The job that was done was done efficiently and I cannot fault the electrician. The electrician was helpful, polite and good at their job. I would happily use them again. The only down side was booking through local heroes. Telling me that the appointment would be within a day or 2 but then when they put you through to the actual company to sort things out, the dates and times do not match. nowhere near it. A fault with local heroes I think. They need to work closer with the actual companies. I will go direct next time, Another negative was the actual company doing the work did not understand the work that was required even though I was very clear, more than once. they tried to tell me it was a 2 man job even though I explained the work required and that it was a simple job. And only one person turned up anyway! the first quote was way off what I paid in the end due to the actual work being required being very simple. Shame about the booking process but cannot fault the work done.

Very good service and knowledgeable staff.

I would not trust them. Some of the failed issues were incorrect and would had paid significant of money ( more than £500) to fix it, if I had not researched it myself. A simple apology would be a starting point. Very poor service.

Should check electrics work after job has finished

Arranged for an electrical safety test to be conducted on a house I am buying. Was easy to set up and keep in contact with them. Got the report back within a week with a detailed analysis of the property. Was also the cheapest for this kind of test that I found

Arrange a for a load test to be carried out. The electricians arrived at the appointed time and carried out the test promptly and explain some anomalies they located.I was happy with the service provided and price qouted

Turned up as arranged and the reoport came through in a timely manner.

The engineers who came were efficient, informative and on task.

Very good company, arrived on time and completed a comprehensive survey.

The company will be added to my list of trusted contractors.

Work completed to a good standard. The electrician was a little late arriving however he kept me updated on his ETA so that was fine.

I would have given 5 stars however when booking the job I sent full details including photo's explaining what work was required together with potential addition parts required and yet none of this was passed onto the person who came out. So although the basic work was completed, I had wanted another part installed which could easily have been done had the information been passed on.

I will now need to either do the additional work myself or get someone else in to complete it.

Turned up on time, very knowledgable and informative and job was done with the proper amount of dilligence and care.

Company had to cancel a couple of times, but great communications and very apologetic. But when electrician was here he changed over two kitchen lights with no issues. Great company which I will happily use again :)

Slow service as the report is provided late

The engineer not familiar with the rangemaster cooker used his experience and common sense and solved the problem. He advised to check the ovens after use.

Be careful with the technician they send. Some seem underqualified. I got an electrician that almost burnt an LED light by plugging it directly to a fluorescent light lamp, when the job was to remove the electronic ballast. I had sent instructions, photographs of the ballast & wirings, but apparently he didn't get any of that, so there seem to be communication issues with Polarity Electrics. I also talked about the rewiring as soon as he arrived, though. He ignored all that and plugged the light straight in. I had to jump and turn it off before the light burned.
