Contacted Polygon to initiate a track and trace for a leak that had appeared on an internal wall. From the initial contact with Leo at their office he explained the process of what they would do and arranged for their engineer Stuart to visit and locate the leak and provide a full in-depth report including videos and pictures. This now enables me to move forward to arrange a builder/plumber to gain access to the area of the leak and fix.

Highly recommend this company as professional from start to finish.

£900 to find the leak ( tidily) and employing them for up to 8 hours after 6 hours they had exposed the leak which was a £2 push fit join between 2 pipes. No tools involved and a quick fix but they still insisted on charging £132 for the 2 minute repair. No goodwill from them at all.

Our technician Angus was a very polite person who respected our home and talked through the different things he was doing to detect our heating system underground leak.
We had a tricky case and he had to come out three times. There were some delays to his availability so we were without heating for about 3 weeks, which was stressful.
In the end, we had two lots of excavations through the concrete and plumbing work carried out on Polygon's advice, but the actual leak was not pinpointed by Polygon. Although we were only charged for one trace process by Polygon (thank goodness) we have had to pay a plumber for three sets of his work, which has added up.

During the recent insurance claim we had to make on our home insurance policy due to a leak in our shower the insurance company (Privilege) arranged for someone from Polygon UK to come out to our home in order to trace and discover where the leak was coming from.

I received a call from Polygon to schedule an appointment for a member of their team to come out to our property and I was given a date and a time slot for the visit.

The young man from Polygon (Tom March) called an hour before he arrived to politely let me know he was on his way which we really appreciated.

Well what can I say about Tom? He was such a polite, helpful, knowledgeable and thorough young man and kept us fully informed of what he was doing and was happy to share his investigations and findings with myself and my husband. He used some very high tech devices to assist him in finding where the leak was coming from and took great pleasure in showing us what he’d discovered on his iPad etc.

Tom March certainly is a credit to his company and represented Polygon excellently and they are very fortunate to have such a wonderful and dedicated young man as a member of their team.

Best thing we did was have Polygon to source a couple of leaks we had in our home.
Previous plumbers couldn't locate them and it was costing us time and money.
You are asked to pay upfront and the engineers guarantee around 4 hrs to your job....more if needed.
Polygon use imaging cameras and gas testing equipment to name some.
We were visited by James, he was with us for over 4hrs and did a thorough job. He showed me readings from equipment, explained all procedures and advised on works needed to rectify things.
Everything is photographed and recorded. On completion you are given a comprehensive report complete with photographs and videos.

Excellent service from Polygon. Range of available dates provided & they proactively followed up with earlier cancellation also.
Eddie the technician spent hours at our property trying via various mechanisms to locate the leak that wasn’t yet evident. Managed to locate it in a really difficult area tucked away and under the floor. Correctly predicted the cause and allowed our plumber to be able to fix it. So relieved it is sorted before Christmas.

A few days ago we had the pleasure of using Polygon for the first time. A leak which had required the central heating loop to be re-pressurised every 5 hours and which our contracted gas service Company couldn’t find during three visits got sorted in just 4 hours!!
David is the perfect representative for your Company. He is professional and thorough and happy to explain everything that is being checked. He started off using the thermal camera and found the leak very quickly. The pressurised gas check is another option but wouldn’t have found our leak which was located behind a cabinet at floor level. But it’s good to know there are several methods available.
I would very happily recommend Polygon to everyone else. I only wished we had contacted them sooner and not put up with the leak for so long.
As I said to David when he left, pleasure to meet you but I hope to not need to see you again!!

The engineer, Harry, was on time, very pleasant to talk with, found the leak where it had been pinpointed by Paragon on an earlier trace and did the repair with expertise.
Left the area clean and protected whilst the leak dries out. Excellent.
