I regret going though Policy Genius for…
I regret going though Policy Genius for my life insurance. I started this process almost a month ago. The first call to go over the plans and health info was fine. Though the rep entered in the wrong coverage amount. People make mistakes, no big deal. She said a new policy would come through with the corrected amount within the week. It never did, so I called again. They said they didn't get to it, but it would be fixed in a week. Still nothing. Then they told me to accept the incorrect plan, and work with the insurer to fix it. Now it looked like the plan was cancelled with no replacement plan. Great. I think I'll just start the process again and go direct to the insurer. This has been such a waste of time.

Lacking Responsiveness & Accuracy
I received a quote on Tuesday that I decided to move forward with it. My agent contacted me on Wednesday and shared that it would go into effect on 10/17 (the next day). I was told that I would receive a docusign to make it official that I expected to receive that same day. I emailed Thursday sharing I hadn’t received the docusign. A few hours later it was sent, but then it had a few things discussed on the original quote not included in the document. I reached out requesting a revision. I didn’t have any reply and followed up on Friday. Still no response. I still have not canceled my orginal policy because I do not want to risk a period of no coverage. I am also strongly considering staying with my current insurer that I know is very responsive when I need something.
