I would give 0 stars if it was an option.
Terrible customer service.
I went to close my account but they refused to do it. Tried to make me come back the next day to get my money. Withdrew all money. They kept .05. Now sending me emails and mail telling me my account is overdrawn.
No help on phone. Went through prompt after prompt to get a person.
People are offshore so they talk different, hard to understand, phone was cutting out.
Don't bank here!!!!!

Terrible bank with un needed fees

Terrible customer service! To begin with you get a virtual assistant that doesn't know how to direct you to the correct person to resolve simple issues and let's hope its not anything major like unexpected charge. Speaking of , do not transfer YOUR MONEY from savings to checking because there is a transaction limit and they charge $3 per transaction on top of. $3 fee to pull YOUR MONEY using an atm that is not theirs. Then maintenance fees and no telling what other fees. When you get your debit card they send it and then send a Pin in a different envelope IF you even get the pin it could be days after the card. Why they don't just send a card and allow u to set your own pin i have no clue why they don't! I had 3 cards mailed because I never got the pin they claimed was mailed so I couldn't use that card at all ans ended up opening a new account just to get a card and pin mailed to me. The customer service that I was able to get through to was not American and I couldn't understand anything she said. Take your money somewhere else! This bank takes to much of your money to use their services and their mobile app is awful

Terrible customer service

If I could give customer service a negative star I would. Never have I had such a negative experience with a customer service representative from a bank. The English was broken but regardless of that they were very rude, provided no assistance and used profanity when I insisted on speaking to someone else. PNC needs to do better!!!

Boardman ohio I went in to cash a check…

Boardman ohio I went in to cash a check and there was a line of 12 people while 2 people worked the desk and drive through at the same time while 8 other employees were either on their phones or just talking . I was there for an hour and others were very upset. Why would you have 2 people working the floor and the drive through at the same time . Guy would take a customer in line and after go to the drive through while employees would just stand there doing nothing. It's the worst banking experience I've ever had . Now I'm going in Monday and closing my account and going to chase or another bank. You really need to investigate Boardman ohio branch in market Street . It's the worst banking experience I've ever had . And this was a Wednesday I might add

None of their employees know ANYTHING

I go in to my local branch, ask to open a new business bank account, set up an in person meeting for the following week. Attend the coordinated meeting after 6-days lead up, get told in person I cannot open a business account this way I would need to set up a virtual meeting. Banker gives me the phone number to call to schedule virtual meeting. I call that number, the PNC employee on the phone tells me I cannot schedule a virtual meeting over the phone, I need to do it online through the app. Log in to my account through the app - wouldn't you know - it says I cannot schedule an appointment to open a new account & I need to go in to my local branch.

I go into my local branch, they laugh & tell me I should have chosen another bank.

Worst customer service and established…

Worst customer service and established procedures. They are archaic. You can only wire 50k for the whole month and if you call in to do a wire over the phone it takes up to 2 days. It's like they haven't adjusted any of their rules in 15 years. This is a third tier bank. Even there customer service have no clue about their system. Same issues with bank transfers. STAY AWAY.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PNC BANK!! I looked at my account a few minutes…

I looked at my account a few minutes after midnight. My rent check was showing paid. My deposit which would have been need to make sure the rent was covered showed deposited also shortly after midnight. I checked my account about 7am this morning and everything looked the same. About 2pm, I checked my account again because I was needing to spend some move and my balance increased by the amount of my rent check!! These people have sent my check back as an NSF AND NOW MY RENT IS COSTING US AN EXTRA $300!!! I WILL BE CHANGING BANKS AND MORE ALL OF OUR BUSINESS ACCOUNTS!! THIS IS COLD, INSENSITIVE AND UNETHICAL!!

PNC has got to be the most incompetent…

PNC has got to be the most incompetent bank in existance. I could not send a wire on the app, enroll in zelle, send a wire over the phone, no one on the customer service could help. The only option i had was visit a branch, which the nearest was a 7 hour drive.

PNC Customer Service out of the Country with Bad English!

I needed to have a Stop Payment on an ACH as I'm entering a debt consolidation program. The person I spoke with was EXTREMELY hard to understand, got so bad I asked are you in the US? Of course she said no. Why do Conglomerates have to find the cheapest labor in the world to conduct your business.
Unconscionable!

PNC is exactly what the reviews say

Our bank was acquired by PNC and we were hoping it would be an improvement. I would have thought it impossible, but PNC is worse. I've yet to have a positive experience. The first time I went in person, I waited in line for just over 40 minutes to see a teller with only 4 people in front of me. By the time I left, the line was out of the door. The gentleman in front of me was there to close his account, said he waited almost an hour the first time and left the next time due to the wait. Unfortunately this was just a sign of what to expect. Once I was seen, only to deposit cash, the teller said there was an issue and he wasn't sure he could make the deposit. He said he needed to speak to someone, then went over and helped the drive-thru before returning to help me with the assistance of someone else. Took almost 10 minutes to deposit cash into my own account. Phone assistance is equally as bad. Make a deposit on a weekend, funds aren't available "the next business day" as stated, it's the day after the next business day. Changing banks.

I went to the PNC Bank on September 3…

I went to the PNC Bank on September 3 at 1540 at Church Street 10:45 I go there every month when I get my Social Security check went inside the bank to the ATM machine tried to withdraw $400 out the machine, but the money didn’t come out it was too far down in the machine when to talked to one the manager and she told me there was nothing they could do about it to call Social Security. The machine had been acting up the whole week. I guess I’m out of $400. that machine would’ve have been over $400 money in the machine is counted for I don’t have money to pay my bills at this point. I don’t bank with PNC. It should be some way that they could do a claim so I can get my money from the Pnc bank Social Security did a claim. I don’t know if they gonna do anything about it cause they put my money on the card. I feel like PNC should have gave me my $400 since the atm machine was dysfunction I never been in this situation before I always try to do the right thing in life tired of crying.😩 but I know God is good and all the time God i

They acquired my local Bank of 20 years…

They acquired my local Bank of 20 years it's been one annoyance one communication frustration after another. They laid off 900 employees and yes customer service in the branch and through a phone call has been barely adequate.. they have 900 less salaries to pay and yet they can't print me Bank counter checks without charging that's revealing about just how they are a bottom line bank they do not care about their customers () corporate raiders... And determined to catch up to the likes of citigroup JP Chase at the expense of acquired Bank customers! Call your local congressman...!

PNC bank is a horrible company

PNC bank is a horrible company. A friend of mine wrote me a check and it was placed on hold. The original reason they gave was that it was because this person has never written me a check before. When I was on the phone with the fraud department they transferred me to a supervisor who introduced himself and then I said hello and he hung up. So I called back and the representative said that I used abusive language and that the supervisor wasn't available. I told them I would wait. He said he couldn't put me on the phone. This last for at least 30 minutes. Finally he got tired of
Lying to me so he put me on hold ( thought he couldn't do that). The supervisor picks up and tells me that there is a spot on the check that has been marked on and that's why it's on hold (lie number 2). Then the supervisor calls the maker of the check to verify and comes back and says it's been verified but they are still
Holding the funds until the hold falls off. Terrible customer service and I've been a customer of PNC for over 20 years. Not anymore. I'm moving my accounts.
