I was asked if I wanted to rebook but I wasn't able to because I didn't know how long the work issue would take to resolve. I asked for a refund and was told no. I could re book but wasn't getting any refund. Outrageous!!!!! Will never re book now. Awful experience.

Went to first Storiboard dinner, was bit nervous to start with but everyone I met for first time was easy going to talk to and soon felt more at ease in restaurant on the night.
It was great being matched up such easy going people and general chit chat. All looked after really well to by the restaurant. Such a good feeling experiencing meeting new people in Edinburgh and decided to try another at end of April.
For anyone doing this for first time don't be nervous, you get an icebreaker on day as well but I was relieved to be in restaurant we were booked to going to that everyone else were friendly and chatty 😎
Storiboard dinner club thank you so much for branching out into Edinburgh.
Fab way to meet different people and hopefully in time make new friends attending future dinners.
