They are a scam company

They are a scam company, recently My husband bought tickets to travel to Los Angeles with me. The day after purchasing, they called and asked for more than double amount of their first price and when we asked to refund our money after more than two hours conversation they accepted torefund half of it!

The person who helped us was able to resolve the issue we had but the initial issue didn’t need to happen in the first place because we were quoted a price first and then there was a price changed and went up when the flight ticket was on hold after we paid.

Pocketfare.com is fraud

As of today 05/14/2026, I made a reservation on this so-call pocketfare last night, they tried to take money from my account during the night but it didn’t go thru. However, earlier this morning i received a call from their customer support the man name James Brown told me there is discount for my wife ticket is $309.96 that if I book it now I will get the ticket with that amount, and they tried in the past night it didn’t go through. He told me to pay the $309.96 for the ticket from Houston to New Jersey, I was like ok. He went ahead and charged me. Then put me on hold for more 15 minutes I had to hang off the phone and call back all the sudden he told me that the discount is no more valid that the $309.96 he charged me first is no refundable, or if I don’t want to lose the money I have to pay additional $180 to get the regular price for my wife ticket. My wife just lost her Aunt in New Jersey she supposed to be there today for the funeral which is on May 16, 2026. The funniest part was when he charged my card it went thru, and I can see he even tried 5 different same thing multiple times I’m looking at my transactions this dude trying to charge me again and again. I was like this might be a fraud so I immediately called WellsFargo about the issues… Someone need to do something about this. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Beware: Confirmation Does Not Mean Your Ticket Is Secure

Scammers Scammers Scammers
I had a very bad experience with Pocket Fair and I strongly advise people to be careful before booking with them.

I booked a flight through their website and received a confirmation email, so naturally I believed my ticket was confirmed. Later, when I tried calling their customer service number, the call would disconnect after the first beep. After that, I received a call from someone claiming to be from their company.

They told me that the flight I booked was supposedly a “promotional fare” that was already sold out, and that I now had to choose another flight and pay extra money. This made no sense because they had already sent me a confirmation email for the booking.

When I asked them to send the updated details and policy information by email, they refused and said it was “against company policy” to send those details in writing. That was a huge red flag for me. They then claimed that their website mentions flexible dates and that bookings must be made 21 days in advance to qualify for promotional pricing, but none of this was made clear during my booking process.

I requested a refund because the original ticket I paid for was apparently unavailable, but they denied my refund request.

After this experience, I checked Trustpilot and found many similar complaints from other customers describing the same pattern. I also noticed something suspicious: several positive reviews appear to come from fake-looking accounts using celebrity or actor names, which makes the reviews seem unreliable and manipulated.

Overall, this experience felt extremely misleading and unprofessional. Be very cautious before booking with Pocket Fair. Make sure you read everything carefully, keep records of all communication, and do not rely only on the initial confirmation email.

❗️Don’t trust this website.

❗️Don’t trust this website.
They don’t have zero if not I like to give zero or a minus review for them.
Never trust this website and don’t look at their lie (fraud)prices.
I booked a flight ticket for my son last night and paid the amount that saw there. I received confirmation email.
I tried to call them a few times to talk and confirm it again over phone, but no one didn’t take my phone call. This morning they called and said you must call to your bank and confirm the payment.
I called to my bank and paid the amount, but after payment confirmation he said “we are sorry, your ticket sold out and you must pay $400 more to reserve next one😳” I surprised with their very awful customer management. Even they talked very badly with me over the phone because I said” if the ticket sold out why you took my time to talk with you and with my bank🤦‍♀️. I couldn’t go to my work and I couldn’t get ticket from them. Don’t please don’t trust them❗️❌

The worst experience with them I had a booking yesterday and today they say they don’t have the confirmation about the trip they ask to me pay 3 times the price of the ticket to get the reservation. They are big fraud and scammers don’t trust them. I had a call for customer service they just end up call 3 times while I was trying to explain the situation. If they can’t accommodate the passenger accordingly why would they put a deal on the website

They charged me a low rate initially, increased it and never sent boarding pass.

They charged me a low rate initially $274.00. Called me back the next day and informed me that they couldn't honor that. Settled for $507.00. Told me to call back within 24 hours before flight departure to request boarding pass. I called all night and morning and no one answered the phone and told me to leave a message. The morning of the the flight to leave at 8:41 pm, still no response, I called my credit card company. No one ever returned my call and I never received boarding pass for the flight.

Do not trust them

Do not trust them, they are scammers. They won't give you a refund, you can't cancel the flight and then they are going to tell you some ridiculous price. Do not be fooled by the lo cost that is what they use to grab you. If I could give 0.0 rating I would.

These are the scammers from India

These are the scammers from India.
This appears to be a scam. I would strongly advise against purchasing tickets from Pocketfare. There have been instances where customers were charged significant amounts and then contacted for additional payments.

Please exercise caution and carefully verify the legitimacy of any booking before proceeding.

