Top Line Security

Every bank should take lessons from PNC! This bank is unbelievably secure. They check with me if there are too many transactions to see if it was my purchases, they have card lock at a touch, so that there are no unknown transactions, a feature I love, no surprises as I have had at other banks! If my card gets lost all I have to do is go to my local branch office and a new card is produced on site, no week to 10 days waiting for another debit card, who could ask for anything more!!!!

If I could give them 0 I sure would

If I could give them 0 I sure would. Their policies complete B.S! A scam to take
People money. They transfer funds between your account without permission!! Then the savings account they charge you to transfer your own money within the bank. Charges take forever to clear. This is The worst! Bank I’ve ever had. If you had a choice please go else where. Each time I called customer service they misadvised me, gave me wrong information. Please stay away from this bank. It’s a reason why the ratings are so low.

Bring on the Fraud with PNC Bank

Bring on the Fraud with PNC Bank! If you want to cash a check that doesn’t belong to you? Well PNC Bank is your place! You’ll love it here!! They’ll protect you . Laws? Damn the laws and Policy PNC bank! As long as you have a mobile deposit, you can cash anyone’s check!! No signature verification. No two signature verification of the Check isn’t issued to you. They’ll release THOUSANDS of dollars to you that don’t belong to you!! Woohoo! You can just forge the name on the check and boom!! You’ve got thousands! My son‘s annuity check was sent to the wrong address IN SEPTEMBER last year. The person that received this check lives in Ormond Beach Florida on bareback trail & has a bank account with PNC bank and all he had to do was forge my sons signature and they released the funds immediately. We have a copy of that Check that was forged . We know what PNC did and clearly didn’t do. I mean-they didn’t even follow the two signature verification process seeing that the check wasn’t issued to their client but rather my son. You don’t need a two signature verification with this bank if the check is not made out to you in your name I’n really in reality By law , You do need a two signature verification in which they failed to verify entirely or any signature verification for that matter- Oopsie !
Yes, we’ve filed the police reports and yes tried to talk to PNC Bank about what they’ve done and the only excuse that they offered was really none and that they had three years to investigate. Three years. When all they had to do was stop payment on the check or get this- follow laws and policy. This is the game they wanna play. Thanks to the ineptitude of PNC bank My son’s move was delayed by months and months and caused serious financial harm when he was counting on that check PNC Bank, so recklessly and lawlessly released to a criminal. Consider yourselves reported to every agency in Florida. Not waiting any longer for you to catch a little goodwill to do the right thing over a situation you royally screwed up.

Password

I am amazed they stay open. After many years as a customer they would continually reject my password. Each time they tell you it won't happen again after spending an hour on the phone getting a new password. My password was changed 13 times over a year. I just had another incident that's too long to explain. My advice would be to go to any other bank than PNC.

Erosion in branch banking service and customer service

After better than 30 years with PNC, the past five years has seen a massive degradation in branch banking and overall customer service. In my area we lost a dozen convenient banking locations with no explanation; is PNC dying? I went into a "new" PNC Banking center the other day with several thousand dollars in cash for deposit and was told Id need to do the deposit $100 at a time through an ATM?! What? Calling or chatting with customer service -always!- requires massive hold times and multiple reroutes to address even simple questions. This precipitous fall in customer interactions is echoed throughout all the reviews here on Trust Pilot. It kills me to have to rearrange my entire financial life with another bank, but PNC is no longer earning my business.

PNC bank is horrible

PNC bank is horrible. We have several hundred k in the account and the max mobile deposit is $ 5,000.00. They will not increase it. I have to drive to the branch near my house and they will not help me. First they try to sell me services and then they point me to the ATM and say I need to deposit the check myself. The ATM is in direct sunlight and basically unusable in the afternoon. I want to leave PNC so bad.

Absolutely Horrible Customer Service

I have been a customer for over 35 years. Trying to get customer service today was so incredibly frustrating that - for the first time in my life - I screamed into their automate phone line. My throat is sore and I can't believe that the inability to get help with a very simple issue came to this. My first attempt was to call the bank but I was connected to someone whose English was so bad that they could not understand the issue at all. The rep asked how she could help me, and as I explained, she kept saying okay and then after a pause, she asked how she could help me. Totally did not understand either my words or what their website looked like. Then I tried online chat. Eventually I was able to get what was supposedly a live rep but his comprehension was so bad that it took forever. All I needed was for them to remove a old debit card that had been replaced and should never have shown up on my account page. Their error resulted in the loss of numerous "rewards" because the activation kept going to a card I no longer had. I tried calling what I thought was the corporate line for filing a complaint but could never get past the automated feature no many how many times I requested a live representative. My income has been direct deposited into my PNC account for decades but later this week I am going to find another establishment that will be able to help should an issue arise in the future.

Just withdraw your money at this point

Just withdraw your money at this point. I deposited a check and it’s taking 40 days and nights for it to be processed and cleared. They don’t care about it being your money, they take their precious time doing whatever it is they signed up to do and tell you that you have to wait. BILLS DONT WAIT ON BANKS.

Awful credit card department

Their credit card department gave me the runaround for 2 weeks on a card application. Then finally I had to call underwriting to get informed of a denial. They couldn't explain the denial because I have a perfect credit score, zero late payments, high income, and a fantastic credit history. Thanks for wasting my time.

If you are a victim of fraud PNC will…

If you are a victim of fraud PNC will not help you and will not care if you are out thousands of dollars. They will drag their feet, delay returning calls, ask you to complete forms, have them notarized, then ask you to come back to the branch and do is all over again because the wrong box was checked off, even though they helped you fill out the form. They will delay for weeks and now over a month in returning the stolen money to your account when they are responsible for cashing the clearly fraudulent unsigned check. I've been a customer for over 30 years and I'm still waiting to meet someone from the bank that actually cares.

This bank has the worst customer…

This bank has the worst customer service. If you need help with an account expect a loooooong waiting process. after 15 minutes navigating their menues, another 40 minute hold until you can speak with someone. we need to hold companies like this accountable, the only way to do that is withdraw your money and take it elsewhere. they will waste your time without a second thought.

Terrible experience with PNC Bank

Terrible experience with PNC Bank! As if losing someone you loved isn’t painful enough I had to deal with this bank for 22 months after my dear dad passed away to get my inheritance released. Holding onto funds, whereas other banks I had to deal with were extremely qualified and released funds within six months of my dad‘s passing. Not only did PNC Bank delay my access to my rightful inheritance, but they also cost me potential earnings. The process was a nightmare.! No one seemed to know what they were doing, and I was constantly shuffled around.
Extremely disappointed in their service and handling of this very sensitive situation
Would not recommend!!

Reliable everyday bank with a great app and solid support

I’ve been using PNC as my primary bank for a long time and overall it has been extremely reliable. The mobile app is easy to use, deposits post quickly, and I’ve never had issues accessing my money when I need it.
What I appreciate most is that things just work — transfers, bill pay, mobile deposits, and debit card controls are all straightforward and dependable. When I’ve needed customer support, they’ve been professional and helpful, which matters a lot when it comes to something as important as your finances.
No bank is perfect, but compared to other banks I’ve used in the past, PNC has been consistent and stress-free. It’s the kind of bank you don’t have to think about because it does what it’s supposed to do.
I would absolutely recommend PNC to anyone looking for a dependable everyday bank.
