The study hall sessions

I recently took my PMP exam and had a very positive experience. The process was smooth, well-organized, and everything was clearly explained from start to finish. The exam environment was professional and secure, and the instructions were easy to follow. Overall, I felt confident during the exam, and I’m happy to say I passed successfully. I would recommend this process to other candidates.

Overall, a manageable experience to apply and to take the exam. At times, it feels that the goal of the exam questions is to trick the test taker rather than honing in to what the concept or topic is. I find the practice exams costing money (and a lot of it) goes against PMI principles in educating future practitioners— it often feels that PMI is looking for new ways to grab money instead of ways to equip members to succeed. I recommend that PMI looks for the membership benefits to reflect opportunities for members to showcase their interest and then gain knowledge without breaking the bank. More and more, the PMI membership does not seem worth the price against the “benefits” it provides. Please consider being a people-first institute rather than a money-first one. I took the PMP exam and earned AT in all three domains, however I didn’t come out of it feeling like I’m joining an institute that is affordable or inclusive.

Was a great feeling seeing that my preparation was adequate for the exam. There is a lot of study material and study groups I joined to achieve success. And it was a great experience overall. Looking forward to continuing my duties in project management field while applying additional knowledge and collaborating with a larger group.

Being PMP certified is a real achievement in a project manager career. Don’t take it for granted, the exam is long and complex. I would suggest to use several study guides and mock exams to prepare the exam.

Using the PMP Study Hall really helped me pass the PMP exam the first time. Also the applying for the exam was easy. Scheduling the exam was easy. I got the results in less than 24 hours.

The tools were good, but it seems that the study hall needs to be updated to reflect the most updated PMBOK, and if there could be another bank of questions monthly for students who purchase the study hall package would be a great addition.

My experience with the Project Management Institute was incredibly valuable. While the 40-hour bootcamp was intense, it was exactly what I needed to successfully pass the PMP exam. Coming from a design and architecture background without a formal business education, the immersive nature of the course helped me truly understand and speak the language of project management. The post-bootcamp resources (OPAs!) available on their website were just as essential, allowing me to continue reinforcing key concepts while offering new perspectives on processes and frameworks. Easy to follow instructions, real life scenarios, great practice tools

Based on the PMBOK 7th Edition, I did the on demand online exam prep training to prepare for the exam and qualify for my 35 PDUs. I appreciated the self paced nature and the completeness of the instruction. It really worked around my inconsistent work schedule. The most beneficial part was the 261 practice exam questions at the end of the training. Each question had good explanations and enriched what I learned in the training.

PMI has everything packaged for an intuitive, relevant learning experience. The study material was easy to access, and the flow made sense. From start to finish, it took less than two weeks to sign up, do the course work, schedule the exam, study, take the test, and get my PMP certificate. It's so worth it!

It strengthened my project management skills, built my confidence, and gave me practical knowledge I can apply in real projects.