Scammers

Scammers, If it would allow me to give them rating in minus I would prefer that. Highly suggest do not book your tickets with them as they do big fraud. Initially they will offer cheaper price and then when payment deducts from your account then they start their scam and increase prices 2X to 3X of the price they initially offered. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Pocketfare is a Scam

Pocketfare engaged in misleading and unethical practices in our recent booking. We attempted to book a round-trip flight for my wife but never received a confirmation. When I called, the agent who identified himself as “Liam Smith” (primary contact: 1-888-439-7717; secondary contact: 786-936-3838) told me the return flight had no seats available in the discounted section. He then demanded an additional $300+ to move her to a different section. The agent’s offers and explanations changed repeatedly: at one point he said she could change the outbound or return date at no extra charge, then later refused. He initially said he would cancel the booking and charge only $99, then reversed himself and said the booking was non‑refundable. Pocketfare refused to refund any portion of the $232.88 we paid, claiming we purchased a “Flexible Ticket.” We had a firm need for my wife to return on the booked date for work the next day. The site’s fine print states that flights are subject to change, not that booked dates are not guaranteed. We spent hours on the phone with Pocketfare and never received a resolution; the final representative hung up on me. We ultimately booked the trip directly with the airline. This experience feels like a bait-and-switch and I want a full refund.

Booking issue and highly concerning and alarming customer service behavior.

My wife purchased two tickets from Boston to Atlanta through this company”Pocketfare” and received a confirmation number after payment. The very next morning, they called her saying they needed to change the return flight because it was “no longer available” - even though the flight had not been canceled.

They then told her it would cost an additional $198 per ticket (almost $400 more total). My wife explained she was okay with a time change but did not agree to pay more, especially since the original purchase was $608 total. They gave her an ultimatum: pay the extra or don't fly. When she asked to cancel and requested a refund, they refused, claiming the tickets were non-refundable.

When my wife said she felt she was being scammed and would file a complaint, the representative responded by saying, “You do that and we’ll find you at the airport.” My wife was shocked and asked if she was being threatened, and he repeated “I said we’ll find you at the airport” This was extremely alarming and completely inappropriate.

My wife called me, explained what had happened and I called them back immediately and reached the same individual. Upon being confronted, he denied everything, became rude, aggressive and hung up on me. When I called again 10 min later hoping to speak to a manager to report the incident, he answered and once I identified myself, he started pretending to be someone else. Once I realized it was him and confronted him again, he became rude and began yelling, said our reservation was canceled and hung up again.

This behavior is unacceptable, unprofessional, and very concerning. No one should have to deal with threats or manipulation when simply trying to resolve a booking issue.
I wish there was an option to give no star.

Stay away from this company.

Poketfare is a scam! They scam me hundreds of dollars.

I had a terrible experience with this company—they are scammers just out for your money! After you pay, they tell you that the price only covers a "BASIC Seat," and then try to charge you outrageous amounts for a "Regular Seat." Be very careful: even if you have booked specific dates, they won’t confirm your reservation when you call them, instead putting you on whatever flights they have available. Of which you have to pay extra for. It’s a total scam!

The person I spoke with had a strong Indian accent and claimed his name was Stephen Smith, which felt suspicious. He was also extremely rude and even threatened to blacklist me from Hawaiian and Alaska Airlines because I wouldn’t pay an extra $1600+ for a regular seat. He said people like me, looking for affordable tickets, are at fault and should just book directly with the airline—which tells you he knows they’re scamming people. Disgusting. Learn from my experience! Don't ever book trhough them. I submitting my complain to the BBB> They should be shut down! Stealing money from people blatantly.

They take your money without confirming seats, and you only get a confirmation email to later find out you don’t even have a seat. Then you’re left waiting with no timeline, no guarantee, and no real support. I lost all my money to them. Don’t trust these people!

I wish I had read the review on this…

Update...
Finally a rep. from the cancellation dept. called me and was able to find me a new itinerary for a more reasonable additional fee of $80, though with a layover on one of the ways.

With that said, I'm changing my rating to 2 stars only because of this one person that kept apologizing for my trouble though it doesn't give me my 3 or 4 hours I spent on the phone with their support, airline carrier to check on my reservation, and my bank to file a dispute. I probably won't use this company in the future, unless they offer me a free flight for my trouble...
**************** Original Review *************
I wish I had read the review on this fraudulent business. I've made a reservation through them (Pocketfare) and made sure to look for any restrictions they might have on the lowest fare they provided and could NOT find any. Not even a mentioning of whether a carryon is included or not. an hour later, they called me back reading me a page of restrictions and that my dates are not guaranteed and the airline had no seats for me as they had over 200 people making reservations at the same time (BS). they offer me an upgrade for $192 each way which would have cost me almost twice if I had made a reservation through any of the airlines, directly. The refused to cancel my reservation and made a few offers with additional stops for an additional fee that would double my original fare price. Please Please please don't be had by these crooks...
PS. if I could chose 0 stars I would have for these scammers.
