Holy gosh

Holy gosh, it’s comical how horrific these folks are. So many technical issues backed up by some of the most incompetent customer support folks I’ve spoken in my brief crappy life 😂

Do yourself a favour, if you’re planning on using these guys- drink faeces-laden water instead (probably less painful)

Why am I waiting hour upon hours to wait for you to confirm my details. Everywhere else takes a matter of minutes.

Every week my account gets put with the Anti Fraud team regarding a VPN which I am not using. Then submit my details and wait 30 whole hours for them to be reviewed.

Joke of a gambling site. I will be reporting your company to the gambling commission for un fair practices

My PokerStars UK account was restricted…

My PokerStars UK account was restricted immediately after I deposited money. I previously had an older account (which I can’t access anymore), so I created a new one in good faith. Instead of helping me verify and resolve this, PokerStars have kept (Saying they have froze) ALL my funds and stopped responding.

I’ve emailed and tried chat multiple times with no meaningful response. There’s no phone support or clear escalation path. This is unacceptable for a UK-licensed operator — customers should not be left without access to their own money.

Please contact me and resolve this now — either restore my account access or refund my deposits to the original payment method.

Username: Nakzzzzz

This experience has destroyed my trust. Until PokerStars resolves this, it feels indistinguishable from a scam.

I've emailed their support team with the ID proof, but they keep on sending automated replies first saying my account is active (which is not) and on another thread I need to submit ID documents again (which I have done more than 10 times now - on their website, app, and also over email).

It's a leggit SCAM

It's a leggit SCAM. After registration they ask deposit. You pay deposit and than they block your account. Asking for verification Wich not possible to do with no access to account. Sending you very suspicious phishing email with request of very sensitive personal information. They just take your money. There is no game.

Withdrawing money impossible because of KYC hell

When I tried to withdraw my money, they asked for KYC again and I've been in an account verification loop since. I've submitted my document many times over on the website, over email and through their 3rd party KYC partner but my account is still not verified. Impossible to speak with an actual person when reached out to customer support and all the emails they send you are generic and usually don't apply to your situation!

Deposit was very easy

Deposit was very easy, They accepted my money 50 euros within seconds. The we entered the verification of my identity. This is where all the problems started.

1. Unable to verify Gov Docs in France
2 Unable to confirm address
3. Please reply to email which we did. Then message email no longer operating

Back and forth. Complete waste of time. It is a complete scam. Run out of India. Scam centre of the Universe.

Avoid at all costs.

Frozen account : Avoid PokerStars – Untrustworthy and Unfair Treatment

I created a PokerStars account and immediately ran into technical issues. The confirmation code they sent to my email didn’t work. After multiple failed attempts and a lot of frustration, I finally managed to confirm the account.

Once inside, I played some live blackjack and actually had a good experience — everything ran smoothly and I made a small profit. I then requested a withdrawal.

That’s when the real problem started.

Shortly after requesting the withdrawal, PokerStars closed my account without giving me any explanation. I didn’t receive any email telling me why, and they refused to pay out my money. I’ve reached out to their support, only to get vague, copy-paste responses referring to “internal risk assessments” and claiming they don’t have to tell me anything.

They keep hiding behind their Terms of Service and won’t even confirm whether my withdrawal was processed. I will now be forced to take legal action and report them to the Malta Gaming Authority and European Consumer Centre to get my money back.

Do NOT trust this platform. If you win, they might just close your account and keep your money. Stay away.

The highest RTP's are not running on…

The highest RTP's are not running on the slots! That's the worst offender for me...when slots have reduced versions that decimimate a players balance to force more deposits (Sickening practice).

Far too many casinos (90% of them) many have went down the road of greed rather than player retention...I try to play elsewhere with the highest available RTP settings on the games I wish to play.

There's also a few providers missing since I last played at Pokerstars (Novomatic/Greentube) and just wish there were a larger selection of providers in general.

Other than that I've has no problems with Pokerstars and my withdrawals (Like most casino's these days) are in my bank in seconds!

But yea those nerferd RTP's Need to go EVERYWHERE they are!

There is not a single excuse a casino rep can come up for this.

Extremely Disappointed – Long-Time User Ignored and Let Down

After over 20 years of loyalty to PokerStars, I’m compelled to speak out due to ongoing and worsening issues that have made the platform nearly unusable — and the lack of response from support has made it even more frustrating.
The software has consistently been unstable on macOS for years, regularly freezing and crashing, especially when multi-tabling. These crashes have cost me valuable hands, and even entire tournaments — sometimes involving thousands of dollars.
Hoping for better performance, I recently switched to a Windows system. Shockingly, the experience is even worse. During a recent tournament, my cards were invisible — I couldn’t see my hand at all. I reported this immediately and even provided screenshots… and now, five days later, I still haven’t received a single reply. No explanation. No apology. Nothing.
This lack of basic customer support is unacceptable.
To add insult to injury, deposit issues persist as well. I’ve been unable to deposit over £20 for months, and despite reporting this previously, the issue remains unresolved. How can a platform handling millions daily not fix something as fundamental as deposits?
PokerStars once set the standard for online poker. Now it feels outdated, unreliable, and indifferent to its players. Many are moving to platforms like GGPoker — and it’s not hard to see why.
I’ll be sharing my full experience and screenshots on social media to help inform others. Loyal players deserve better — and it’s time PokerStars started acting like the industry leader it claims to be.

The U.K gambling watchdog should most…

The U.K gambling watchdog should most certainly investigate Pokerstars. I genuinely think HMRC would be quids in and maybe 🤔 they could get a good payout unlike it's customer's....Pokerstars unfortunately are very suspicious, very suspect...naughty
